Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the service, noting a lack of responsiveness and unfulfilled promises after payment. People frequently reported that the staff, particularly sales teams and relationship managers, were very active before payment but became unreachable or unhelpful afterward. This led to a strong consensus that the company's payment system is problematic, as customers felt ignored once they had paid for services. Some people also felt that the website's advertising of "free listing" was misleading, and others mentioned issues with being unable to log in or edit their paid listings. However, a few other people also felt that the website's free listing option was better than the paid services.

Worst customer service and absolute…

Worst customer service and absolute waste of your time and money. Dont go with any plan. If you go with basic plan, they will just make you waste your time and money, doing absolutely nothing from their end. And their useless MBA managers will call you to relentlessly convince to upgrade your plan and take a new package which will also be a total waste of your money and time.

Expensive promotional package compared to Magicbricks

Sales person (Ms. Yashika) from 99 acres initially asked for 28k for 3 months duration promotional package and told me she can make it a 21k deal through a very limited time deal. This lady and her female boss pestered me and my wife a lot with frequent calls and messages to grab the deal which was very high rate wise compared to other co.s like Magicbricks (Magicbricks charged Rs. 4700 for their Titanium pro package, i.e the highest package charge in their kitty). Hence I feel 99 acres didn't offer me a competitive price and too much follow-ups from their sales team spoiled my mood, grew suspicion and killed my eagerness to take their package.

This company does not "verify" brokers…

This company does not "verify" brokers or their description of the properties. It's a complete lie when they put the word "verified" on the listing. My property was listed without my permission by a broker, with video clips that they did not have permission to take with wrong details like price and floor. I have complained to 99acres but no action has been taken and the listing has not been removed. One star is too much for 99 acres, keep away.

DONT PAY AND TAKE SERVICE OF 99ACRE.COM

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the performance of the property listing plan I purchased. When I opted for the 6-month plan by making a payment of ₹20,000, I was assured that I would receive an additional one month free and that my property would be advertised across various social media platforms nationwide, attracting buyers from all over India. These commitments played a significant role in my decision to purchase the plan.

However, the results so far have been far from satisfactory. The number of site visits facilitated by 99Acre team in the last six months has been extremely low. In fact, local brokers, without any additional expenses, are able to generate more site visits on a weekly basis. Furthermore, the service provided by my assigned Relationship Manager has been subpar, failing to meet even the basic expectations.

Based on this experience, I am highly dissatisfied and would not recommend 99Acre services to anyone.

99acres is a scam

99acres is a scam. I don't know how Indian government is allowing this kind of platform online. I paid 12000 rupees for selling my property to increase the visibility of my advertisement. I am getting the visibility from free platforms also. After advertising zero support from 99 Acres. I wanted to update my contact information but was not able to because these are the bunch of the bastards we have here who just looting the money of people. India is unfortunately is full of these rascals who does not know anything about customer service. Don't waste your money at such kind of podiums. I wanted to give something in negative but there was not an option. Stay away from these folks.

A Big Fraudster Company-don't ever trust…

Big fraudster company-don't ever trust on any of their words-they are morally and ethically corrupt. I was fooled twice, in Dec 2021 for Rs. 6000 (W59868654), and again in Nov 2024 for Rs. 3359 (V78222213).
What they will do initially, take payment of Rs. 3359, for advertising, then comes their executive, saying that sir you bought just listing, not advertising a property, and promise that he will give an offer/ quotation for additional package to squeeze more money from you. So you can imagine after paying them Rs. 6000 and then Rs.3359, you don't get service what you want. What for we pay them? To loot people!
I strongly suggest, please beware of them and please report it to MCA govt of India too in case you are also fooled. You can see the rating here, how many people they fooled by now with such fraud practice.

Do not waste money by paying premium services

Please humble request for anyone who wants to use 99acres services. PLEASE AVOID. They followup so seriously until paid and after that they don't care at all. I have opted for premium services and I got one visitor in last 2 months. Please do not WASTE your money by falling into the trap. The relationship managers are useless and they never respond anytime. Hope at least few benefits from my review!!

SCAM ALERT

I fell for it but please do not purchase any plan form them. Sales guys give all false commitments to just lure you. Once you pay money they don’t bother to contact you in your time zone also. Nothing happens ahead and I didn’t get a single lead to sell my property in Mumbai.

99Acres makes false promises & provides dummy leads

There is no way to write a scathing enough negative review of 99Acres. Both they and their main competitor MagicBricks are masters of false promises and providing false leads. Let me recount my experience with 99Acres.

1. After I fell for is sales pitch of an updated package for 3 properties I wanted to sell, they first made me pay for the ad, after which they took almost 2 weeks just to get the ads up. So, this is the first flag you should look for. If you want to put up an ad or at least a paid ad, make sure they FIRST draft the ad EXACTLY the way you want it. Only after you are satisfied with the copy of the ads and the pictures are verified and approved by them, should you pay for the ad. Otherwise, you will pay for a 1 month or 2 month package and lose at least 2 weeks of that ad spend because 99Acres cannot get their act together. Their content team is so bad that they cannot even put in the name of a place as a noun, for example, Delhi is put as delhi or Kochi is kochi. They are very unprofessional.

2. The next big issue is the number of false or dummy leads they send you. When you start getting leads from them, you begin to think they are effective. But I noticed very quickly that at least 70% of the leads they send you are not related to your ad at all. Instead, they are just general leads of people who may simply have come on to the site and looked at another similar property. Another 20% of the responses or leads are completely dummy leads of people who have not even looked at an ad on 99Acres. It is obvious 99Acres just puts in the numbers of these people as fillers to make it seem they are getting you leads. Many of these people are harassed by sellers who call them asking if they are interested in buying property. It is a MAJOR problem with 99Acres.

3. Finally, only 10% of ad responses are actual responses related directly to the ad you placed. So, consider this before you place a paid ad. All in all, 99Acres is a pure scam that is absolutely shameless and unethical. However, given there is little recourse to justice, or there alternatives, you have no choice but to place an ad. You have o just hope that you will get at least one lead who will buy you property and therefore make back the money you spend on this unethical organisation.

99Acres - SCAMMERS

Beware of fraudulent practices! I purchased their premium service package valued at Rs. 14,000 to sell my apartment. This package promised a 4-month timeline for property sale and included various services such as social media promotion, email marketing, advertisements, personal calls, lead generation, and the exclusion of brokers.

However, within just 15 days, they abruptly ceased all social media services. Despite my explicit instruction to exclude brokers and only work through my designated relationship manager (RM), they shared my contact details with brokers without consent.

Their initial promises about package details and services were grossly inaccurate. I patiently waited for 2.5 months for them to sell my property, but they consistently failed to take any meaningful action.

Initially, my RM assured me of weekly updates on leads and progress. However, after numerous complaints, she reluctantly agreed to provide updates twice a week. Despite this assurance, I found myself constantly chasing her for updates, highlighting a clear lack of professionalism and commitment.

Even after escalating the issue to her manager, the outcome remained disappointing. It became evident that their entire team operates with a lack of integrity, making them nothing short of scam artists.

Their refusal to provide a refund further underscores their deceitful practices. They continuously make false promises, wasting both time and money.

In summary, dealing with this platform is a lesson in frustration and disappointment. They lure you in with promises of quality service but fail to deliver, leaving customers stranded and out of pocket. Beware of their deceptive tactics and avoid falling victim to their scams at all costs.

I have all call recordings as a proof that will prove they did not provide any service to me worth RS 14000, they also not provided any refund amount till now.

Do not recommend it.
