There's no way - without writing a War and Peace-length novel - I can tell you how wonderful Tommy and Mix Studios are. But I'm gonna try.

First, as people - when I first reached out to Tommy (discussing a terrible experience I'd had with another online mixing company) he didn't - at ANY TIME - say "bring your business here." That never came up! He instead commiserated with me like a human being, and discussed how awful what I'd gone through was, and how it was unfair that my music was practically ruined and I was out a lot of money. He said something like "it sucks, and we've all been there man." It was a truly human moment, and it really stuck with me. No sales pitch - just connecting. Then, during the discussions that followed, as he knew I was out a large amount of money he worked WITH me to help me somehow salvage my budget. That meant everything.

So these things and more (like Tommy's sense of humor and truly good spirit) are the human part of my Mix Studios/Tommy story - but now I'd like to talk about Tommy's skill level and work quality. In a word: amazing. I recorded all of my tracks in my home studio, with little or no separation/isolation, etc. It was the best I could do, but they sure didn't sound like much. My ask of Tommy was to help each song reach its sonic potential - I'm a realist, so I knew that was the best I could hope for. Tommy took EVERYTHING far beyond my expectations. I'm a grown man, and when I heard the first rough mixes I - literally - had tears in my eyes. They were so damn perfect and beautiful. I can say the same for each of my tracks - 13 in all. Composing music is highly personal, but Tommy somehow managed to elevate the tracks - and to understand them so completely - it's almost as if HE was there when I was writing them.

Finally, Tommy finished my 13 tracks in record time. I never asked him, not once, "is this one on the way?" He was organized, efficient and got everything to me so quickly I hardly knew what to do. His system to post comments and work in real time with me to adjust tiny things was flawless. Trust me - it really, really works.

So, Tommy and Mix Studios - thank you and bless you for your work, your professionalism, your kindness and your humanity. Thank you for taking my music and treating it as if it was your own. I would, without hesitation, recommend you to my countless musician friends and ANYONE who has a dream to hear his or her recorded music reach its potential. I know that I'll NEVER take my music anywhere except to Tommy and Mix Studios.
