Ordered a Large Fig Tree in a 5lt pot , delivered earlier than expected . Pot was half empty with loose compost , tree was barely 25cm tall with just 2 branches both going off to one side , anything... See more

Terribile company , wrong items , no reply
Terribile company . Ordered bare rooted 6 acer palmatums from there eBay store in February . Now they are leafing out I can assure you they are not Acer palmatums . Message the company on eBay and surprise surprise no reply . Do not use this company as it's a complete waster of money and very frustrating.
Scammers. Avoid.
My experience with this company echoes all other negative reviews here. I ordered x30 Laurel plants via B&Q. Beechwood Nurseries/3FatPigs dispatched a few days later, only for the consignment to say that DHL had never received the shipment.
I contacted the seller who ignored messages, when I persisted they ignored everything I had said and simply told me to contact DHL. DHL told me to contact the seller who ignored me yet again. I persisted further and they agreed to send a replacement, this was never sent.
I finally received the original order 2 weeks after dispatch, evidently the plants had been sat in a box for 2 weeks, all were clearly damaged prior to sending with ripped/damaged leaves, covered in some blue powder and were moldy from being sat in a damp box for so long.
Again, the seller ignored me. I asked B&Q to intervene and the seller pleaded ignorance. I provided an image of the damaged plants, only to receive a one sentence reply that they could see no issues. Although their sudden loss of sight is unfortunate, I’ve gone back for a 3rd time requesting a refund. I’ll have to do a bank chargeback if they refuse. What a waste of time from this scamming company.
Do not buy from this company
Absolutely awful experience with this company. Please don't order with them.
I ordered a plant through B and Q which arrived in a very poor condition. Despite sending many photographs they insist it is healthy. They have been very rude and aggressive in their communications with me, which I have found very upsetting. I assume they use this tactic to make people give up.
As an aside, B and Q are also appalling, just pushing me back to Beechwood Nurseries who of course won't do anything
This most appalling customer service ever…..
This company customer service is absolute appalling. I ordered several live plants from B&Q, spending over £400. B&Q use this company as a verified seller. The plant ordered arrived several days beyond its original delivery schedule and when it arrived it was dead, cost me £13.99. I contacted B&Q and Beechwood Nursery aka Three Fat Pigs immediately and today I have received several very rude emails from them, totally unprofessional. Avoid Avoid and definitely avoid B&Q aswell
Smaller size and poor state
I was sent a specimen that was smaller than what I paid for and it was also in a rather poor state, unlikely to survive... after reading other reviews I should not have been surprised that at best I received a 15% refund.... won't order again from them
sending the wrong plants
Ordered bare root hedging but was sent the wrong species. Customer support is unresponsive
They stole my money £300+ and wont answer my emails or calls.
I paid over 300 pounds and have not recieved the items that were sent to the wrong address. Even after sending them proof in the form of photos showing they were at a wrong address, and the delivery company DPD also gave consignment numbers for the return of the items that were collected from the address they were delivered to. No one will answer the phone nor rely to my email. They literally just stole my money. Unbelievable. This company should be Avoided at all costs.
No problems here
I feel quite lucky looking at the other reviews, but my three silver birch are all alive and growing. Perhaps a little smaller than advertised but they were the cheapest around by far. Can’t fault them really.
They did look dead when they arrived, but that is just bare root planing in winter? All have green on now so I’m happy.
Waste of money
Recent order came, £40 for twigs! Can return so long as 14 days from receipt of sale, not day I received and it took 8 days! Pointless. Rude when emailed. Put this company down as a bad mistake
AVOID at all costs! Terrible all round!
Terrible experience! Ordered 2-3ft Alder Trees and received dried up little twigs barely 20cm! Packaged terribly (just a piece of cane and brown tape with nothing protecting roots - arrived in poor condition. Contacted customer services and received really aggressive rude responses! Absolutely awful service, poor quality plants, just an all round very poor experience!
Foul and abusive customer service after receiving some twigs
Abusive customer service. Extremely poor products and customer service.
Avoid at all costs. Read the reviews.
I ordered a couple of "6-8 foot" silver birch trees.
What I received was a couple of dead twigs that were about 5ft tall.
I've tried three times to contact the company and been ignored, before months later getting an abusive email.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Don't waste your money!
