AAA has actually became the worst automobile club in the world. I have been a member with AAA for 10 years and never used them for a tow and they would not tow my car because it was sitting in a mecha... See more

AAA is the best
I was in a pinch today as I did not want to walk down to Fred Meyer. Donna deserves to drive to my favorite Fred Meyer. I really appreciate the prompt service. I have had AAA premier since 1988.
Terrible Waiting 2 1/2 hours still waiting AAA…
Waiting 2 1/2 hours still waiting AAA lied twice about drivers and ETAs. Terrible..
Aaa will call you a tow but they are…
Aaa will call you a tow but they are not responsible apparently for the people that come and tow your car away and if they damage your car and you file a complaint with AAA, they'll send you from person to person to person giving you the runaround. They'll only tell you their claim was denied. You can have pictures prove otherwise that they did the damage by AAA will move all responsibility of liability for the fact that they pick the tow driver, the one who damaged your car and loading it up. Not to mention that the tow driver was almost an hour late which is pretty typical with AAA service. Plan on waiting for a good hour wherever you're at anytime. Just buyer beware when you get that card it's not quite all right and if you do get damaged it's up to you to go get a lawyer and sue the tow company because AAA is just a middleman. I don't appreciate him running me around and killing my time and then at the end of about an hour going for person to person they told me my claim had been denied. Seemed like they could have got to that pretty quick right up front but nobody can apparently read your file that they have on your account number no. No no not until you go through a bunch of hoops and then they dropped the call on you. Hoping that you will not call them back. They're a sad sad sick company. Probably should go out of business,
Tried a lot to contact but no reply
Tried a lot to contact but no reply. (I am trying from 2 days.) very poor customer service.
Member Deals are a scam!
Member Deals are a scam!
I ordered several tickets to a mini golf place through AAA member deals and could not use them because they close when the weather poses safety risks. The establishment offers refunds for this sort of cancellation, but AAA does not. Their team was robotic and super unhelpful, repeating over and over again that they don't offer refunds for "final sales". It's a scam and I won't be using member deals again. I've been a AAA member for about 20 years and find it's gone downhill, with the poor customer service pushing me over the edge. I will not be re-enrolling my membership and will make sure my family does the same.

I needed to talk to an agent to get my membership info corrected. I got "transferred" to no one and waited for 25 minutes before hanging up. Called back using the same number for customer service that's on my bill, card, etc. Got the exact same situation of being transferred to no one. Meanwhile, I created an online account (while on hold) and managed everything. Hung up again. Worst service.
AAA deserves negative star rating IMO
AAA deserves negative star rating IMO. I was a member for 13 years but cancelled my membership When they had my 81 year old grandmother sit on the side of the road for five hours with zero accountability.
AAA chose to leave us stranded
I called for assistance about 11am, your records will show. I was told a driver would be there about 12:30. I was then told the driver only works the Eastside. Another driver was assigned. I actually had a conversation with the driver and was told by him he was about 35 minutes away and would be there. About 40 minutes later I received 2 phone calls from AAA operators at the same time. I gave the location I was at, highway 138 (Avenue D), and 285th st west, Mangalore Drive. I was told a third vehicle was being dispatched. I received several phone calls throughout the day verifying our location, map grids, pictures of the cars only to be told at 5:30 that we could not be helped because we were off the paved highway, we were at the intersection of two county roads. To make matters worse with a family cold, hungry, in need of a restroom, and feeling unsafe in the location we were in I called a 24/7 towing company and was scammed out of $389.00 which they had me charge to a card and never showed up. A third company was called at a fee of $900.00 that came and picked us up in the dark, cold, rain. If AAA had told me they could not, would not, or just didn't want tohelp us at 11:am it would have made things easier. I just recently renewed my membership of 32 years and this experience has been the absolute worse experience in my life. I have been shown that AAA is unreliable, dishonest, and not forthcoming with important information. AAA made a bad day into a nightmare. I hope all involved are proud of themselves, and Tameka if she really cared about people stranded like she appeared to should look for a more honest company to work with.
