Repairing an Access Garage Door
We have had Access Garage Doors for a good number of years. The equipment is of a good quality. However, today the garage door got stuck open so I called them to come and repair it. Today is August 28, 2026. They said they could not send out a service engineer until mid October 2026, so from a service point of view I would avoid this company. This is the second time they have failed to provide emergency servicing.

While we provide repairs and servicing, we don’t operate an emergency call-out service and, during particularly busy periods, our engineers can be fully booked some weeks ahead. Unfortunately, this means there are occasions when we simply cannot attend as quickly as a customer needs us to. We completely understand that in your circumstances the wait we offered wasn’t suitable, and we’re sorry we weren’t able to help you on this occasion.

Even where an adjustment can be completed quickly, the charge also covers the engineer’s travel, time and expertise, along with the costs involved in providing the service. In many cases, the right experience is what allows an issue to be identified and resolved efficiently. We hope you’re pleased that the door is now working as it should.
Good but long wait
The fitter was good and knows his stuff. Unfortunately I had to wait 2 weeks for him to be available. When he did come he immediately knew the problem and all I had to do was fully open the door! This could have been advised over the phone.

Cantilever garage door
I enquired about a garage quote,was responded to promptly and an appointment booked.I was provided with a quote at the visit by a friendly assessor.There was no sales pressure just a courtesy call in a week. The payment projection was on the quote. The quote price was comparable to other quotes provided but less waiting so that was a contributing factor to choosing this company.Payment was a little confusing as in 3 parts and varied options how to pay.I think it would be better ,deposit and remaining balance ,this was managed once clarified.
I was very happy with the installation,only taking an hour (as I think my garage door fell out!)and the quality product which has made a real improvement to my garage.
