Paid for a repair, it wasn't cheap and when the engineer came they did nothing. Very poor communication by the AEG worker who obviously had no idea what he was doing. When I contacted them, put me on... See more

AEG AFTERCARE BRILLIANT
Absolutely totally honest company and would not go anywhere else for Kitchen appliances
Have had my money for months
They use Arrow xl to deliver which meant after a month if several cancellations i still didnt have my item. I was promised a refund within 5 working days. Now on day 17 I am out of pocket by thousands! AEG are thieves and won’t return my money. Empty promises and waffle on the whatsapp chat, no money in my bank!
Good quality and friendly service
Great communication and quick replacement of item damaged during delivery.
Good quality for good price and warranty.
oven great ! installation not so and grill only works with closed door
they could not install the oven ( check your circuit breaker got to be 16amp mine was 40amp ) which wasn't great , but I was refunded the installation and take away fee without a problem , the actual oven is really good so a happy baker I opted for the 3000 surroundcook self clean built in oven which has performed very well my only gripe is thst the grill can only be used with the door closed which kind of defeats the object of a grill ! , if the grill worked with the door open its 5 star but for the price im very happy with the performance
Atrocious service from AEG…
Having mostly a reliable kitchen of AEG appliances, we decided to upgrade our old tumble dryer with a new heat pump model from AEG. The order process was straightforward and appeared good value for money. Our problems started with the first delivery attempt which never happened with poor update from the courier company. When I complained the response was “you can cancel” which I duly did. I then went through 4 weeks of trying to get my money back with one particular so called customer service agent being incredibly rude and unhelpful. NEVER AGAIN will I buy from AEG. I have since bought through John Lewis who were the same money and delivered in 2 days. That’s service and how a brand should be represented.
Premium Brand, Third-Rate Service: AEG's Installation Partner Left My Kitchen Worse Than They Found It
I purchased an AEG microwave on the understanding that Kaboodle, as AEG/Electrolux's designated installation partner, would provide professional installation. What I received was an object lesson in how a premium brand's service promise can collapse at the point of delivery.
The installer arrived, assessed the situation, and promptly declared the job impossible—the microwave didn't fit. Fair enough; these things happen. What is not acceptable is what followed.
Rather than exercise even basic professional care, he shoved my old, non-functioning microwave back into place with all the finesse of someone dumping rubbish in a skip. The unit now sits crooked and conspicuously out of alignment in what was previously a well-maintained kitchen. His parting advice? "Get a kitchen fitter"—delivered with the dismissive air of someone who'd already mentally clocked off, punctuated by the charming observation that "I'm not getting paid now."
Let me be clear about what AEG's chosen installation partner has left me with:
A non-working microwave, crudely reinstalled and now an eyesore in my kitchen—a visible daily reminder of this debacle.
A brand-new AEG microwave in a box, which I now have the pleasure of arranging installation for myself, despite installation being part of the purchase proposition.
I chose AEG precisely because I expected a certain standard—not just in the product, but in the entire customer experience. Instead, the company you've entrusted with your installation service has delivered something so perfunctory and careless that it has actively created more problems than it solved. The installer's conduct suggested he viewed customer satisfaction as an optional extra rather than a baseline professional standard.
When you buy a premium appliance, you reasonably expect that the associated services will reflect that positioning. Kaboodle's performance falls so far short of this expectation that it actively damages AEG's brand in the customer's eyes. When things go wrong—and they will occasionally—you want partners who solve problems rather than ones who walk away leaving customers worse off than when they arrived.
This is not the standard I expected from an AEG purchase, and I would urge the company to reconsider whether Kaboodle represents the quality of service your brand deserves to be associated with.
Once a great company now an absolute…
Once a great company now an absolute shambles where nobody takes responsibility.
Ordered 3 home appliances and its been a mess from start to finish.
The logistics company attempt to deliver your items from 6:00 am but turn up at 5:10AM drive past and send a text to say failed delivery.
You register warranties and call customer services offshore who are frankly inept. The basics of even pulling up account details on a call took nearly 40 minutes.
Quality of Products
I have a hob, microwave and dishwasher all on the higher end of the ranges all of which are showing signs of wear after 3 months of basic use.
The dishwasher is now faulty after 6 months of use and booking a warranty appointment has been a nightmare.
