Review of Baracuda Australia

Waste of money and poor product support

This item spent a lot of time on it's side going around in circles which we learnt to live with and had to often pull the cable to get it onto it's wheels again. It lasted 27 months until it stopped working totally and I called Baracuda Australia to request a repair under warranty as the Australian Consumer Act states a product should be fit for purpose for 3 years. The person who answered the call was disinterested, unhelpful and told me their warranty was only for two years and that he could not assist me. I asked to speak to a supervisor / manager and was told I could not but I could log a complaint using a Fluidra website link. It was not an easy experience using this Fluidra process with several website glitches but after a few hours of trying on and off I got the warranty / complaint form and filled it in. Over a week has passed I haven't heard back from them so have written this product review to help other people from wasting their money and will now take this to Fair Trading to see if they can assist in having this item repaired under warranty. I bought the item from Bunnings and they are usually very good with honouring warranty issues and supporting their products so I'll take this to them as well.

6 weeks and order still not arrived

Very poor service as item hasn't arrived after 6 weeks and our emails to you about this have been ignored. I had to contact Paypal and open a dispute after not receiving any response from you after sending you two emails.

Horrific service and sell flexible…

Horrific service and sell flexible tickets which aren't flexible at all. We tried to change a ticket we paid extra for to be a flexible ticket and they quoted us $ 1,500 to change the ticket. AVOID this company as is fraudulent to sell and pay for flexible tickets but book non-flexible tickets with the airline.

Hello Marlon Young,

The flexible ticket service allows rebooking of flights, subject to
availability. If the amendment involves an upgrade to more expensive tickets,
this shall be at the traveller's own expense. The rebooking must also be
with the same airline 1 that would have provided the original transportation.

To change the time and date of your booking you need to contact us by telephone.
That's where we handle rebooking/changes. Our opening hours as well as phone
number can be found on our website, under “Contact.”

Call us and we will look together at the possibility of rebooking your ticket.

Best regards,
Flightnetwork team
