Are the couriers not able to phone? what good is it when they text, saying they arrived, yet nobody is at the door? And then 3 times: I'm waiting, your order may get canceled. I won't use it again, just trouble, either they don't arrive or have half the order missing! Avoid if you can! At least you earned one star by swiftly refunding.

Hello. I have two accounts with you, one in my name: The second account I have set up on behalf of elderly neighbours who live on the top floor of the building, mobility is an issue, She is 84 yrs old and her husband is 92, it is for this reason I always have their shopping delivered to my flat and carry it up three flights of stairs to them.
Speaking personally (& as a stroke survivor) on the whole Zoom by Ocado has been a God send but lately there have been some substantial delivery disasters regarding missing items & wrong deliveries. Delivery staff are quite unhelpful & respond with the usual response 'Call them'.
Now, your staff in the call centre in Sunderland ? are usually really friendly, warm & eager to resolve problems, in the past a token voucher has been issued plus a delivery refund of a repeat order necessitated by an incomplete order to compensate for the inconvenience.
So onward to today's fiasco, I placed an order on behalf of my neighbours hours in advance today. They were celebrating an anniversary (family were gathered). Later on I realised I'd forgotten one item (a bottle of vodka) & placed another order with a within one hour time slot, so both orders would arrive close to each other.
The first order arrived, three of the five items were missing! Two bottles of wine & one bottle of diet coke were absent. I questioned the delivery guy who said quote 'there was an issue raised with the other bag......call them'!
Meanwhile I'm also alerted that my hour slot Vodka delivery will be late.
I felt almost embarrassed to call the help centre to inform them everything had been delivered, only the alcohol was missing? I'm not some chancer in a tracksuit trying it on, but even I knew there are probably people out there bereft of morals. But dear reader I was telling the truth, the lady in the call centre of would not suggest otherwise & dutifully issued me with a refund for the missing items. I had to reorder the wine & diet coke. But I have not been issued a refund for the delivery charges, also I've not been compensated for the late arrival of the second order - usually all the above would have been automatically instigated. I have spent a long time bogged down through no fault of my own trying to resolve these issues this evening which is ironic as the whole ethos/concept of Zoom by Ocado is 'Convenience'.
Footnote a recent delivery was flagged as '1 minute away', in reality it arrived 28 minutes after, this is not something I'd call to complain about as I appreciate it must be tough going at times for the delivery guys, plus the delivery guy was very apologetic. But Zoom by Ocado.....are standards declining?.....Maybe a rebrand is in order.....GLOOM by Ocado?

Of the things we ordered 80% didn’t turn up !!
Driver tried to disappear after asking for an age verification even though our wine didn’t arrive! , very suspicious.
We even had to insist on no delivery charge for three items and offered no compensation for inconvenience.
After an over night flight after our holiday we were not impressed. Hopeless

I usually like them very much, although recently they’ve been using ‘3rd party’ deliverers, who want to take photos of a passport or driving licence upon delivery!
I recently had to take up issue with them as a mis-labelled gluten-free product turned out not to be, and I was poorly for two days after and had to miss work.
They refunded the cost of the item, and offered me £15 as well.
I wasn’t looking for the Earth - it was a mistake. However, this is really not the best way forward. Stupid!!
I must amend this review, after being contacted by Ocado, after having read the above review. They’re prepared to offer an extra tenner, “ but that’s the maximum we can go to”. 😂😂

Basically this is a great service - however - they are so often out of stock of everything that I've all but given up using it. It seems they never anticipate that weekends are busy, for example - so when people really need a top up service - they have nothing left. There are often deals that you can't use as the other half of the deal is out of stock too. I am only writing this in the hope they will sort out their supply chain issues and I can use it again more often!

Avoid them! For the last few weeks there were few missing items and today they just cancelled my order after waiting for 3 hours!! I have been their regular customer for the last 2 years, but deleting the app and never ordering from them again

I placed an order through Ocado Zoom that was marked “delivered,” yet nothing arrived. When I contacted customer service, they said they would investigate but refused to issue an immediate refund.
I spoke to a supervisor, who repeated that the business needs to “care about itself as much as about the customer” and offered no resolution while they conducted their investigation. To make matters worse, they explained that they use third-party drivers whom they apparently can’t contact if something goes wrong. I have been left with no resolution, no products, and out-of-pocket expenses.
Their handling of this was unhelpful and frustrating, and I definitely won’t be using their service again. If you value reliability and proper customer care, look elsewhere.

Cancelled my order 2 minutes before the end of the delivery window without a reason. I emailed them back after I received the automated £5 voucher back (this tells me cancellations like this probably happen quite a lot) and they increased my voucher value and its validity window. I've given them an additional star as a result as this part of their customer service was prompt, although if a service like this isn't reliable then it feels like quite a significant issue...
