Now April 2025 and still no deposit back from last Nov .
If you use this company don’t pay a deposit with a debit card as we don’t seem to have a leg to stand on . Zest who we booked through have been no help either with getting our money back.

Hired a car in oct 2024 now Feb 2025 and still no deposit back. Just keep getting fobbed off . Apparently when they take the toll charges which was just over 2 euros it releases the funds back . The 2.20 still to this day hasn’t come out of our bank and no deposit has been released back . They have disputed it with Mastercard and we are still no further forward
We hired the car through zest and the car hire company was drive 4 fun . At the end of the day the car was hired through zest yet all they do is email drive 4 fun and repeat the same stuff over and over yet we are still 500 euros out of pocket .
Will never use either companies again

I am sorry to learn of issues which have been experienced in relation to the security deposit release on this occasion.
I have reviewed all correspondence which took place in relation to this query and can confirm that the transaction receipts provided via email on 9th December show that the security deposit was pre-authorised at the time of collection and a charge of 2.20 EUR was issued against this pre-authorisation one week after the return of the vehicle.
At this time, the remainder of the pre-authorisation is released.
The transaction receipts show the authorisation code and a partial card number which should allow you to identify the card and associated bank account and for your card issuer to assist in locating this in your transactions.
I am sorry that this has not been the case.
A member of our post rental Customer Relations Team will be in touch directly to offer any assistance which you may require while your card issuer investigates why you are not able to locate the funds.
