We rented our first Omega rental vehicle in Auckland for a week. We picked it up Downtown Auckland and returned it to the Auckland airport. We did not use the vehicle till we headed out of Auckland. Uber is very easy to use downtown Auckland without parking and traffic issues. The rental process was seamless great people to work with. Easy on line booking with discounts for older people. With Omega you save on airport taxes and you can get on the ferry. Only local rental car companies are allowed this access to ferries.
The next Omega rental vehicle we had was from the South Island in Nelson. We had the vehical for two weeks. When we picked it up, we had the luck of meeting Sue in the Nelson office. Sue spent as much time as we needed to go over a large wall map of the South Island. She was very patient and enthusiastic about our adventure. Sue and all the kiwis we met were amazing, friendly, interested in where we have been in their country and giving suggestions of other areas.
