I have just finished a one week hire of a photo scanner. I had 6 plastic crates full of loose photos and now I have them all digitised. I have put some aside to keep and I will be putting those in an album or two. I have been wanting to do this for 15 years and I have finally done it. The sense of achievement is unbelievable. I am going to send photos out digitally to family members and i am also going to buy a digital photo frame for them all to be scrolling through for our pleasure. I had some problems getting the scanner set up in the first place, I'm not brilliantly computer literate and it was my computer that was the problem, not the equipment I hired. Jack was so incredibly kind and patient and I got there in the end with his help. It was easy to use and I have digitised hundreds and hundreds of photos. Everybody I have told about this says they want to do the same thing and I hope they do, it was a great project to complete and I am thrilled to bits.
