Took two weeks to deliver a frost free fridge freezer. Great product and the fitting was also amazing, but much slower than other companies. However, other companies like AO are way more expensive once you look into their prices fully including delivery and fitting. So AEG direct is fine as long as you can wait a little bit longer.

I needed to send a lot of information, pictures and videos about the appliance, but the engineer stated he isn't able to access this data before visiting. If he had he would have brought the correct spare parts. Instead, he had to make another trip a week later to repair the appliance.

It's a good machine overall, I like how it senses the load and informs you if it's over the recommended weight for the selected programme. Quick wash works very well with the new Percil quickwash liquid detergents. Good drainage/pump, washing never comes out damp, fast speed. It's not very good at managing unbalanced loads however, if you just wash a few clothes with one pair of jeans or one jumper it tends to rock a surprising amount just before going into full spin. Improved suspension and ability to level back feet from the front would make it a better machine

AEG turned out to be just one of a collection of 5 or 6 companies involved in an attempted repair and subsequent replacement of a hob. Nominal oversight and devolved responsibility led to a polite, corporate, but useless interaction. Complaints treated as Enquiries by the same staff. Apparently delays of 10 days are in the small print. Make that clear in the large print!

A great visit

I was promised a replacement item that did not materialise for my new cooker. I had to re- initiate the replacement through a not straightforward process.

My AEG washing machine broke down. I used AEG's fixed-price repair service. This was a good decision, as the fault was a non-obvious one. The engineer had to return 3 times to fix it over a period of 2 weeks, but he worked methodically & succeeded in the end. I was happy with the service provided and recommend it.

It's a great washing machine backed by a company you can trust.

The problem is still unresolved but the engineers were polite.

The Fridge Freezer was repaired successfully however it was disappointing that the product failed just a few weeks after the expiration of the warranty.

The faulty product gets sorted out if it can’t repaired it would get replaced soon as possible.

Engineer very good but enable to remedy faults. New appointment promised but still waiting after 3 weeks

The engineer from AEG turned up and basically said that the door was at the correct angle and tried two new hinges which left the door at the same angle as previously. I showed him the photos of the AEG oven in the show home which had been taken by Claire Dempster which showed the oven door at a completely lower angle to that on my oven. The AEG engineer said that whilst this was a double oven like mine it was obviously a different model. This does not make any sense whatsoever. Why would there be a difference in the door angle no matter what model of AEG oven it was. I am still unhappy with this and would preferably like the option of having a completely different oven as the issue has not been resolved.