I had an unsolicited, abusive message from the company, calling me a "lying a***hole"
Worst company
I wish I'd read reviews on here before purchasing from beechwood nurseries ltd/3fatpigs. SENT THE WRONG PLANT.
I wouldn't give them any stars. I bought a elderberry golden tower via B&Q marketplace from them. I had previously researched this plant and knew exactly what it looks like (gorgeous elongated deep cut golden leaves).
When the plant arrived i noticed it had different shaped leaves, oval, green with bits of yellow on them (varigated), (no label), different from the one advertised. I sent them a photo of the plant and all they kept saying is your order is correct. It's an elderberry but NOT the the variety I had ordered.
Customer services is absolutely appalling, very rude and condescending, nasty attitude, they just kept fobbing me off saying your order is correct.
I pointed out to them about all the negative reviews on trustpilot, they had the cheek to say all the negative reviews on trustpilot are fake (laugh out loud).
They won't allow me send the plant back (because it's perishable), they won't give me a refund, because they are denying they've sent the wrong plant. When a customer is unhappy with a purchase, any decent company will try to resolve the issue, but not this lot.
I have proof of purchase and photos of the plant they sent.
Greedy, rogue, rip off company.
Update I have reported them to consumer services and they will pass my complaint over to trading standards. I advise anyone that as had an issue with this trader to do the same thing.
I've brought loads of plants online from other sellers, always been good quality and had no issues.
Unfortunately I made a big mistake buying from beechwood nurseries/3fatspig, NEVER AGAIN
Sent the wrong tree- no replacement or refund just rudeness
I was sent the wrong tree and not offered a refund or replacement. I was treated with extreme rudeness by the customer service team. Planning to report to trading standards. I can only assume that beechwood nurseries had to rebrand as 3fatpigs as they had such a bad reputation. Don’t be fooled - same company same terrible service.
Complete Scam
Complete Scam. DO NOT USE Beechwood Nurseries or 3 Fat pigs.
No item delivered and refused refund. Spent weeks and many emails trying to sort but just being ignored.
Just read google reviews and trust pilot and eBay. They are scamming many buyers. Absolute disgrace!
Poor presentation and service - plants may be OK
Ordered bare root plants which arrived wrapped in shrink wrap and duct tape with no or illegible labelling. The plants were very dry. No answer to telephone call.
Stay well away from this company …
I ordered 3 forest flames and only received one. I suspected it was the wrong plant, contacted them with photos and they assured me it was the right plant...i found out shortly afterwards that it wasn't!....It was a Japanese hedge flower! When i told them they had forgotten my other two plants they apologised and sent me my 2 missing forest flames....they were actually perfect plants I recognised as forest flames. I contacted them to ask if they could send me a replacement forest flame. They ignored every message, phonecall, emails. I was shocked at such poor customer service from a northern ireland based company. I even said I would drive down and bring the one 'wrong' plant back...still ignored. Eventually I contacted Ebay and they refunded me. Never ever buy from this company. Once they get paid they don't care about you.
Can’t fault my experience
Ordered two bare root fruit trees on the Monday. Delivered on the Saturday by DPD in great condition.
Healthy, robust trees with great root systems.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.
I’m a professional gardener so know what I’m looking at.
Ordered a Victoria plum bare root 4/5…
Ordered a Victoria plum bare root 4/5 ft tree described as “ready to fruit”. Arrived quickly but very poor quality. The only decent branch had snapped off. The root system was very poor. It was basically a 4 ft twig. Contacted with photos and videos. Got a brush off- can’t refund as tree already planted- which it very clearly wasn’t from the photos. Still no refund. Avoid.
Not sure what’s happening with…
Not sure what’s happening with everyone’s trees, but I bought hydrangeas from them numerous times without a fault.
Came in great packaging and undamaged.
poor product and very poor customer service
I ordered an annabelle hydrangea through b&q online for £14.99. 5 days later I received a 2l pot with 2 twigs measuring 2 inches which looked dead or dying. I contacted b&q immediately by email and it turned out the plant was from Beechwood nurseries/3fatpigs and I was to contact them which I did with photos. They claimed there was no problem and refused a return and refund. Extremely rude. They are mis selling. Never buy from them. 1 star because it wont allow none
A further update on this review. I requested a chargeback on my credit card and was successful. I hope this will be useful information for others