Products were registered warranty appointment booked an confirmed with the correct address. Day of Engineer visit from Pacifica arrival 830AM. Great. Come 830 another text message nope we will turn up between 1-3PM.
Come 3PM they turn up at previous address where I registered a product 8 years ago!
Brand new cooker
Brand new cooker, faulty thermostat.
Unbelievable.
The part ordered originally was incorrect.
The engineer came on the 15th December with the new oven thermostat. What a Faff!
He said we had a leak on the meter, which my husband checked who is a gas engineer with 30 years experience. My husband said it was within the limits.
I asked if he was going to fit the part and he said no. I said is it simply because you can't be bothered.
He replied that it was a 5 second job. By this time I was furious and told him to go.His attitude wasn't professional.
Five minutes later he returned and said he had spoken to his boss and he advised to fit the part. This job which was supposed to take 5 seconds took over 50 minutes!!!
He did apologise but the whole experience was awful. I felt so stressed and upset.
I will never again buy anything manufactured from AEG(Eloctrolux) and would certainly never recommend.
Washing machine failed in warranty and not repaired after 7 weeks
Washing machine failed after 3 years. it has a 5 year warranty, 7 weeks later we remain without a washing machine. We were told parts were "on the way" then told 3 weeks later they are "out of stock".
Poor quality machine but even worse service.
Our previous machine lasted 15 years by another supplier.
Great Appliances, Appalling App.…
We replaced the cheap washing machine that was provided by the house builder with the more expensive 8000 series washing machine and 9000 series tumble drier.
We have had these machines for a year now. Both machines are very good quality and we are very happy with them on the whole. However, the biggest problem is the AEG App. Three of the programmes can ONLY be accessed via the App. The problem is the App is TERRIBLE. It is so un user friendly, so illogical and so unnecessary.
You have to be there to insert the clothes into the washer or drier so there is no advantage to a programme solely accessible via the App.
When you use the App it tells you to push the Remote button on the machine. The App then tells you you can’t use the App because you have pushed a button on the machine. Completely illogical.
In summary, the machines are 5 star and the App is 0 stars. AEG, you have some serious work to do on that App.
Expensive Freezer repair with no resolution in sight
Paid £179 upfront for an AEG freezer repair. An engineer attended but no repair was completed and no confirmed diagnosis was provided. After that, there was no follow-up communication — I had to chase repeatedly for updates.
I was eventually told the required part is out of stock with only a vague, non-guaranteed estimate, leaving me without a freezer for weeks, including over Christmas, despite having paid in full.
The only resolution offered was to wait indefinitely or accept a partial refund that effectively charges £80 for being told the freezer is broken. Polite staff, but poor service, poor communication, and very poor value. Would not use AEG again.
Update: its the end of Feb and they still haven't fixed it, or done anything to resolve the situation.
Very very poor customer service
Very very poor customer service.
So never trust to purchase anything from them. Soon you pay, good luck to receive your item and so on.
They never delivered my hub as they forgot about it but never took a responsibility either.
AEG : A waist of time.
Very disappointing experience with AEG…
Very disappointing experience with AEG online. Two days of frustration. Found the induction hob I wanted on the AEG website, tried to buy it but I couldn't add the installation service. Tried the virtual chat - didn't help; tried the phone line and though the website said 0 minutes waiting time I didn't get a call back until the next day! Whatsapp support was much more successful and the advisers really did try to help (and why this review is 2 stars vs 1). Turned out the hob I wanted was only available through retailers (so why is it on the website?!) - they offered me a discount on a different hob for all the problems I'd had, but then couldn't add the installation service to the quote. After several to and fro with whatsapp and endless hours spent - it turns out they don't offer the installation service in my area - despite the fact it says they do on the website and advisers say they offer it throughout mainland UK. Very disappointing. Be very careful if you choose to buy through the AEG website. Thanks to the whatsapp advisers for trying.
We wish you a merry Christmas & a happy new dishwasher
I bought an AEG dishwasher Dec. 2023, it hasn't been great but the latest trouble is beyond the joke.
The dishwasher started to flood on 22.11.25. The next available slot for an engineer was Thursday 27 Nov. The engineer was brilliant, super helpful and said he would have to order some parts and come back the following week. When he came back on Thursday 4 December he told me there were further problems and would have to be completely replaced.
As we were in December, I was concerned about resolving the issues before Christmas. I was assured most confidently by AEG that I would definitely have a shiny new dishwasher by Christmas and not to worry. I realise now, I should have queried which Christmas we were talking about.
