Had to wait 3 Hours, and counting to get a failed transaction reversed. Mind you, this complaint was lodged some days ago. It was not attended to.
I'm talking about ACCESS BANK Umunze. You can see that the Operational level here is desperately mediocre, sub-standard, and lackadaisical.
They don't think they should do any better, or that they are actually attending to people who are on the move.
I have to come here again today, and despite have tendered my complaint as it should be, after queuing, the issue is taking donkey years to get solved.
This Era has no space for such business practices.

The bank has very poor customer service culture that lack any consideration for customer satisfaction or quality of service they are rendering. They seemed to be interested only in deductions like card maintenance fees, alert fees and the likes.

PLC Bank - PLC Mortgage Don't Talk To Each Other
PLC Bank & PLC Mortgage don't communicate with each other, so attempting to go to brick and mortar to resolve mortgage issues is a dead end.
Online access is slow and cumbersome. Think website from 2005 and you get the idea.
Online banking access doesn't communicate with mortgage 'arm' either, so if you want to see if you have a pending mortgage payment, or want to schedule/reschedule, ain't gonna happen. Calling Customer Service means no access on a bad day, 60 minute wait on average during the week, or 10 minute wait if you're lucky. Once you speak with a REP, if they have an answer, brace for the red tape script.
PLC wasn't my choice for mortgage - my loan was assumed. BUT if you are in the market for a mortgage - go somewhere else.

Access bank Nigeria refused to increase my transfer limit and they never pick their calls , they will keep tossing customer up and down. I give you people -100/100.
Update, access bank later attended to my request and increased my limit in less than 24hrs on 11/8/24 . If they continue to work in this manner they will be rated 5 star by many.

Did not get needed information on the website, but got it explained by a rude customer service representative by phone. Very rude and uneducated woman. Why would you take such people to work? I don’t want to work with your bank anymore. Check who you’re employing better. Customer service should not be rude for no good reason.

Worst bank ever seen in my entire life. I have been asking for soft Token for more than three months. I live outside Nigeria and they have been asking me to bring all my documents which I have given to them.They said that my Nigeria passport is out of date, are you the immigration officer?.The country where I am now, the passport I sent there is in date. I don’t get it. The customer service is good but not active. I rest my case until I get to Nigeria any year and I will close the account.

I brought in some cash to be deposited and was directed to the bulk room.
There were 3 tellers in the bulk room but it seemed as if only one was working.
The lady with the glasses was the only one attending to customers while the other two were nonchalant.
The bank should look into it because this has been occuring for weeks now.
A shout-out to miss Anajekwu Chinonyerem for attending to customers wholeheartedly.
