Poor Communication
I found communication between myself and the company was poor. I ordered an oven on the 3rd May and was told the waiting time would be 4 weeks and would be available at the end of may. Shortly before the end of May I had a call to say the item was not in stock and would be called when it was. I left it a couple of weeks and phoned the company again, only to be informed that the man who was dealing with my cooker had left.
Why did no one else on the sales team look at his customers who were held on file and deal with their existing sales?????
The customer service guy was rude when I asked why I had received no communication.
I was told when the oven was was to be delivered on the 23rd of June but they had no idea what time and was assured that I would get a call to say what time it would be delivered so I could be home to be in receipt of it.
The phone call I received informed me that the cooker would be delivered in the next 20-25 minutes. I was not at home as I was in the hairdressers!!!
The cooker has finally arrived and is lovely, the delivery boys were great but the overall service, due to failings in the communication, was found to be poor. I thought that going to a small independent company I would receive excellent customer service but alas this was not the case.

Sorry to hear that your experience shopping with us was not what you expected. Looking into this I can see that we have let ourselves down with the communication on this sale. We have systems in place to ensure that when staff are away or have left that things do not get missed, however on this occasion these systems did not work.
When we spoke to you on the 8th of June to tell you the cooker was due to us on the 23rd you told us in no uncertain terms that it needed to be installed on that day. Based on this clear necessity we were not able to give you a time on the 23rd until the cooker arrived to us. As I'm sure you can appreciate there was no point us guessing when this would happen. Once it arrived it was loaded onto a delivery van and our MD rang you to say that he was on his way. You were not in so we had to delay, but we had merely tried to get the cooker to you as quickly as we could. I am glad that you are happy with the cooker, and that the installers showed the high standard that our entire company typically adheres to.

Excellent wine, fantastic customer service and speedy delivery.
Was text by Royal Mail to say what time they would be delivering so didn't have to stay in all day.
