Really poor experience for my small…
Really poor experience for my small business. Hard to use and poor results.
Deeply Frustrated with Google Ads Support – A Serious Issue for Agencies
As a Google Partner agency, we've submitted hundreds of support tickets over the years — and unfortunately, our experience has consistently been disappointing.
Most support interactions feel like a loop of scripted responses, often with representatives who have extremely thick accents that make communication difficult and frustrating. Worse, there's a recurring pattern of not actually resolving the issue at hand. Many tickets are simply echoed back to us without any real resolution or insight.
Even more troubling: numerous tickets have gone completely unanswered. This leaves us in a very difficult position with our clients. We’re constantly assuring them that any issues will be resolved within 3–5 working days — because that’s the standard we expect from Google. But in reality, we often wait much longer, or get no response at all, which damages our reputation and credibility as a certified partner.
The lack of follow-through and accountability from Google Ads support is honestly humiliating. We’ve had to chase down escalations for basic technical problems or policy clarifications that should’ve been resolved in one call or email.
For a company of Google’s scale — and for those of us who are investing in and promoting your ecosystem — this level of support is unacceptable. Things need to change. We want to work with Google, not feel like we’re battling its own internal systems just to do our jobs.
NO responsive customer support
I've been running Google Ads for a couple of years now, and it feels like their customer service has gone downhill. They’ve outsourced support to some Indian companies, and the experience has been really frustrating. While AI has advanced significantly, Google’s support hasn’t kept up with the current standards in the market. It ends up being a waste of time, money, and adds a lot of unnecessary stress.
Monopoly That Hurts Small Businesses – Google Ads Has Become Mentally & Financially Draining
As a small business owner, I feel completely broken by the experience with Google Ads. What was once a tool to help businesses grow has now become a monopoly that destroys small businesses without warning or explanation.
Our Google Ads account was suspended more than 8 months ago, and till today, we haven’t received a clear reason or guideline on how to fix the issue. We rebuilt our entire website from scratch, deleted 1000+ pages, removed all third-party tools like AdSense, updated all policies, changed servers, and even completed account verification – still, the account remains suspended with only copy-paste replies from support.
There is no customer support. You can’t talk to a real person, and emails are just auto-replies. No dedicated ad specialist, no phone call, no genuine help. Just a robotic system that keeps rejecting appeals without telling you why.
This is not just a technical issue anymore – it’s a mental and financial burden. Our business relies entirely on Google Ads. Due to the suspension, we've lost all traffic, our employees are sitting idle, loans are piling up, and we’re on the verge of shutdown. The emotional stress, anxiety, and pressure is something only a small business owner can understand.
It feels like Google is running a monopoly, where big-budget advertisers are supported, but small businesses with ₹500–1000/day budget are ignored and crushed without a second thought.
Google’s unfair policies, zero transparency, and lack of human support is a serious concern. If Google truly wants to support small businesses, it needs to review its suspension policies and offer real, human support, not automated systems that destroy livelihoods.
If you’re a small business considering Google Ads – please think twice. Once suspended, you may lose everything without even knowing why.
Support is non-existent
Support is non-existent. Reps will harass you and your clients. They are absolutely the Mafia of the advertising world and I hate dealing with them. I've been working with them for the past 15 years and it has gotten worse every single year.
Been working with Google for 20+ years...
I've been working with Google for 20+ years...and I've never seen a company get worse with every year. Costs are skyrocketing, "real" support is nonexistent, recommendations are way off for the needs of our clients. In the "old" days, a call or a chat resulted in a resolution. Now, all the call or chat does is offer a long wait time and then a canned response that clearly doesn't address the issue. Local Service Ads used to be a great program, paying ONLY for qualified leads.
Now, their AI marks all calls as qualified and costs are getting out of hand. They made this change according to them in the name of "fairness" so the clients that didn't pay attention and dispute bad leads would also get credits. Google is still a necessary evil for our clients but it comes with great frustration and diminishing results.
Google Ads - A Great Way to Lose Money
Google Ads is really going downhill fast. Performance on both the front and back end has been abysmal for more than a year. A $40 CPC for Brand keywords, when there is no competition is highway robbery!
We are now spending more money per month with Bing.
