This is not my first review about Abri and just how awful they are!
For over 2 years now my family have been going through living hell due to our above neighbours and their noise abuse.
I wrote this around 18 months ago:
For the past 11 months my family having been dealing with NOISE ABUSE from the flat above ours. This flat is owned but Abri own the freehold. The owners moved out this property last year and started running it as an Airbnb which has had a massive impact on my family due Constant noise, morning noon and night. The property has Porque flooring throughout. Just normal walking around and conversations we can hear. The Airbnb has now seized due to me contacting Abri and having them remove it.
But since that point, the situation has become 1000 times worse. The owners clearly hate our family due to them losing so much income. And the people now living in there are harassing and intimidating us with this noise abuse Every single day and night.
They do this by continuously banging on the floor over and over again as well as what sounds like Stamping, dropping objects numerous times in a row and scraping furniture across the floor. They go to whichever room has any sort of noise being made (Which scares my children). If we put the TV on, they start banging, if we stop the TV to see what the noise is they stop, put the TV back on, they start again! They even stamp up and down the stairs outside our flat on numerous occasions throughout the Evenings. I have been contacting the police daily, sometimes 2 to 3 times. The police told me a few weeks back that this was harassment, but It is difficult to prove. So I also record in my property day and night with voice recordings and video recordings to capture any noise abuse and we can. I have contacted Abri lease whole team on numerous occasions and they tell me things are being dealt with by solicitors but we just have to continue living in these horrendous circumstances.
Earlier this year I had a huge mental health breakdown and almost killed myself due to this situation. I also self harm and skin pick because I can’t cope with the abuse we are receiving. I’ve begged Abri to move me and my family as we’ve had people threaten us and had people banging our door at 5am in the morning. I have four children which all becoming depressed and scared due to this daily abuse. My 11-year-old daughter no longer wishes to live in our home. She wants to move out and go and live with family.!
Again I’ve begged and begged for help and to be moved to be told I cannot be moved unless there’s a risk to life. I’ve told Abri “THERE IS A RISK YO LIFE”, there’s a real risk to me taking my own life! As once again, I am back in a very dark place and I am not coping with this abuse and nobody helping us.
I am under the care for doctor and mental health team and taking very strong medication due to the situation.
The last time I spoke to Abri, I asked if I could have somebody call me back to talk to me seriously about this situation as I don’t know where else to turn. The call handler told me.” Abri is just your landlord. They cannot help you move. They cannot help you with this situation if I want to be moved I need to go and put myself on the housing list.”
I can’t believe that Abri treats people this way, I thought they would help to safeguard their tenants, but clearly I’m wrong and extremely disappointed with this company.
Nobody should have to live this way, especially not children!

I’m at lost, hurt, confused, frustrated and ill because of my neighbours and this awful housing company!
Around six months ago, we had an external company come round to do sound testing which proved that there is a problem with the noise transfer between the properties. Even though that has been proven Abri still doing nothing to solve the problem in my property. All I get from them is that they are in discussion with the owners above and they can’t talk to me about it!
I don’t care what the neighbours have to say about the situation and what they are going to do about it. I want to know what Abri are going to do to fix the problem in my property.
How do you think it’s acceptable to leave people living in this manner? A family has been torn apart because of this situation and nobody actually seems to care. I refuse to allow my family to be put through this living hell any longer.
I have 3 people in my home now who are all suffering with depression because of this situation.
I want to answers, solutions and action to be taken now.
Abri housing need to fix the problem in my property or find us somewhere else to live. This is no longer acceptable!!

In our shed we had problems with lock for long time. Someone turned up but repair wasn't big success
And thank to Scott Boulton intervention-on 7th January turned up MARK.
Mark repaired our lock in just few minutes- screwdriver in his hand and there was no more problems!!!
In scale 1- 10 l would give him ( Mark) 11 points!!!😀

Mark, an Electrician, came to repair a faulty socket and I found him to be friendly and courteous. He quickly assessed the problem and explained what needed to be done. Mark carried out the repair efficiently and to a high standard. He tested the socket and made sure that it was working perfectly before he left. I was very impressed with Mark’s professional manner and attention to detail.

After making a serious complaint to our landlord's CEO about our residential caretaker who, while employed by Abri, was spreading lies and malicious gossip about us to other residents and Abri contractors (so violating his contract and Abri's privacy rules), the person originally assigned by the CEO's office to investigate this abuse by an Abri employee, now turns up at our front door insinuating that we are the issue because someone has made a false allegation (perhaps the abusive former caretaker himself) about the misuse of our crime prevention cameras protecting our flat, so flipping our serious complaint back against us. In other words, the person assigned by the CEO'S office to investigate the harassment against us is now himself harassing us by questioning our private cctv cameras, which is not his responsibility nor his job. His remit is only cleaning and maintenance as the Building Support Team Leader. Plus, he turned up with a colleague, who does the power washing, and should not have been privy to our confidential and private complaint. Why did Abri not honour the seriousness of our original complaint by having a senior manager with the appropriate skills set investigate our complaint, instead of downgrading it and handing it to their cleaning team who speciality is not dealing with serious criminal ASB.

Awful!! Ongoing issues with no direct contact for on going issues in the building. We have to wait weeks for work men to come to complete half a job.
Even with numerous complaints issues still have not been resolved with very little care to residents. Beyond frustrated with the customer care.
At no point does anyone take any accountability, and the residents are constantly chasing Abri.
When you reach out to the team the email chain is responded by another team member who seems to have no idea what is going on. Never seems to be anything on file and days are taken for a response once you submit your details despite being in an email chain.

Hanging a christmas wreath on a door is not a fire risk, liars. Ive just seen a few people's letters about you deciding that Christmas wreaths are banned and you will be ripping them down then charging your tenants for this lovely service. This is racist and Christianphobic. Have you banned all religious paraphernalia or just Christian ones? Sad sad state of affairs. Door wreaths hang on the top of the door so no trip hazard.

I had to phone the customer service department due to having payment issues and spoke to Isobel, she was wonderful and put me at ease, she was easy to speak to and dealt with my issue with understanding and kindness. I won't hesitate to call the office with any issues in the future