I'll spare you the details of the numerous phone calls and empty promises. We had family over for Christmas and new year, so that's washing up for nine people at least.
I'm sitting here today on Friday 9 January 2026 and as a 'priority' I'm scheduled to have the new machine installed on Friday 16 January! Lucky me.
What I can tell you in all of this, is that absolutely nobody gives two hoots about the problem. I wish I had cut my losses, bought a new one at the beginning of this sorry saga and it would have been installed and happy Christmas!
My advice is to think twice before you buy your shiny new AEG products and take out a ‘warranty’ - and I do use that word very loosely.
I'm not optimistic that the machine will materialise and of course everyone I speak to is very sorry but they are not into week 7 of hand washing every meal time dish in a family of 6!
Excellent service and communication.
Excellent service and communication.
I bought a tumble dryer directly through AEG for a very good price and was kept up to date with the order status via emails. The delivery through the courier they used was also good
Horrible customer service experience.
My appliance was delivered with incorrect shelf supports. The oven itself appears to be very good, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I called the support number and was held in a queue and informed of a 10 minute wait. I took the option to have a call back when I reached the front of the queue. I waited for an hour then tried the web chat which went around the houses and told me to contact customer services! Next I went on WhatsApp chat, an hour later I was informed the the replacement part would be delivered in 10 working days. No offer to deliver next working day even though it was an AEG problem.
Earlier I called a number to register for a free extended warranty. The call was answered straight away, but the operator spent most of the time trying to sell me extra insurance cover. Yet as soon as I need to talk to someone about a problem it becomes nearly impossible to get anyone. Funny that isn't it.
I've had AEG products for years and always found them to be good, but the current situation with customer service is detrimental to the brand. I will consider other appliances in future.
Love AEG appliances
We got a new kitchen and as part of that chose AEG appliances. 2 x Pyro Clean Ovens, Induction hob and Integrated Dishwasher. Love all the appliances but in particular the performance of the Dishwasher is top notch. Great tech!
Says on retailers site 5 years warranty
Bought this rather expensive washing machine.AEG LFSR74144UD 10KG
Can't fault the machine, cleans very well , very quiet.
But after registering the warranty states 1 year which is different to retailers description.
Tried contacting AEG customer service and that says it all.
Haven't been able to speak to anyone on phone or live chat
Have requested email from AI chat won't give it to me.
If this is how customer service is going by using a useless computer program, God help us
Update 12 January multiple emails ignored and you can't speak to customer service on phone or live chat
Considering how much the machine was this is terrible though price should never influence how good/bad service is.
Update 14 January
Finally got through to customer service via phone( I'm a lot older due to wait times!)
Very helpful checked warranty period and updated my account with correct period.
Have changed to 3 stars because when connected to customer service they were
Very helpful as they have been in the past, which was main reason for getting the product.
It shouldn't have been necessary to query warranty their website should have known the correct term.
Rusty Screws after just 18 months of use!
I purchased a Microwave combi-oven and Steam oven over 2 years ago from AEG at a cost of over £1500. Our new appliances were installed with our new fitted kitchen 18 months ago. I contacted AEG as the internal screws had gone very rusty. They response was astonishing. They said this was due to the chemical effects of water and improper use!
(Both items are self-clean)
Also, they stated it was due to cooking or using strong acidic foods, hard water, using chlorine containing detergents, (which I have not), 'floating rust' induced by household plumbing!
My previous appliances were great for many years so why have the screws rusted in such a short space of time?
I sent an email stating my disappointment and Janet the Senior Case manager just happily confirmed that my appliances are out of warranty as they are registered from 'point of purchase' and not 'installation' and she reiterated that the cause was in her opinion 'Damage caused by chemical, electro chemical effects of water or improper use. It would have been nice for a small gesture of good will from them as opposed to their lengthy emails, which in my opinion were more or less giving excuses and stating 'not our problem'.
I feel this compromises my safety and structure of the appliance. Surely, they should have used corrosion resistant screws. I believe they are inadequate. Cheap and not coated which has lead to early failure.
AEG you’ve let us down
I ordered an oven on 2/12/2025 to be delivered by a company arranged by AEG and I am still waiting for it AEG are not taking any responsibility despite being the suppliers and do not get back to emails or the phone call back service
