This online bank is one of the best I’ve tried. Nothing seems to go wrong. It’s easy to use and navigate around the different accounts I have. The interest rates they are giving on the current account, the easy access and the saver account are the best I’ve seen in the country, even beating all of the high street banks. Keep it up.

I am very happy with Zopa
I am very happy with Zopa. I have had a few problems with my finances due to an ex husband running up debt in my name. On applying to Zopa for a credit card the process was very simple, quick and thankfully successful.
100% pre-approval was a lie; questionable confidential data and security mechanisms
100% pre-approved, or so the comparison site told me. Good guaranteed rate advertised through M&S bank. I have zero issues with credit. Went to complete application, hard credit search added to my file immediately. Then asked for proof of income; gave them access to my bank acct and uploaded payslips, kept getting generic message saying they can’t verify the income I applied with. The comparison site asked for an annualised figure; but they wanted a payslip in last 5 weeks, so going by a monthly figure. I opened a chat message and to try explain this and they said they hadn’t received my payslips which was really worrying as I’d definitely uploaded them. I was told “sometimes it doesn’t work first time can you try again”. So the first payslips I uploaded with all my confidential data were just lost in the ether. I received no data about what they do with my information or how it’s safeguarded. Just a loose “we’ll keep it safe” type message.
As I knew the hard search would hurt my credit I felt no option but to keep trying with them so sent payslips again, then to receive an email saying I was declined the loan. There is nobody to speak to only an algorithm it would seem that won’t take into account my actual income; only my last payslip. I was not dishonest and I was not told ahead of the hard search that they needed specific proof of monthly income. The hard search as expected has now significantly affected my credit options. Be very careful of decent pre-approved rates and personally wouldn’t trust them with my data.
