Massive spammer

This company has clearly bought a very big, very dodgy, list of email addresses and now just spams them all day long. I've just received 6 emails in a row from this shady company, all with different spellings of my name in the email address. AVOID ANY COMPANY THAT IS THIS DESPERATE/NEEDS TO RESORT TO THE CHEAPEST 1990s SPAM TACTICS!

Awful company, avoid them at all costs

Awful company that gets your email address from buy purchasing dodgy lists.

They spam you and the unsubscribe link in the email doesn't work so I've just reported them to the ICO.

Update After Reply
Their reply shows just how dishonest they are.
1. They say they send customers to Trustpilot to leave a review, this isn't true, all the reviews on here are organic and not Verified, Invited or Redirected.

2. Clearly they want to direct you to the reviews on their website because they can control these reviews.

3. The unsubscribe link they say to use doesn't work so this is in violation of GDPR.

4. They claim they are in good company by getting terrible reviews. Well if you're proud of getting terrible reviews and being bundled with companies like Ryanair then this says a lot about your customer service,

5. They say the negative reviews are all because they spam people with unwanted emails, yes this is actually true, so why not stop doing this and your reviews will improve?

I would never ever do business with a company like this.

Reviews of the ZoomMail system by ZoomMail customers are now only available on the ZoomMail website.

We have supported TrustPilot for several years, sending our customers to leave reviews on ZoomMail. We published these reviews on our website, TrustPilot doesn't like this, they feel they own these reviews and we should pay TrustPilot for these reviews.

We have always accepted that some receipients who didn't want to receive an email leave us negative reviews, we were always keen to communicate the way to unsubscribe and remove them from the related account - to remove the email address from the sending account - use the unsubscribe link in the email or reply to the email.

Our decision to stop sending our customers means we will only get negative reviews on TrustPilot. From what we can see, the vast majority of all reviews on TrustPilot are negative, so TrustPilot wanting to penalize us when we send customers with positive reviews surprises us.

As a company with a negative rating, we're in good company, Microsoft has a rating of 1.5 stars, the Information Commissioner's Office has a rating of 1.2 stars.

SPAM Email Marketing Company

SPAM Email Marketing Company - Another company that feels they are above the law and can spam people with emails that land in their spam box's. Never trust a company that spams you as most spammers are scammers. If you are a Spammer reading this be warned it will end up in spam lists and rejection due to the low IP rating they have.

EMAIL RECIPIENT

Hi Stuart

Thankyou for your review. We're sorry you received an email you didnt want. Clicking on the unsubscribe removes you from this customers list and they cannot accidentally re-import you.

Looking at your reviews, you seem to get alot of spam.

Persistent spammers

Persistently spam me from numerous email addresses to evade my block list.
Never subscribed. Unsubscribe does not work.
The longer they keep this up, the bigger the GDPR fines will be.

Thanks for your review. I don't think you are a customer of ours.

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. Clicking on the link removes you permanently from this customer's list. They can not re-import your data.

My first email marketing campaign

I didn't know where to start with my email marketing campaign. I was also a bit of a technophobe. Seb at ZoomMail has patiently walked me through the process of creating and delivering my first campaign and I know that I can call upon his support as I roll out my campaign over the coming weeks.

Yep, spammers with a twist...

I have been a DPO since the act went into effect more than twenty years ago. GDPR, sadly, is 4,000 pages of gibberish and it didn't take spammers long to figure out that the rules don't apply to them. ZoomMail has appropriated "legitimate interest" as its mantra knowing that the ICO won't do anything about it. Yep, David Hazzard is right, he "knows" the legislation in that ZM can do what they like, including ignoring opt-in and what legitimate interest actually means. The email in my box this morning is a rubbishing of MailChimp received unsolicited using a scraped email address. I wouldn't use a company like this for anything.

Do please use the unsubscribe, its means we can not email from this account ever again.

No multiple lists, no same email address counted loads of times.

Unsubscribing means you will not get another email from this account.

Great Service

Signed up and was called immediately to check if I was a real person.

Later ran into a problem when setting up my first newsletter. Called the help line and they fixed it within minutes.

So far I cannot say anything bad at all. If anything this is very good service!

Great team, v helpful

Great team, super helpful whenever I've had an issue.
Interesting that the negative comments are only from people who can't use an unsubscribe button. Looks like disgruntled competitors.
If you need to send emails to a list, their tool and platform works well.
Support is A+++ also. Esp for people who aren't techies, like me

Non stop spam from zoommail

This company (David Hazzard and crew) continually send out spam emails - there is no way to get off their mailing lists, contacted them directly to have myself removed and even under GDPR they continue to illegally send spam emails to a private / personal address multiple times a week. Have reported them to ICO who I hope will do something about this, and will continue to report on every occasion they send their spam emails. Regardless of what this company is peddling, I would avoid them like the plague unless you too want to bombarded with nonsense. I don't even know how they got my details as I had never signed up / opted in to them, nor had I heard of them until my inbox was full of their crap!! Another illegal move where they play ignorant. Private emails require consent from the owner to receive emails - where is this consent you've collected from myself and others David?

For your information: The rules on electronic mail marketing are in regulation 22. In short, you must not send electronic mail marketing to individuals, unless: they have specifically consented to electronic mail from you;

Hi Amit

Great you are receiving our emails.

Sorry to hear, you dont want to receive them. We'd love to know who you are so we can remove you, but we dont know your email address from this review, nor would we suggest you communicate it on a public forum.

You can remove your email address by clicking on the unsubscribe or replying to the email requesting to be unsubscribed - clicking the link is instant removal.

We only send one email a week to our list, if you are receiving multiple emails, they must be different email addresses.

We compile our list using Account Based Marketing and communicate under legitimate interest. The ICO will recommend you request a Subject Access Request, we will happily supplt this. Again this requires you communicating to us to request this.

Hopefully someway or another, using our various mechanisms we can unsubscribe you. We know its not possible to re-add you into an account when its unsubscribed so we totally comfortable when you exercise your right to be removed from our communications.

Regards
David
