It's a great app for kids to learn and a great app for parents to keep up with what they are doing with their money

The app is good overall but the app does not allow the parent to review chores that were completed weeks prior and it’s a hassle when transferring big amounts of money to my child’s card.

My boys are enjoying getting paid for chores and when they want to use there money we have no issues. There are no hidden fees like busy kid which is who we switched from. They would use there card for busy kid to buy roblox and the transaction would not go through but busy kid would still take the money and we wouldn't get it back. Acorn does not do that. Also they have savings goals they can set my teen has really enjoyed that. The boy also really like being paid to learn about how to budget and handle money with their lessons.

Love this app for my boys. Keep them doing their chores. Also when visiting placing out eating or even shopping. They have their money to use for what they want from what they earn for the week.

The fees are ridiculous and for kid accounts?

Reply from Acorns Early
Hard to set up, not intuitive, overly complicated overall. Very slow to transfer funds, rendering it almost useless. Somehow accounts got mixed up and my child has access to my bank account and has been transferring funds to herself. Not easy to figure out how to fix. Wish I never started it.
