Shame on 1st Choice Spares for allowing scammers on their platform!

I purchased a £1,300 gearbox through your site from “Foreign Car Spares Ltd” – what a nightmare. I received a faulty part, followed by the wrong part, and now they’re refusing to refund me. Even after diagnostics by Nissan main dealer and an independent garage confirmed the fault, they keep fobbing me off.

Foreign Car Spares has terrible reviews and a reputation for ripping people off – how can 1st Choice Spares continue to let them operate on your platform? You’re enabling this fraud. This has left me out of pocket on labour, storage, and transport costs, and without a working car.

If you care about customers, remove these dodgy sellers and take accountability for what happens through your site. Until then, I’ll warn everyone: Avoid 1st Choice Spares – they’re helping scammers profit!

I requested a parcel shelf for my Citroen C1 VTR (09 plate), and received quotes quickly ranging from reasonable to overpriced (in my opinion). I chose the lowest quote from A1 Allcars Ltd., which was received within specified delivery time, and was in excellent condition. However, I was disappointed to find that although the shelf fitted widthways, the depth was slightly too big, meaning it doesn’t lay completely flat when the boot lid is closed. I won’t be returning the shelf as it isn’t a major inconvenience, but just curious as how this would happen. Regardless of this, I would happily use 1st Choice Spares UK again.

Great for used car parts although some parts are extortionate but hold out and u get a bargain, for example I purchased a used turbo for my van and 1 company wanted 368 and 2 days later a company wanted 75 so its rhe go compare of used car parts

I was scammed. I had discussed all details of part required before accepting the quote. The part actually received was poorly packaged, in very poor condition & wrong colour. Bright blue car wing mirror instead of white. It rattled when moved. Coersive response from supplier telling me I should keep part before a whatsapp message refusing my request for a refund & telling me to raise a paypal claim instead. Avoid this please. Go direct elsewhere for your parts.

Used 1st choice website for air con compressor for Honda hrv , bought from MGS automotive spares , had to contact 1st choice customer services for MGS to dispatch after ringing MGS every day for 6 days , when received and had fitted by my mechanic sorted, air con compressor not working, rang MGS up , they want pictures, i went one better and sent videos and emails and rang MGS to resolve this , they want me to pay them again a sum of £364.80 for them to send a replacement. I have already paid them not forgetting my bill to my mechanic for fitting and regasing air con , now they are not responding back after all information they requested from me,have put a complaint to 1st choice website , do not use this garage , toooo much trouble

First rate service. Got quotes within minutes and by the end of the day had five offers for a part that supposedly we couldn’t get in uk!! I will use this company every time I need a spare part from now on.

The delivery time was fantastic , I bought a ASB pump I took it to my Garage to have it fitted(22-7-25) only to be told its the wrong one !!, so now I will have to pay for the old one to be refitted on top of this I was told the cars Brakes will work fine but it will be an Instant MOT fail , I am not feeling good at the moment.

1st choice spares made quick work of my search and immediately returned vendors with the approximate part(fuel injector pump) I was looking for. The payment and delivery went smoothly. Unfortunately upon installation, the SCV returned a stuck error and had to be replaced.

Absolutely amazed and happy with the service. Bought a steering rack for my C4 Picasso which came in very good condition and delivered very quick as promised!

Was given a quote online for some wing mirrors. I called up to ask for photos (because reviews mention receiving broken products). I was told I would receive photos in a few hours. The next day I had still not received photos so called up at 9am, I was told I would receive them by lunchtime. I called back again at 3pm because I had still not received any photos and was told that they don’t actually have the product I was quoted for. Was not given an apology and the guy basically hung up on me. I needed these wing mirrors for a long drive on Saturday and now I don’t have time to buy any because i assumed I would be able to order these. Thanks a lot for absolutely nothing. Wasted my time and now my car isn’t safe to drive and I might crash on a motorway.

Incredible website, easy to use, fast responses. The company we dealt with, Specialist Dismantlers, couldn't have been more helpful and delivered my gearbox quickly and efficiently as promised after patiently dealing with my queries. My advice? Don't feel overwhelmed with a car problem - visit this site and get solutions and use Specialist Dismantlers if they can assist!

was quoted £48 for rack and wiper arms, just the rack arrived. Got in touch about the arms and was told they wanted £12 an arm but would send both arms for another £10 plus postage, sent the pay link which never showed up, and then wanted to take payment over the phone.

Really good communication and very happy. Would def use again

Bought spare part for our car it was delivered in a couple days well packaged was fitted yesterday by my garage just have to see if it now does the trick fingers crossed very pleased with service

I ordered online, we have agreed on some items after discussions, later they told me it's sold it to someone else, alternatively they gave me a worse one with more scratches and different color, for which I had to spray the whole thing. They claimed it's more expensive because the color is more popular.. For hell sake I don't need that color!
