Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the service, noting a lack of responsiveness and unfulfilled promises after payment. People frequently reported that the staff, particularly sales teams and relationship managers, were very active before payment but became unreachable or unhelpful afterward. This led to a strong consensus that the company's payment system is problematic, as customers felt ignored once they had paid for services. Some people also felt that the website's advertising of "free listing" was misleading, and others mentioned issues with being unable to log in or edit their paid listings. However, a few other people also felt that the website's free listing option was better than the paid services.

Such a pathetic platform where you…

Such a pathetic platform where you can’t self verify your property because it is only supported on android and not iOS. Even if you buy a paid plan they still won’t verify because they don’t support that area or you need to buy the most expensive plan. Finally they won’t even refund it even if your property remains unverified. Their solution is that you buy an android phone and go to the property and then verify it.

This is a scam portal please stay away from this portal. My Property ID with 99 acres is Property ID: X71077558
From my experience best way to sell your property is to Post in Facebook marketplace and purchase a promotion plan or contact any local real estate agent.

Took money and didn't do anything else after

It's either a fraud or a parallel/equivalent company as after me and my mother paid them for 3 months of service which they coerced us into extending into 6 months, to advertise and find someone to sell our home. They took our money, barely responded back and did nothing to help us as they told.

They promised to help us better advertise, find clients and send them out way but in the 6 months we barely heard a peep from them. The only time they contacted us is to further extend their service and pay them more which we didn't after the 6 months had passed.

My advice is to not fall for their sales tactics and lies. Once they take your money they won't do anything for you and that will be the end of everything.

Don't buy Assist Plus, just DONT!

I am absolutely fuming as I write this scathing review of 99acres.com and their so-called "premium" service. This has been the most infuriating, frustrating, and utterly wasteful experience I've ever had with a real estate platform.

I shelled out hard-earned money for their premium service with the promise of selling my property within six months and receiving 4-5 high-quality leads. Well, guess what? Six months have come and gone, and not only have I not had a single promising lead, but I've also received zero, zilch, nada communication from 99acres.com. It's as if they've taken my money and vanished into thin air.

I explicitly requested regular updates from their team, and guess what they did? They ignored my requests. It's like they think I'm not even worth their time or effort. I asked for help, for feedback, for any kind of guidance, but it seems like they're allergic to customer service. This is beyond unprofessional; it's downright disgraceful.

Let's not even get started on their user interface – it's a relic from the dark ages. I wouldn't be surprised if they're secretly running their platform on MS-DOS. It's clunky, counterintuitive, and utterly useless. The analytics they promised? Worthless. It's a complete and utter disaster.

And the cherry on top of this garbage cake is that they won't even consider a refund, thanks to their ironclad terms and conditions. The only thing I can do is warn the world about this abysmal service, and that's precisely what I intend to do.

I'll be shouting from the rooftops, sharing my horror story on social media, and making a YouTube video to ensure that no one else falls into the 99acres.com trap. This is a cautionary tale, a warning to all who might be tempted by their deceitful promises.

It's clear to me that 99acres.com doesn't give a damn about their customers. Once they've got your money, they wash their hands of you. This is a shameful display of incompetence, and I sincerely doubt they'll take any action to rectify their pathetic service.

In conclusion, save yourself the trouble, the frustration, and the utter waste of money. Go anywhere but 99acres.com for your real estate needs. This is a service that deserves to be publicly shamed for their monumental failure.

Furious and betrayed,

Profound Disappointment with 99acres Platform

My experience with the 99acres platform has been a disheartening one, and it is with a heavy heart that I feel compelled to express my profound disappointment. The recent incident I found myself entangled in, which revolved around a fraudulent activity within your platform, has left me disillusioned and deeply dissatisfied.

When I initially turned to 99acres, I had high hopes and expectations of a reliable and trustworthy platform to assist in my property search. The trust I had in the platform was shattered when I became a victim of a fraudulent act that I never anticipated when I embarked on this journey.

What exacerbates my disappointment is the manner in which the issue was addressed by the 99acres team. The response, or rather the lack thereof, can only be characterized as shockingly inadequate. When users face such serious issues, it is only natural to expect a prompt, empathetic, and effective response from the platform's support team. Unfortunately, my experience was far from that.

This situation is not a mere inconvenience but rather a grave issue that goes beyond my personal experience. It raises serious concerns about the credibility and reliability of 99acres as a whole. Trust is the cornerstone of any platform that involves substantial financial transactions and critical life decisions like property dealings. The breach of trust I encountered not only undermines my own faith in 99acres but also threatens the trust of countless other users who rely on your services.

The reputation and trustworthiness of 99acres are hanging in the balance. This is not just an isolated incident but a reflection of the platform's ability to ensure the security and interests of its users. A breach of trust, particularly in the realm of real estate, can have far-reaching repercussions, and it is imperative that 99acres comprehends the gravity of this situation.

I understand that the laws governing fraud cases can differ based on jurisdiction and circumstances. In India, where your platform operates, various legal provisions, such as the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act, Consumer Protection Laws, Cybercrime Laws, and Contract Law, are in place to protect individuals from fraudulent activities and provide legal recourse in such situations.

