Poor driver standards

Just because you drive too fast into a bend in a two lane road doesn't give you the right to sound your horn because I look to keep in my lane. To avoid collision forced me into oncoming direction of travel but thankfully nothing in those lanes.

Screed supply in Devon

I was doing a screed install in Devon where I had pre booked the screed with another company who had let me down last minute.
I rang several different companies before getting hold of Judy at Aggregate Industries and they couldn't have been more helpful. priced it, booked me a slot, took payment and turned up on time as promised. I will definitely use them again.

As a whole A I are a good well run…

As a whole A I are a good well run company, material is normally perfect, the only thing that loses them down as from a haulier point is the there is no where to sweep or wash out as there is with other companies such as Tarmac, you are forced by weighbridge bullies to go find a layby and sweep into there not sure what they expect you to do with sweepings as you can't bin them as classed as commercial waste and can't sweep on floor or classed as fly tipping, so please make some ruling for the sake of the people doing the job to get your product out to you customer

Sue and Graham were great.

My experience is not about Aggregate Industries products but my Father, he passed away whilst employed by Aggregate Industries.

When he passed they phoned myself and the family up to see if we were alright, a few of them attended the Funeral and wake, and they made sure we got the work related life insurance, I didn't have to do anything really, Sue and Graham sorted pretty much everything. In times like that it really meant a lot.

A company happy to devastate a person’s life

One of the London Concrete drivers ran over me back in 2015, I was cycling to work and the driver attempted to do a forbidden 3 point turn in a junction in London, I was left in a coma for 12 weeks, spent 6 weeks in the hospital and 2 years recovering, my knee was completely destroyed, I got permanent damage and horrific scars all over my body, what did London concrete and Aggregate Industries do? Delay and deny liability as much as they could, they did everything in their hands to give me the smallest settlement possiboe and never even got an apology from the company or the driver, I was only 30 at the time of the accident, they destroyed my life and im devastated struggling to walk more than 10 minutes, this company is run by ruthless greedy people, not
sure how they get away with ruining people's lives like this.

Aggravate Industries!!!

Aggravate Industries!!! Travelling on the m3 at 10pm on 31st July one of your vehicles had not got its load properly secure. Chippings flying out of the back of one of your lorries resulting in several large chips in my windscreen (and probably the same on several other vehicles on the m 3 too.) Couldn't get the registration number of your lorry as it was in a filthy state with mud and dirt obscuring the number plate. Could not give it no stars on trustpilot.

MESSAGE TO THIS NEGLIGENT COMPANY. CLEAN YOUR VEHICLES AND SECURE YOUR LOADS!!!

Was treated really well

This company supplied me, an individual, with very small quantity of goods. The courier they chose was very helpful. I did contact them to get an update and experienced a really good customer service.

Excellent all round…. Thank you.

Bradstone Pauta Mid Grey porcelain paving

I had my rear garden landscaped with Bradstone Pauta Mid Grey porcelain paving, these slabs are supposed to have a speckled effect to mimic natural granite and because they are made from porcelain they are non porous so much easier to keep clean.

However, after the landscaper had finished the job I noticed that some of the paving slabs had dark grey blemishes (the size of a thumb print) in exactly the same place on several slabs and upon inspection, this defect or similar is apparent on approximately 50% of slabs. Bradstone were contacted, who have stated that this is blemish/fault is intentional.
From my point of view, these blemishes/manufacturing faults look like stains hence my patio looks dirty all the time, which defeats the object of choosing porcelain paving.

Until Bradstone rectify the issue with their moulds I would not recommend that anyone buy Bradstone Pauta Mid Grey Porcelain paving, but this is just the opinion of a very unhappy customer who has just wasted 8.5k.

Poor product and customer service

I purchased the Bradstone Peak Smooth slabs which were used for a utility area, pathway and patio. The Bradstone website says this is a utility slab that is 'a tough, hard-wearing and low-cost paving solution'. The slabs have been laid less than 1 week ago and are already stained by common things such as bird and cat mess, leaves and soil. The slabs (in the utility area and pathway) have been cleaned with soapy water as well as a jet-wash but the stains do not shift and seem to now be permanent. In fact the slabs look much older than 1 week old. This is not a 'tough, hard wearing' quality slab as advertised. A utility slab should be hard wearing enough to withstand common 'mess' and be able to be cleaned. These slabs cannot be cleaned and are therefore not durable. The slabs are not fit for purpose and not as advertised.

In addition, as a utility slab I would expect there to be some different grey shading, however many of the slabs show 6 or 7 different shades of grey, beige and brown. Bradstone's own website depicts a slab that is 1 or 2 shades of grey, so once again the slab is not as advertised.

I am severely disappointed with this product. The slabs are not fit for purpose and will have to be taken up and a different, more durable, better quality and hard wearing slab be put down. Bradstone has a duty of care here to provide a quality product as advertised, however in this instance this has not been achieved.

Bradstone customer services have washed their hands of this and copped out with a poor response (Efflorescence excuse that I have heard before). This is simply not a quality product even for a utility area. Do not buy any of Bradstone's products, because quite simply they are not up to the job.

very poor service

ordered paving slabs through B & Q for a memorial area for our late daughter so her young son could plant things for his mummy, after 5 failed delivery dates had to go to B & Q CEO office who got this sorted for us, aggregate completely messed this project up as the men we had booked to do the job can no longer do it as fully booked so now we have to find someone else to help us, they have turned a beautiful project into a nightmare we are so upset about this and will not be ordering anything more from them.
