4WD Supacentre Bundaberg Store Experience
I went to the Bundaberg outlet to purchase a single sliding draw which showed it was currently on sale. The guy that served me confirmed they were on sale and he would go check to see if they had any left. Shortly after he returned with one in a box for me, I went over to checkout to pay for it and the first thing the lady at the checkout said was that they are no longer on special. I replied that the sign is still up and the guy had confirmed they were on special, anyway she found a bundle for me at a similar price so was happy with it and went to pay when she now said these are all sold already. I was confused as I had one with me, she then said she will go check out back to see if they had any more as apparently the one I had was sold??? She returned stating they had no more available so could not buy one. I then said I would take the draw on display as I had traveled 2.5hrs to get here. She replied that she could not sell this one until all draws were sold??? Again confused as she had just told me they were all sold!!! She then again said, no could not sell to me as she had not been given permission to sell the display draw. I then walked out. I have purchased much stuff in the past from their Newcastle outlet and always happy with nil issues but this Bundaberg (QLD) outlet is terrible. Staff have no idea if their coming or going and abrupt/rude.

I’ve spent a fair bit of money at 4WD Supacentre over the last couple of months, so I expected better service. The gear itself is usually decent value, but the customer service let me down badly on my last visit.
I went in to pick up an order, changed my mind while still in the store, and returned it right then and there — never took it out, never opened it, never even left the counter. They still charged me a 10% fee “for returning it,” which is absolutely ridiculous. They didn’t do a thing except tap a button, yet I got slugged like I’d caused them major work.
It’s disappointing to see a company treat a loyal customer that way. Charging a restocking fee for something that never even left the shop feels like a money grab. Won’t be rushing back ever.

Their customer service and returns system is a farce. We were advised by their team member that a winch would fit our bullbar, when we went to fit said winch it did not fit. We returned unused, boxed winch to the store and were advised that they could not issue a refund only a store credit. Even though it was their team member that advised us to buy it. Now, it has turned into a mammoth task to try and get a refund from the head office. The staff time and labour costs would be way more than if they just gave me the refund in the first place. The staff at the store were lovely but working within the company return policy, which is totally ridiculous. There are so many other reputable retailers with superior products and great customer service to warrant dealing with these people again.

The worst retailer I have ever dealt with. Their return policy is a fast and they make it as hard as possible for you to return a faulty product. I believe they make it hard hoping you will give up. I bought a HUD GPS unit and it’s faulty the speed flickers all over the place making it unusable. Firstly looked on their website how to return the unit but I couldn’t find the form or how to do it. I then rang them they emailed me a form to fill in and return. The information they require and photos and videos they want is a joke. So I filled in the form and returned 2 days later they email me asking could I video the unit not working correctly. Surely they know it’s illegal to use your phone in the car while driving. So how do I video it. There website says 30 day change of mind policy . Would hate to go up that road when they make it soooooo hard to return a faulty product. Plus it was only $29.90 imagine if it $299.00 Do not buy from them and hope to have support for faulty product. Buy from more reputable retailers that honour returns. Yes I still have the faulty HUD GPS as I don’t need the head nick of the 4wd supercentre.
All my kings products have failed
All my kings products have failed, 2 x 3000w inverters, the pump in the hot water system, the speaker, the trailer cam, the fridge works but poor design so the freezer door fell off and put holes into the panels, which suprised me as it must be pretty soft fridge material.
Over all avoid this Chinese cheap factory outlet crap.
Didnt bother with warranty as they are all just out of warranty.
Dissapointing our government let this garbage in!
I am contemplating taking it all back in store and dumping it there so they can dispose of it. Staff should boycott this store!
Is this a Scam?
Bought 4th Oct in store Roof Top Tent Mk 3 they offered on the day 10% value gift voucher still not received as of today 15th October. Have rung 6 times, each time a different person, each time a different excuse, had to get approval IT, Accounts, Marketing, etc I now think this was a big scam to trick me into buying goods from them, think they have no intention of giving me my gift voucher after almost 2 weeks. They also have not yet advised when I can pick up my roof top tent. This is all very sus' Its like dealing with "The Doggy Brothers"! Is my next step ACCC ?
