Great service and not so great product
Air Con Centre was flexible for delivery date and delivery was reliable. However, the portable Honeywell air conditioning unit is so loud, it is not possible to have it in the bedroom. Not recommended product. Daikin, Samsung and Media are much better products.

Ordered a 16000btu unit and a…
Ordered a 16000btu unit and a completely different unit sent. Sorry you should have advised before sending incorrect unit or taken more care in your warehouse to insure what was sent matched the order, as I would have rejected it and had a refund. But to add injury to this situation I was asked to unpack the unit to take a picture of the serial number, which I was not happy doing and informed you of this, but at this point noticed the unit had been previously opened. You should have looked at the delivery company photo it would have been obvious what you sent in error also taken my word that the unit I ordered would need two people to lift it because of the weight being over the legal limit for a one man lift. Eventually got a refund but with all the messing around took longer than it should, re my comments earlier. So am still without the unit I originally ordered.

We'd also like to clarify why we requested the photo of the silver product label. Unfortunately, before we can process a warehouse error, we do have to verify the item received against our records. This isn't because we doubted your experience, but because we have procedures in place to confirm any picking errors before we can take further action. Had we received the photo when first requested, we would have been able to verify the issue and resolve it more quickly.
We're sorry that this process added to your frustration. We also appreciate your comments regarding the delivery, although the courier service is provided by a third-party company and their handling of the parcel is outside of our direct control.
We're pleased we were able to issue your refund in the end, but we're sorry the overall experience fell below the standard we aim to provide and that you were left without the unit you originally ordered.

We'd just like to provide a little context, as we can see you haven't placed an order with us. We had excellent stock levels throughout the year, but the recent heatwave created unprecedented demand and many of our air conditioning units sold out within a matter of days. Customers who ordered at the beginning of the heatwave were able to purchase while stock was available, however demand quickly exceeded supply. This isn't something unique to us and has affected many retailers across the industry.
We appreciate that it's disappointing when the item you want is unavailable, but we don't feel this is a fair reflection of our business or the service we provide, as you haven't actually used our service or placed an order with us.

Beware, company selling unavailable items
Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. I placed an order for a portable air conditioner while it was showing as in stock with next-day delivery. My payment was taken, I received an order confirmation, and even a few hours later, a DPD shipment notification, leading me to believe the order had been allocated.
Based on that, I purchased a compatible window sealing kit, only to be told shortly afterwards that the air conditioner was actually out of stock and my order had been cancelled. I was advised no further stock would be available until next year.
I emailed to explain that I was now out of pocket because I had relied on the shipment notification, but I never received a response. My refund has also remained pending, meaning I am unable to purchase an alternative unit during the hottest weather of the year.
I appreciate mistakes can happen, but accepting orders for unavailable stock, creating a courier consignment, and then cancelling the order is extremely poor. Even worse, no acknowledgement by the company after informing them that I had purchased additional items for the machine and was now out of pocket. Would not recommend.

Order delivery overdue......
Edit: unit arrived on saturday 27th.
Ordered an air con unit on Saturday 20th June with next day delivery. Due Tuesday (given that I ordered at the weekend). It doesn't arrive, but delivery can be up to 10pm. Tried to phone both of their numbers but answerphone just says they are not taking calls and to email. So I email. Automated reply saying they can take up to 72 hours to reply. DPD email to say there is a delay. Its now Thursday and still no delivery. Airconcentre did email today to say that DPD had a backlog and it should now be delivered Friday. Communication seems to have been a problem all around here. No one seems to be letting each other know what's going on, and airconcentre deciding not to take phone calls exacerbated the problem. I have cancelled arrangements for what will be the third day tomorrow. I have had better from this company. Very disappointing.

At this stage, you're welcome to wait while we receive the outcome of DPD's investigation, especially as air conditioners are currently sold out. Alternatively, if you'd prefer not to wait any longer, we can arrange for the parcel to be returned to us if it is located and issue you with a full refund. Competitive price, efficient delivery but over promised
Straight forward purchase of an air con I couldn’t find anywhere else. Competitive price as well. I’m not giving 5 stars because I was promised next day delivery if ordering by 10 pm (which I did). I received the day after. Although this wasn’t exactly a problem, I think you over promised unnecessarily.

I still haven't received an order that…
I still haven't received an order that was dispatched Monday. I have had multiple promises of emails following up the order but have had none. The past 2 days NO ONE is answering the phone! Looking at most of the reviews for this company they look fake. I am worried have been scammed out of £620. Of course, this negative review will be buried under more fake reviews!
