Thought I was buying a really good bespoke hand made Neoprene collar.
My first issue was trying to get the code for 10%off first order, didn’t work. I wasn’t too worried , as I thought I was going to get a really good quality collar for my Labrador to wear in the water. The collar is actually a basic nylon collar with a strip of neoprene sewn on the top with a absurd label that also says handmade in UK . The neoprene length isn’t even cut straight at each end.
I also purchased a name disc and had it engraved, looking at the picture and price I expected the disc to be of very good quality! It rusted immediately after getting wet for probably only 5 minutes in water. The£ 2:99 name disc bought from eBay and is 4 years old has never rusted and has been out in the rain, in , rivers , lakes and the sea
This collar and name tag were very expensive and a complete waste of money. Totally disappointed in this purchase, not what I expected. Would not buy again or recommend. Also delivery took well over a week

Great product, great service

Very efficient service particularly as I wanted a specific length of lead that wasn't regular. High quality products and the neoprene collar is a favourite – soft, stylish and longlasting.

Love this collar. Well made, strong and sturdy and a great design. Also good that it's made from upcycled wetsuit material.

I emailed about an out of stock item, got a response the same day letting me know it was back in stock. Collar arrived quickly and is of great quality.

Really fantastic company. I sent an email enquiring about a custom dog treat bag and I'd received it before the week was out. Kate was really good at helping me decide which bag was right for me and the finished product is superb. I was particularly drawn to this bag over the many others on the market because of the snap closing/opening, I can get to a treat very quickly so I can immediately reward desired behaviour. This is the second collar that I have bought from Absurd and I love the neoprene range. Dora is a springer who loves water and this range of collars is perfect for her being made from recycled wetsuits. They wash really well. They also dry quickly so she is not stuck with wet canvas around her neck. And, the colours are so funky!!

I love the idea of recycling too. Delivery was very quick and I love the eco packaging too. I definitely buy from Absurd again!

We bought a fancy memory foam dog bed for my doggo. Unfortunately one of my kitties doesn't seem to like the dog or the bed. She likes to urinate on it as an act of defiance. The "supposed" dog bed liner that came with the bed is not waterproof (contrary to what they proclaim). After many times of soaking the memory foam and air drying it I decided to to upgrade Absurd's waterpoof liner. I could not have been more happy with this purchase. The sizing is perfecting. Getting it on and off is easy, it washes well, and it's water-proof. I should have bought this ages ago. Thank you for the speedy turn around time as well. Thumbs up from the dog and me.
