Be warned if you have FRITZ!box wifi!
Initially got the tracker and it seemed to connect to the wifi automatically- which was wha I wanted plug and play. Then started to get discrepancies in the tracking data- saying dog was at home repeatedly despite being over 100 miles away.
Contact support via email, and they were woefully slow and responding. Not a level of customer service I would expect from any company, partially when you have to pay for a product AND subscription.
Finally told that Tractive isn’t compatible with the WiFi router (would have been nice to know before purchasing). The steps I could take to “try” and rectify this would be to change the settings on the wifi, which sounded complicated and I’m not sure I want to change the WiFi settings- particularly when this WiFi has been the vets I’ve had. Or buy a Tractive base station- so additional cost.
I’d already invested in two trackers, a two year subscription for the dogs and had to order the base station on top. It now works well.
Overall expensive, poor response times to requests for support despite numerous emails.
