Complete scammers!!!!

Complete scammers!!!!
They will not refund your deposit, you have to threaten them with police etc, but my advice is NEVER to book here, especially when you are not Spanish. They will make all kind of excuses and meanwhile steal your money! I have made a complaint with my credit card company and the police so they are not unnoticed.

And after they answer you saying they have the right to reserve the money, which they don’t do but take your money and not reserve it, the make excuses like below saying they have the right and that international payments etc take longer. Is all bullshit I checked with the credit card company and they say it can NEVER take more than 3 months to refund the deposit. So if you don’t say anything they will just steal your money hoping you will give up. It’s criminal and they should not be allowed to rent cars to foreigners anymore. I read other people have exactly the same experience. Up till now I didn’t receive anything yet, but because of the chargeback from my creditcard company I will receive it anyway. But be careful, because they are not reliable and even act arrogant when you say something! So completely unfit to treat customers, at least foreigners!!

Warning to non-Spanish citizens: Deposit scam

When I rented a car they asked for a 300 euro deposit. They told me (and it is stated clearly on their website) that deposits are returned in 3 to 5 working days. 20 days later I emailed asking why I had not received my deposit back. They said they need to hold my deposit for another 45 days "because you are a foreigner". In fact, it does say something in tiny tiny print on the rental contract about holding the deposit for 60 days IF you are a foreigner! This is unheard of in the rental car business.

When I told them that I would ask my credit card company to reverse the charge for fraud, they tried to threaten me back. Here is what they wrote:

This was a load of baloney designed to scare a foreigner. Here was how I replied:
"You told me when I rented the car that it would be 3 to 7 days, maybe a few more because it was an international card. This is what it says on your website. Now you are saying 45 or 60 days. I will be glad to explain all of this to the police. Have them call me at 61633*****. I am filing a report now."

A few minutes later they returned the deposit.

AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!
