Good experience

After facing problems installing the eSIM I bought from a competitor which I will not name, and spending an hour with their helpline, I decided to try Airalo. Best decision ever: the eSIM installed like a breeze and the connection has been flawless. Very happy with the service provided by Airalo during my trip to China.
I recommend.

The installation process is not straightforward, at least on my Motorola Neo. Took 30 mins on chat to install. Same questions are repeated. Connection drops out and back again randomly. Thought my connection dropped because I ran out of data then topped up only for my total data available to be way more than I need and what was actually available. Data use/low level notifications would be useful.

Hard to connect but efficient once connected

OK coverage in large cities. Almost non-exsistent in western Canada and The Rockies. You better find a better network.

Easy to buy, install and activate. App is user friendly. Efficient support and service even just by AI Agent. Keep up with the good efforts!

What an absolute shambles. All I wanted was a data plan for Canada. I bought 30 g. For 30 days. I had a few issues initially which their chat sorted. Then it stopped working completely. 6 hours later on chat, still unresolved and they want me to buy more items. They got me connected (but replacing 20gb with 1gb). I said that this worked so please transfer my days and data but they refused to, offering a refund which is no good to me. I persisted but different agents take over the conversation and go through the same steps. They have the resolution but they won’t transfer data already paid for. Beware that they may say a country but will only offer one network provider within that country. Steer clear and never again

Download the app before going overseas.
Could not get it connected… followed all instructions several times. Can use hotel WIFI with no issues.
Will not use again..
Will get an ESIM on arrival at next country so provider connect it

Very happy with my eSIM

Stay far far away from Airalo, these people are crooks, plain & simply. I bought a plan, paid for it up front in good faith, & it never worked. I took it to two phone stores & they couldn't make it work either, even though it said it was installed & completed. When I asked for money back, they lied & said I used the phone for 2 days, when I was unable to make a single call. They have no customer service available even though they say "24-7," Impossible to speak to a live agent which further proves their deceptive disengenuous way of doing business. They are Nothing but crooks & liars. They are in the business of cheating hard working people out of their money without any avenue of recourse. What a horrible deceitful company.

Can't get the top up to work this time. Keeps saying I need QR code but I don't have one

Tested Airalo against Jetpac across Indonesia, Korea, China, HK, Macao, and Taiwan. Jetpac was cheaper, offered noticeably faster internet, and connected automatically without requiring any manual setup at each border cross. Airalo constantly required manual switching. Jetpac is hands down the easier and better value option.

Airalo is very convenient, easy to use and very good price for international data roaming.

I was not able to install an use my eSIM. This is the first time it ever happens, Airalo is usually a seamless experience and this time it just didn’t worked. Paid for the service but wasn’t able to activate. Had to pay for another vendor.

Setting up was quick and easy ,instructions were clear and having data away from home is price less
