Bought the cream one and the fabric feels really decent — not that thin stuff that lets the sun straight through. It blocks the glare well and even takes the edge off the breeze.
I’m no spring chicken (65 next birthday) but I can wind it up and down on my own, no worries — usually with a cuppa in hand too. The tilt is the best bit. I just adjust it as the sun moves, and when it’s lower I pop it closer to vertical and it still throws good shade over the table.
Had a few comments from neighbours already, and I’ve mentioned it to the girls at bowls. It’s been a great buy.
