The most atrocious poker software
The most atrocious and amateurish poker software you'll ever find.
If your internet cuts out for even a split second, the entire software immediately crashes and can't be restored without restarting, and then you can kiss goodbye to all the money you had invested in your hands. So the desktop software is literally unusable on wifi.
And to make it even better, every time the software crashes, it just deletes all your player notes you've made on people, which is potentially months of work and can cost you serious money.
I remember this being an issue when I tried 888 poker years ago, which means they don't make any attempt to update and improve their software problems, clearly.

Deposit bonus scam
Absolutely brutal. THE DEPOSIT MATCH BONUS IS WORTHLESS. I deposited $250 to get $250. I know I’m roughly a break even player so I figured I’d play the $250 and then get the matched deposit. Well, turns out you have to play $1000 not $250. Ok annoying but not such a big deal. Played the $1000 worth and 250 bankroll is down to 215. But I go to collect my $250 deposit bonus. Oops I get $10 and every subsequent $1000 I play I get another $10 until I reach $250. So I have to play $25000 in order to get $250. Deposit match my ass. The misleading should be criminal.

Other support people say they will look into it but they don't reply.

Opened an account and deposited some money. Account frozen and you are pushed to a verify page. I send the documents they require and then they ask for more. I send them and nothing, no reply no account. You cannot chat as you cannot log in, the site and App make it impossible for you to communicate with them just putting you in a verify loop.
I have now been using Resolver for a week to just try and cancel the account and have my money returned.
Surprise they now want copies of my bank card. This is crazy and just feels like a scam. Without doubt one of the worst companies I have ever been involved with, avoid!
What a shock, I get the generic reply every complaint gets and its means nothing. Even gives instructions on how to speak to someone, which by the way doesn’t work if they lock you out of your account. Appalling service but from my experience with 888 what I expected.

I can't say how many times I've won a hand but I lost. Also, you can't contact customer support, impossible. Biggest con ever. And if you notice on here, they have a generic response for any complaint. I thought 888 was legit because you see it everywhere, pros promoting it on their attire. Don't go anywhere near these total con artists. I'm also sure there's a whole lot of bots you're playing alongside. Con con con con con artists

Will take your money and not let you use it!
I signed up to 888 poker 2 weeks ago and made a initial deposit. This deposit has left my bank but been "in process" with 888 for 2 weeks now. I have spoke to numerous "agents" through there online messaging service to no avail. I have been told on one occasion the payment will process with 24 hours and by 2 others that the payment team will be in touch. I did receive a email from one of these and supplied all they asked for. A week after that email and no reply or resolution. Awful service, a complaint to the fca will be following this review.

888 doesn't have a self exclusion tool
I have a severe gambling problem on there terms it says i need to email them to self exclude ... my addiction took over third day and i lost all my money after emailing them... today being 4th day they close my account (Thats only because i complained on other social platforms because they responded to this ticket first vs others i sent 5 days ago)

I lost $900 cad because of this.... I find this irresponsible on the casino especially a casino as big as 888.
(Note i know it's my fault for depositing but casino's have a responsibility to govern it properly and prevent people who are at risk from gambling and 888 failed). I will escalate this to higher regulatory to refund my last deposit which i lost to the casino (blackjack, and sports betting).