I earnestly hope that the 99acres team does not view my disappointment as just another review, but as a wake-up call that demands immediate and comprehensive action. How effectively you address this incident and your commitment to rectifying this grievous matter will determine whether 99acres can regain the trust of its users.

In conclusion, my disappointment with 99acres runs deep, stemming from the unsettling experience of encountering fraud on your platform and the inadequacy of the response that followed. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a catalyst for change, prompting the necessary measures to restore the credibility and trustworthiness of 99acres. The reputation and trust of countless users are at stake, and it is my earnest wish that you act swiftly and effectively to address this issue.

Bad horrible service- Assist Plus

I paid Rs 22,000 to 99 acres for their package 'Assist Plus" and was told I would get a dedicated relationship manager to sell my property. I was assured a minimum of 25 interested buyers within 6 months with their so-called digital marketing. The salesperson Neha disappeared soon after the payment and assigned a useless RM Kritika. She and her boss Aakash had absolutely no clue about selling apartments or property. In fact, Aakash would not address any complaints about the service.
It appears 99 Acres is only interested in fleecing customers. After payment, they show no proof of the promised FB and Google marketing. They just do not work for you!!! Not a single interested genuine lead so far and my package is expiring this month. Stay away!! You will get better results with your own effort.

I posted one property in Visakhapatnam through 99Acres.com and got cheated mercilessly. I got multiple emails and phone calls to use paid services to get the property selling quicker and easier with a dedicated manager. I paid a single slot of 12,000 rupees based on phone call suggestions from 99 Acres around for this in February 2023 to get the assistance of sale for 3 months. I also got a letter from 99 Acres with the payment receipt. I got an email and phone message about a dedicated manager for the property sale. The property is MVV Builders in Madhurawada, near Cricket Stadium. In the first 2-3 days, I got phone calls from Gujarat, stating they were interested, but no one ever came or continued the calls. They (Gujarat) can only call me, but I am unable to them. From then on, I often got many phone calls, and around 10 people came and visited the house. They are showing interest. We can sell at a better price etc. But no repeat person gave any messages, emails, or phone calls to me. Also, all the photos I uploaded, my registered phone number, and all other details were changed without my consent. It is completely cheating, I wasted my hard-earned money and time on this. I suggest not going for 99 Acres' paid service anytime.

I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by 99 Acres. Over the course of three months, they failed to generate even a single positive lead for my property. What's even more frustrating is that on the one occasion they claimed to have found a prospective buyer, the individual flatly denied having any interest upon my reaching out. This not only wasted my time but also led me to question the credibility of 99 Acres as a service provider.

Due to this inadequate performance and the lack of transparency, I strongly advise against employing their services. It's been a regrettable experience, and I have no intention of using them again. I recommend exercising caution and considering other more reliable options for your real estate needs.

Robbers and liers

So my free advertisement ended up in wrong category.
Their sales team contacted and told me that they will post ad in right category, advertise on several social media platforms, and give me dedicated manager who will handle all the inquiries. If I buy a premium package.
I paid for package and guess what...!! My ad is not even posted on their platform what to talk of social media platforms.
They are not replying my inquiries, how would they reply inquires from potential buyer?

Worst! DON'T buy plans

Before I paid any money, the customer service agent was friendly and helpful. They called me several times explaining the plan and its benefits. Once I opted the most expensive(RM assist+) for 20k, they didnt activate my plan until I had to call them several times. They dont even pick your call once you pay the money. Finally they activated my plan and then its hard to get to them to even upload property's images on the website. I have to constantly chase them up. It would have been better if I went with magicbricks. They were quite rude with my mother who at that tike was dealing with these guys, after which I took this in my hands. Customer service is disgraceful here and its not worth your time, effort or money. So disappointed that people can behave such ways with your customers. Personally, I lost my trust in them!

Poor company, disgraceful service - gave DONATION

I paid about 12000 rupees to sell our property in prime location in Chennai and it has been about a month and yet the team at 99acres has been so incompetent that they haven't been able to generate even one site visit.

When asked for a refund for their pathetic service, the entire team were arrogant and reluctant to return the money.

It such a shame to have companies like this that are disgraceful, incompetent and can't respect customer's preferences.

We experienced disgusting service from these incompetent people : Divya R(divya.r at 99Acres.com), Aman Kumar (aman.k3 at 99Acres.com) and Ashish Kumar (ashish.kumar2 at 99acres.com).

Ashish Kumar is the so called manager - he has ZERO customer handling skills and does not know how to retain customers by maintaining customer goodwill instead he was arrogant and said they are not able to process the refund despite there being more than 2 months left in my subscription. 99Acres will only lose more customers because of this guy's disgraceful service.

I reckon the company is in such a bad financial state that they can't even return a small money like 12000 rupees. I am going to consider my money as a DONATION to this poor company.

NoBroker is a lot better than 99acres. If they make mistakes, they are decent enough to correct their mistakes unlike this bloody 99acres. I will NEVER EVER come back to this company.