Wish i could give 0 stars
Wish i could give 0 stars. I gave them my info and they spammed me a bunch of useless info of how to contact chat support (the place im already at).
Two reps cut me off Fau and Roy, Morons incapable of doing anything.
Complete lack of support
I reached out to Google in October for help. They helped me set up an ad, that I thought I ended in January (It clearly says paused on my end). Turns out they set it up another ad under another client's account and I couldn't see it so I'm now out nearly $700 to reimburse the client. I have no idea how it got attached to the other client. I've reached out and have gotten zero help via email and was hung up on on the phone.
Google Local Service Ads - poor service from Google
Google offers local services ads and contracts with EvidentID for background checks.
I received a cleared background (no surprise!) and yet Google said to do it again. So what is missing? I passed or I didn't.
Upon calling, my case was sent to the escalation team. Result - they can't do anything (or is it that they can't be bothered).
I am fully in favor of verification and background checks. But what should be a 30 day process is approaching 90 days.
A a former Premier Partner, I find is interesting that this team can't assist. When I was managing millions of dollars of ad spend, issues were resolved very quickly. Money talks.
I can't recommend Google Local Service Ads to anyone. The backend problems that they have are not worth the effort and time expended to try to resolve this.
The offer sounds good but in reality, it is just an exercise in the blame game.
The CPCs are decreasing lately
The CPCs are decreasing lately, and to get in touch with a human is impossible... quite bad, I used to like them.
Google Smart Campaigns aren’t smart at all…
According to a recent Google smart Campaign I received 125 clicks in 8 days. According to my website analytics I received 16 clicks from search engines and websites IN A WHOLE MONTH. Something isn’t adding up. And they are overcharging me.
Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking, we have third party software monitoring clicks, it say 7 clicks Google says 27? Don’t use they are thieves.
Customer services are even worse. They just answer a question with a question….
fake Clicks counts millions of dollars…
fake Clicks counts millions of dollars from us..
No footfall in store but clicks 🤑
des voleurs!!!!
You have no shame stealing from people!!! I started with a limit of $20 a day and in 8 days you stole nearly $4000 from me and it continues because as you are thieves you launch automatic campaigns without anyone noticing.......... I would never have believed that a big company like Googl would be obliged to steal from poor people to get rich. Go to hell with your unfair practices!!!
Extremely Disappointing Google Ads Support
The support provided by Google Ads is downright disappointing. The support team appears to lack any real knowledge of technical assistance or the Google Ads interface itself. It seems that the employees often don't know what they're doing and struggle to provide answers to even basic questions.
The support team is outsourced to a company called Teleperformance, located in Barcelona. They mainly recruit young people looking for a temporary experience abroad, combining work with enjoying the city. Most employees stay for just 3 to 5 months, which negatively impacts the continuity and quality of support.
When you truly need assistance, you end up feeling that the call has added little to no value. Even basic tasks, such as properly implementing a tag for conversion data, seem too complicated for the support team to handle.
My advice is to invest in specialized SEO and SEA companies with proven experience in Google Ads, rather than relying on the official support. The support provided via Teleperformance is utterly substandard, which is why I am giving just one star.
worst service EVER
worst service EVER. Google isn't employing any Americans? Really?
Their "onboarding" is rushed and doesn't provide even half the info you need. When you try to contact them later it is five thousand ways to pass the buck to someone who doesn't care. What a joke!
And then the king of business reviews doesn't provide a platform for their own reviews? ridiculous.
Estafa
Mas de 1300 clicks entre google ads y youtube ads, 0 ventas, es estadisticamente imposible, normalmente hay un 3-5% de ventas por click, y aqui no llega ni al 0.1%
They are just charging for nothing now
They are just charging for nothing now. I get so many totally irrelevant phone calls and nonsense contacts. I am going to curtail totally my google ads. T
No longer working as it is before
No longer working as it is before. They are destroying peoples businesses and livelihood.
If i have a power in high position in google, i will fire all the managers.
They advised me to spend about £4 per click. However, non of my competitors were willing to even spend £1 per click. if there are no competitors, why not lower the per click price?
If i choose to lower my per click price, they punish me by not showing my ads at all, even though no any competitor advertised. Very strange.
I know that nothing we can write here that will ever touch google mind. I cant wait to see an alternative to google.
