Very easy to arrange the appointment. I had to reschedule and that was easy too. The assessment was very thorough and Lisa was knowledgeable, patient, kind and helpful. I felt seen and understood. I am not exploring medication yet so I can't comment on that but I would recommend ADHD Certify for a comprehensive assessment.

Total cost are unclear, your GP may not accept this
Something you need to be aware of with ADHD Certify. Whilst they are good at communication, there are a few things that were unclear while signing up.
1. The £495 is your initial assessment
2. The full shared care agreement, as has become clear after signing up, will cost in the £1,000 - £2,000 range post stabilisation period
3. I and others have found it very hard to find a GP that will accept ADHD Certify as a legitimate assessor, so you need to check this first
4. If you discover this after signing up, you won't get a refund on your initial fee

We'd like to add some clarification for anyone reading, as our pricing and terms are set out in full on our website and agreed before booking.
The £495 covers the initial assessment. Ongoing treatment — titration, medication and regular reviews — is charged separately, and this is published on the website: https://adhdcertify.co.uk/adhd-medication-journey-guide/
On shared care: whether a GP takes this on is always the GP's own decision, and practices across the UK frequently decline it — including under Right to Choose and for NHS-run services, not only for us. This reflects NHS funding and workload pressures (GPs aren't paid any extra to take on shared care, and it costs them more), and has no bearing on our legitimacy as a CQC-regulated provider or the quality of our assessments. We understand that this can feel frustrating, so we always recommend checking your GP's position early, and we're happy to provide whatever information a practice needs.
Regarding fees: as our terms and conditions make clear, and as agreed at the point of booking, assessment fees are non-refundable.
We're confident in the transparency of our pricing and the quality of our service, and we're always happy to talk things through. Please contact us at support@adhdcertify.co.uk.

Fade is absolutely brilliant, She has been helping us for the last year after a private diagnosis, and follow up medication reviews. Nothing is a problem, and she puts my daughter at ease during appointments, Which is not an easy task usually!

Very quick wait times (especially compared to NHS but generally lots of availability anyway). Matched me with an ideal assessor who was very friendly and authentic, allowing me to open up fully on assessment.
Report very detailed and although there was quite a lot of repetition in there, some great info included. Lots of support included which I've not yet looked into but the letter for work is useful so I don't have to produce it myself.
Thanks - have recommended to a friend as the process has been very good.

I am very disappointed with the service…
I am very disappointed with the service provided. After paying close to £700 with the expectation of receiving clear answers for my daughter Sannah, the final conclusion was exactly what I had anticipated from the outset. Writing an extensively long email to me does not signify a thorough or meaningful assessment, and the outcome did not reflect the consistent developmental and behavioural evidence observed at home.
I deeply regret not waiting to use Diverse Diagnostics instead. The level of attention to detail, and genuine support I have consistently received from Diverse Diagnostics has been outstanding. Their staff are fantastic, patient, patient‑focused, and demonstrate a clear commitment to understanding each child and adult as an individual. In comparison, this reassessment from ADHD certify offered little value and did not justify the significant cost.
Overall, the experience has been disappointing and did not meet the standard expected for the fee paid.

ADHD Certify is fantastic!
I have been on the NHS waiting list for 4 years only to receive a letter telling me they were cutting the ADHD & Autism service for where I live so I did a lot of research into private companies and ADHD certify were the ones that stood out the most for me. They weren’t as expensive as a lot of the other companies and it worked out even better because it could be done remotely. You choose your own therapist which made the process a lot easier. I even got £50 off which was a bonus. The call took around 90 minutes they are very thorough. I’ve known all my life I was different so when Lisa from ADHD certify said the words out loud, it finally hut me that it wasn’t in my head and that I do have ADHD. The process couldn’t have been any smoother. Lisa was lovely, attentive & really worded the questions well. Any question I was unsure of I just had to say and she’d reword the phrase. If you are thinking on going private ADHD certify are the folks for you. Thank you for giving me the clarity to now no longer feel embarrassed of saying I have ADHD without feeling like a fraud or a burden. This diagnosis has meant everything to me, as soon as I got off the phone I burst into tears because I didn’t know how to process it finally making sense! Thanks again to Lisa Smith you were amazing!

ADHD Certify has been so good to use! I’ve had 2 different practitioners since my ADHD diagnosis and both have been outstanding! I’m currently with Robin and she is wonderful and supportive! The admin staff are also fantastic and their response time is quick, I do not feel that I am left waiting for a response and they will put the work in for you especially with things like shared care or getting an NHS stamp of approval! If I would give them 100 stars if I could! The price of medication is beyond their control but that is the only thing that is a bit of an issue!

I had such a positive experience with the assessor Carlye Mc Cracken. Very understanding and easy to talk to, but felt thorough at the same time.
Would defiantly recommend the service and already have.

Absolutely amazing caring and thorough service! Robin was soo calm and understanding. I was extremely nervous! She explained alot to me and ive always wondered why others dont go through the same emotional situations I do. Now I understand my combined ADHD and ive been invited for an Autism assessment too as they picked up on that too! I would definitely recommend! I got an appointment within a week and diagnosis within the following week then medication 2 weeks later but I could have had it earlier i just needed time to process so they understood that too! Just had my assessment and diagnosis at the ripe old age of 60😻 . I had my appointment with the lovely and very patient (I am deaf) Mr Thomas .
He was very nice and put me at ease throughout the whole process.
Honestly if you have any thoughts that you may be ADHD and feel that you are getting too old to go for diagnosis! Believe me you are not and you can look at yourself with a different and caring attitude instead of punishing yourself for not being like other people.
ADHD Certify are amazing.
So what have you got to lose, go and claim your self as you are meant to be and not thinking that you are lazy, too much or just ditsy !
