Martin came to view the work at our house and asked questions so that he understood exactly what we wanted. His devis were delivered promptly and were a true reflection of the work we required. Once we accepted each of Martin’s devis, start dates were agreed and all jobs have started on time, have been executed in accordance with our requests, with tweaks where necessary and finished as scheduled. We have already decided to use Martin for future work and have recommended him to other potential clients.

I ordered a 3-door beer fridge from GastroHero on 29th June this year, tried to pay using my credit card, ultimately had to pay by bank transfer - I received confirmation of my order but no confirmation of my payment. Delivery was promised within 4-8 days. On 4th August I was told the delivery was going to be late. I called and managed to speak to someone who could speak English, who told me that delivery would be 22nd Sept. I was told that my fridge was held up due to the Evergreen ship that was stuck in the Suez Canal. Today (Aug 24th) I was ultimately advised that delivery will be held up until October, after I had had my phone call terminated by Gastro Hero staff three times. Awful service. I want my money back.

I don't agree with Trustpilot's definition of 5 stars: "Excellent – no reservations, I would recommend this company to anyone." In my own words I would say that making a booking with Holiday France Direct was simple. I would not describe it as "excellent" nor would I "recommend" it to anyone.
