Holding my Refund...

I booked my brother-in-law ticket through them. The airlines is qatar air. For some reasons qatar air did not allow him to check-in due to covid related reasons. So qatar air first sent voucher and refunded that money to the travel agency. Tey concted us that the money was finally refunded to them and sent us reference number. However this budgetair.com never reply to us properly. They have chat support and the only thing they say is apologizing. They promised me same thing over and over again. I am ready to sue these liars! Please dont book your flight with this website!

This is proven fraud and scam

This is proven fraud and scam. After making you work it will block you and say you violated their terms so they can't give you your payout. This company must be sued for scamming people.

Hello Pamela Matias,

Kindly note that we have noted your request and additional information and we will proceed accordingly, prioritizing your case.

Kind regards,
Tripair Team

I actually gave them a chance to do as they write on here. Holidays passed and even after my husband sent them refund request again for his parents cancelled flight last Sept. 2018, Tripair hasn't given us any positive response except the usual line that SAS Airlines has not responded yet regarding this matter etc. I wonder what kind of business relationships they have with these airlines as I noticed their responses to refund requests are same. So when you book a flight and pay them, their partner Airlines are quick to respond but when they failed to deliver the service they sold to you, Tripair as a 3rd party can just excuse themselves by saying the Airline haven't responded? It is in any Airlines and Tripair's policy that for cancelled flight refund applies. So from Sept. 2018 and its already 2019 tgey claim SAS has not responded or maybe Tripair doesn't really want to give us our money back. This is the biggest lie. They don't deserve to operate. They make this jokes to customers? This is the worst flight experience and customer support we had in years. My husband travels almost every month and these has not occured. Each time this happens we at least can get someone we can talk to and process refund and update us accordingly. What other excuses they will have this time? They seem to have to customer loyalty. My husband has contacted the other passengers in same flight and the ones who did'nt use Tripair got refunds already.

Dear Pamela Matias,

As advised via correspondence, SAS Airlines (final service provider) does not consider all the flight segments eligible for refund (notwithstanding their schedule change affecting your booking).

Nevertheless, our team has continued pursuing your claim and it seems that within the next 7 working days the refund will be completed and a special authorization for full reimbursement (even of the used sectors) will be authorized on exceptional basis.

Based on the above, we will revert as soon as there are updates to your case.

Kind regards,
Tripair Team

This is again relates to my previous review. My husband paid for three flights and we applied for refund for three people. The flights were all cancelled twice. Yes tripair have responded but only processed refund for one account (Mr. Gadermann). I have emailed their accounting to also process the refund for his parents (Marlene and Gunter Gadermann). If they werr reading my husbands email they would see we purchased three flight tickets. This is getting highly frustrating. How can they missed to read our mails and look at how much was the total charge on his account.

In response to my previous comments

In response to my previous comments. I noticed that tripair replies to all comments here with a scripted message. It is how they respond to their clients just copy and pasting some nonsense talk without trying to get into our individual concerns. For your information, my husband already made same comment here and tripair responded with the same script. After that my husband emailed them again as they mentioned that for any concerns we should not hesitate to email them but the same lies apply. As soon as we emailed them we got no helpful response. I understand it is not your fault if flights are cancelled but it is your responsibility to facilitate the refund process as we did our contract with you and not directly to the airlines. And it is also common sense and ethical to update your customers about the status of the refund. It is stated in your FAQs that if flights are cancelled customers are subject for refund. If you do not know these simple customer service responsibilities, then you do not have any right to work as third party agent to these airlines. We gave you our full trust and now that it is your turn to attend to our issues you guys play deaf and thinking you can get back your reputation by copy and pasting scripted response to all your customers just to show you kind of listen to us. This company really is a scambug. We already emailed you plenty of times and we got no response. As you can see my husband Mr. Gadermann has several messages about this and your response are all just not helpful. You wont even pick up calls, that just shows how you want to get away and steal our hard earned cash. I thought this kind of act only happens in corrupt countries but now its every online thing you do, you either get scammed or fooled.

Dear Pamela Matias,

Kindly note that all cases are handled appropriately, and in complete accordance with the carriers' and Tripair's terms of use, by correspondence.

That said, all the necessary information regarding each case is provided to each user explicitly and in detail via correspondence, for the security of both parties.

As advised in our correspondence, the total refundable amount will be reimbursed to the credit card used of the booking, once the airline authorizes it.

As per the e-mail which you received today, 04DEC, the airline has finally authorized the amount, and it has been refunded successfully by Tripair.

So kindly check your inbox to verify.

Kind regards,
Tripair Team

Need full refund after messing up our wedding...

Me and my husband had a terrible experience with this travel agency. Last September 2018, we got married in HK. My husbands parents were supposed to come with him from Germany so they flew from Germany to Sweden via Scandinavian Airlines. The flights were booked through tripair. From Sweden they they were supposed to fly to Hongkong and arrive 3 days before our wedding date (Sept 19th). Due to the typhoon in HK, thr flight was cancelled. On same day my husband and his parents waited and waited for a chance flight until they ended up staying in hotel overnight and waited for thr flight next day. The following day the flight was cancelled again and they were waiting in the airport all day and skipped meals just to get a flight. Until it was cancelled again. I was already so stressed in Hongkong and my husband was already vomitting from all the pressure, disappointment and exhaustion. Until his parents couldn't make it anymore as they are already in their 70s. So my husband send them back to Germany and they were in tears going back. My husband stayed but still there was no assurance or anything about his flight that day. So we ended up booking another flight to Hongkong via Thai Airways or else he wouldnt make it. Scandinavian didnt have prior advisory about the situation nor have accomodated my husbands concern. So he finally flew via Thai Airways crying in the plane. He was advised that he should process refund with tripair becauae he got his contract with them. By law and customers protection law we are entitiled for full refund and compensation as the airlines didnt fulfill the service we paid for but since we used tripair it is the travel agent's responsibility to process our refund. Upon calling SAS and tripair they both pointing fingers to each other. He already called SAS and was referred to tripair but this scambugs never replied to all my husbands call or emails. As in no reaponse at all after they all took our money. Now we are getting a lawyer and going to sue this travel agent for all the fraud they write on their webpage and for not doing their responsibilities to their costumers. This kind of companies are the biggest thieves in the world and they have no shame to just steal from average people. They already messed up with the flight and there was no advisiry or good options provided. Now they are playing deaf. We regret using both SAS and tripair. I thought this is only happening in poor coubtries where customer service is just useless. We want our money back and get compensation for all troubles they caused us. They already ruined our most special day and never been so helpful to their customers. Please anyone knows a lawyer or advise on what else we can do about it?

Dear Pamela Matias,

Please note that Tripair acts as a mediator between airlines and passengers and, therefore, is obliged to act in accordance with the terms and policies of the airlines. This means that any service is provided based on the regulations set by the carriers.

The same applies to flight cancellations/ amendments and, of course, reimbursements.

More specific, Tripair is not to be held accountable in case of flight cancellations, and neither can we proceed with any actions without the receiving the carrier's authority.

That said, please do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail or social media, by providing your booking code or e-ticket number, so that we may check your case and revert accordingly.

We remain at your disposal.

Kind regards,
Tripair Team