If I can give zero stars
If I can give zero stars, I would they are the worst company I have ever have to deal with just because my wife was a member and she had to be at work so I stayed home with the car. They couldn’t help me because she was at work and wasn’t there with the car horrible company
Unable to Contact AAA for a required tow
Multi year subscriber to AAA. When my wife’s car quit and wouldn’t start at a busy parking lot, she attempted to call the roadside assistance number. After a few automated questions whether she lived in WA or OR (which she did not), the call was disconnected. Several more attempts were made to reach AAA by phone, all with the same result. Noticing a towing company across the street, my wife engaged the business to to her car to the local dealership for a very reasonable $105. When I reached AAA several days later, the offered to pay $50 toward the tow but refused full reimbursement. Consequently, I cancelled my membership since it was essentially worthless. I continued to receive emails and mailings regarding membership, but never received any response to my complaint from AAA
Excellent service!!
Excellent service!!! By a driver who patiently waited for me to arrive, then solved my problem quickly. Had to open the car door, which he did in a few seconds, then had to crawl into the back seat to reach in and unlock the trunk. Because that's where my keys were. Could not ask for better, faster, more efficient service. Very happy with AAA!
December 23 100% Disabled Veteran
December 23, 2025, 4:55 pm
I am a 100% disabled veteran and have been a Premier member, along with 2 family members, for over 15 years, and used roadside service fewer than 20 times across 3 memberships. I used all 4 of my annual service calls for quick jump-starts, each under 5 minutes, due to a recurring dashboard issue. Now, I have had to pay $100 for a jump-start after exceeding the limit. Shame on you, AAA. I am a disabled veteran with limited money.
Waiting 3 hours
Waiting 3 hours. I am still waiting. Very frustrating. Customer of over 7 years. It is noth worth the money spent. I will get rid of this service.
What am I paying for??
I am currently on I-10, 20 mi from Tucson, Arizona. Had a flat at 9pm last night, it is 6:15, yes 9 hours later, im still waiting
Just called triple A, the truck that was 20 to 30 min away at 1am... had a flat, 5 hours ago should be here in another 2 hours.
Stellar service, thanks to a towing operator with old school customer service skills…
I was looking to leave a review on our most recent AAA experience. We were so impressed by our tow truck driver, Cordero Newbold, who works as a towing specialist for the actual AAA company, here in the Orlando/Apopka/Central Florida region.
We were so impressed by his professionalism, his kindness, his knowledge, and his fantastic attitude. He really went above and beyond for us. He called us personally with an eta, the first thing he asked was about our safety. Then he arrived a little earlier than expected, with a couple of ice cold waters for us. He made us feel at ease, and lightened up the mood with his words of kindness, and then proceeded to get right to work. After getting our vehicle hooked up, he started out to the pre planned address, and arrived at that location quickly and safely. He really took those extra steps to show concern and kindness- Mr. Newbold is a man of great character and integrity, and we believe that AAA is blessed to have him on staff. It’s not every day that you come into contact with someone who really is respectful and thoughtful, who portrayed such a great attitude, with old school customer service and communication skills. This guy deserves recognition; we believe that to the extent that we have hunted down where we can leave a review for him and the service he provided. He really does a stellar job, representing AAA, giving you a great name.
You all earned a solid 5 star review, and it really is thanks to Cordero Newbold. We hope that he is in the very least recognized for the way he carries himself and the AAA name he works for.
Doesn't do their job.
Does not respond to calls within any reasonable time. They don't get anything done without chewing them out - and I don't mean cursing them out, but this has happened WAY too much. Managers aren't responsible to get anything done and watching when calls are dropped, that what you advertise to the public is what you do. It is not the place of the BUYER of the product to have to call constantly and find out that 1 hr 45 min later, a call for service is declined and then its another 45 minutes before someone is out. Then the call counts against you. If I have to perform managerial functions and ask why you haven't seen there are problems before 6 am, then that means people aren't doing their job. Working bankers hours when cars fail before then is NOT 24/7.
Not a good service when you need it it…
Not a good service when you need it it keeps you waiting overnight service not ok at all not manager or not one to give you status text do not match with representative info on call is so frustrating paying so much every month and at the time you need it is not reliable
Customer service doesnt exist
Multiple calls to AAA and no calls back. Company has gone to crap. They need to fire all the executives.
