After two months still haven't received my 500€ deposit. They don't answer to my e-mails. Meanwhile my bank account changed and they said that the money can be refunded only on the account that did the booking (completely false since when you apply for the refund they ask you on which IBAN to pay it back...).
Next step is either police or lawyer!
Stay away from this scammer!

Like many others said, they request a deposit of 500 Euros AFTER your booking is confirmed an cannot be cancelled. They don't simply place a hold on the money, like other companies, hotels, etc. do, the amount is taken out of your account and you have to wait 28 days to request the payment back. I've never heard of any company where you have to make a request to get your money back, and after waiting 28 days no less! And if that isn't enough, they take ANOTHER 28 days to refund you!
Who would willingly lend somebody 5oo Euros without any interest for nearly two months?! If I'd known that before I wouldn't have booked them!
This seems very untrustworthy to me, so I didn't take the car in case they claimed I made a scratch or something similar and kept my money. And STILL I have to wait 28 days to request my deposit back - even though there was no possibilty for me to damage the car, thus rendering the waiting period unnecessary!

According to consumer protection there are MANY complaints about bogus claims of destruction and also lawsuits against the company. If they go bankrupt before you got your money back then bad luck I guess...

They charged me 300€ for smoking in the car.
I don't smoke, never smoked, nobody smoked in the car, I don't even know how to smoke.

They stopped replying to tickets and just ignore me.
They probably do this with many customers.

Next time I will hire a moving company, I will end up paying the same, but I will not give a single euro more to this dishonest company.

If you want to use it anyway take a lot of pictures and report every single detail (all cars have multiple damages) but be aware that they will come up with lies to take money from you

The first booking went smoothly. However, for the second booking, they suddenly attempted to charge €1000 as a deposit instead of simply placing a hold, as is usually the case. This amount is held for 28 days, and you are required to initiate the refund process yourself.
The refund then takes another 28 days to be processed.
If you receive a traffic ticket, they charge an additional fee to forward it, labeling it a “contractual penalty.”
Conclusion: Stay away! I will never do business with this company again!

Fraud company. I made a booking in March and still awaiting my caution of 1000 euros in May.

Recomd you bot to take a transporter from 123. They keep your money as its theirs and you keep running after them for money which they might not give back.

Please go to a trusted company like sixt,enterprise. Atheist yous get money in 2 days back.

Please avoid using this company unless you're prepared to pay a €1000 deposit on top of the car rental price!!!
You are technically entitled to request your deposit back after 28 days (which is already unreasonable), but that doesn't mean you'll actually receive it — even after several months.

Customer support is non-existent: you can submit questions that are answered by an AI, or call their paid hotline at €3.64 per minute, it won't solve anything..

I only got my money back by initiating a chargeback through my bank. However, 123-Transporter still deducted a commission fee for that from my account. This suggests I'm not the first person to have used a chargeback to recover funds, especially if there's a clause about commission in their terms and conditions (AGB). I wonder how such business is even allowed in the EU.

I rented a vehicle from 123 Transporter and had a very difficult time getting my deposit back. If you don’t proactively request the refund, it seems unlikely you’ll ever see the money again.

Even after formally requesting it, the company’s stated policy of returning deposits within 28 days was not honored. Worse still, the phone numbers listed on their website didn’t work, and emails to their support address mostly went unanswered.

I did eventually receive my deposit, but only after repeated follow-ups and a lot of unnecessary stress. It’s disappointing to see such poor communication and disregard for customers. I hope they take steps to improve their process and reliability.

They haven't returned our deposit in almost a year and make it hard to contact them. Now they have deleted our account, it seems. We are contacting lawyers, media and the police over this. Never had to do this before

The worst scam company - they should be banned and never allowed to operate as a legitimate business. Where are the regulators to close this company and put the owners behind bars!! The worst in automotive mobility rental business! I don’t expect them to last long before they close shop and take all the money out from their customers.

They take a high deposite and return it (hopefully) after a month. And you have to climb it. Thats shady... looks like their bussiness model is that maybe someone forget, die or whatever... the car was in horrible conditions. Crashed, broken window... NOWAY to do it again.

- Lengthy process to get and drop off the car
- They expect you to park back where you found the car, and that in Düsseldorf: parking is horrible here as it is, but you're not allowed to drive anywhere else to park it
- Customer service is very difficult to reach
- They do NOT write back your deposit, you have to claim it back... so far it has been days and still no deposit was wired back

Overall: avoid this company

Scammers, they will tell you anything about the deposit till you pay for the rent after that they will give you a choice either 150 euro non refundable or 1000 will be refunded after 2 months from the day of the rent till this point is ok. Now the situation after 3 months of the booking I didn’t get back my deposit and when i send them about that they replied with an automatic answer problem with service provider which I don’t know my relationship with them i paid for them not for their service provider and now the situation is tucked here and most probably i will go to for a court with lawyer and will make a report at the police station.

Recommendation: please avoid this shitty renting company they are scammers.

I payed for the booking, downloaded the app but couldnt finalize the booking because the froze everz time I tried to pay the 500 eur deposit (of which there was no informaiton during the whole booking process) no support unless you pay 3,64eur/min where thez told me they can send me an email with troubleshooting tips, although I already told them i tried everzthing includini reinstalling the app, rebooting the phone and clearing the cache. piece of shit scam

Catastrophic. Deposit of 500,-- never returned, now turned to a lawyer. Moreover, first car did not work, lost 1/2 hour. Alternative car, doors would not unlock as they should, lost again half an hour. STAY CLEAR of that company!

Very bad, we made a booking 8 hours before and the documents never got approved! If they can't revise documents in 8 hours, then they shouldn't allow short notice bookings! We called, emailed and used the stupid chat pot, no one ever got back to us! Don't use this service!

I advise nobody to use the service. Please do not book online they keep on taking money from your account . I had to close my account so they cant take any money.

This company are running a scam, they took 500 euro from my account and never returned it.

The last message I got from them they told me they are having problems returning deposits.
