The experience was excellent from start to finish. The team was professional, responsive, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Everything was handled clearly and smoothly, and the payment was completed as promised. I especially appreciated how helpful and supportive the team was whenever I had questions. Lifetime Premium purchase no longer honored


Lifetime Premium purchase no longer honored
I purchased the Lifetime Premium package of the VIMAGE app through Google Play. It was sold as a one-time payment for permanent watermark-free access and all Premium features.
The app now has a new owner (ZipoApps), and a watermark has appeared that prevents me from creating new content. The app also keeps asking me to subscribe at $14.99/week for features I already paid for as a lifetime purchase.
I have contacted support multiple times and only receive automated replies. I am not asking for a refund — I am asking that my Lifetime Premium license be honored, as originally promised when I purchased it.
Customers who pay for "lifetime" access deserve to have their purchases respected, regardless of who currently owns the app.

Mixed Experience with ZipoApps—Resolved After Review**

I encountered issues with ZipoApps after purchasing a 'lifetime' version of Sun Locator Pro from Google Play. After a year, the app stopped working (Google Maps failed to load), and I learned the original developer sold it to ZipoApps. They replaced the lifetime/Pro version with a high monthly fee. When I contacted Alex three months ago, he seemed unaware of the widespread issue (supported by other reviews), suggesting steps like clearing cache and resetting, which didn’t resolve it. He escalated it to a 'team' with vague promises, but I heard nothing for two months despite follow-up emails. This could have been resolved much quicker and easier if they’d acted promptly.

After posting this review, they offered a coupon for a free download of the app (without the subscription), which now works as it used to. While I’m glad for the resolution, I’m disappointed it required public pressure to achieve, and their initial responses felt unhelpful. They’ve since asked me to take this review down, which raises concerns about their transparency. I’ve rated 2 stars due to the initial delays, with a slight improvement from the fix after pressure. I suggest caution when dealing with this company—check other reviews for similar experiences. App developers might want to consider their approach before partnering.

They are professionals and you can just tell it when you talk with them.

I just want to say Jovana made the whole process easy and simple. The professionalism was outstanding. I'll definitely do business with your company again.

If you are from India and selling your app to them using escrow.com then provide the "purpose code" in the additional info page of disbursement method in escrow.com when you add your bank. Purpose code is basically "why this payment was sent to you". Escrow.com needs to add this message in the wire transfer. Else bank might hold the amount and return the amount to escrow.com. And you'll have to withdraw the money again. You'll get your money but that will delay the time.

Smooth App Sale Experience with ZipoApps and Exceptional Support from Ivanna
I recently had the opportunity to sell my Google app to ZipoApps, and I must say it was a great experience overall. The manager, Ivanna, was exceptional throughout the process—always in touch, professional, and incredibly supportive. Her communication ensured that everything went smoothly and any concerns were addressed promptly.

The process did take a bit longer than I initially expected, possibly due to the Christmas and New Year holidays, but this was understandable and did not impact the quality of the experience. Once things picked up, the rest of the transaction was seamless.

Thieves

Thieves. They bought Sun Locator app but thinking with a "golden egg" point of view, they now charge 11$ a week for the pro version and first of all, don't give previous owners of the pro version any free access nor they refund them.
6 employees (see crunchbase website and look for zipoapps page) but they answer a way they're a huge company with a department and a team handling such issues. They're liars and thieves. Spread the info and never buy an app from them. Here their kind of answer :

If I could give it a zero star

Update: I have been fully refunded. Thank you!

I could give it a zero star, I would. I had no idea I was on a $15.8
9 subscription for an app I deleted because it didn't work. Usually, that's all you would have to do. I downloaded an app that suppose to recover deleted messages and it didn't so I un-installed the app. Didn't think anything about it until I noticed a $15.89 charge on my account weekly for 9 weeks adding up to $143.01 that I was unaware of. Come to find out it when I checked it was for an app that I un-installed. I tried reaching out to this company and they refused to return my money. This is such a scam and I'm going to do everything in my power to not give up.

AVOID

AVOID! I (very tech savvy, early adopter) somehow accidentally, unintentionally opted for recurring premium at more than $12 A WEEK. Read that again. That's $48+ a month! For a compass! Ran for 11 weeks. Disputed the charges with Google. We'll see. Clear example of something that may not be technically a scam (though should be), but is certainly scammy. Now watch the dev say "We're sorry you didn't find the value proposition worthwhile," as if they have no idea what they're up to.

EDIT: The vendor wrote back and said "there's no scam here," Making it clear they did not read my email very carefully. Or they don't understand the the implication that something can be scammy and still not technically be a scam. Like "finders keepers." It's not really stealing. It's not really illegal. But it sure is scuzzy.

Anyway, I used the app maybe twice (having no idea I was on the premium version)! They should at least issue a refund for the weeks I didn't use it.

Successfully sold them my app

A few months ago I've checked my email and found letter from ZippoApps (their another company name is Rounds.com).

What was very good is a very clear process:
1. we discussed what apps do they want and what I have
2. we send them monthly revenue and some other metrics
3. they did a quick code-review during a Zoom call
4. we signed an agreement
5. apps were transferred and money were received.

What could be better:
- long time waiting for code verification after the app transfer (8 days instead of 2 days expected)
- long time waiting for the money wire transfer (9 days instead)

Finally, everything was good.
