Quick delivery, good prodict and great and personal service! Can recommend to everyone who want an easy and cheaper alternative to an electric bike!

Garbage customer service. I've emailed numerous times and called during their tiny 2 hour window they claim to have service options and they have never responded. I even messaged on Instagram and nothing.

TL;DR: It is a very good product, it delivers great assistance with a solid range. My commute is way easier and fun when using the Zipforce. I have use the Zipforce Distance for around 150Km and I can say that I have gotten enough value for what I paid.

PROS:
* Not really noisy. I haven't noticed people staring at me while I cycle. It emits some sort of electrical purr.
* It provides great assistance when going uphill, even at mid assistance levels
* Does not get warm with regular use
* Great battery life. At the end of my week I get 40+ km on a single charge and I have something like 20% of battery left. I commute back and forth of an area that has some steep uphills and I use an average assistance level of 4.
* I haven't notice any serious wear after 150+ Km. neither on my frontal wheel, nor on the Zipforce's roller.
*Instead of buying a low tier electrical scooter, I get to use my favorite bike.

CONS:
* My only serious complain is Bluetooth connectivity with the PAS sensor. When I first got my Zipforce, there was an issue that required me to turn off and On the system several times before the PAS sensor was detected. I had to send my Zipforce for repairs and after that, it has been working great.
* Although a person with zero mechanical skills (as myself) can mount it, the process can be a bit annoying
* You need to adjust the mount until you find the right spot that provides you the best assistance. It took me 3 tries to find the sweet spot (proper alignment and height with respect to the wheel)
* The app needs some UI improvements. The slider to select the assistance level is a bit hard to use when riding.
* The Zipforce is messy! If it is rainy, you will get your shoes and pants all splashed. I installed a mud guard and still, I get my shoes all muddy.
* The customer service could improve. They can take hours or up to a week for get a reply. Although I must remark that they took for them 2 days to fix my Zipforce

Simple and efficient, i love it.
Am happy with my zipforce kit, my bike is more fun now.

Very adaptable... With a bit of tinkering it can be used on any bike or trailer

The product is solidly built and the support staff are reactive and helpful. However there are unresolved issues with the App and excessive wear on the drive roller and the tire.
The App home screen invites the user to turn on the Zipforce and select the unit. However if you start the App before starting the Zipforce (or during it’s startup sequence), the App will more often than not ask for the password again and display incorrect Settings information such as 0% battery charge (when the battery is in fact full), indicate that the Bluetooth sensor is disabled (when it's not) or indicate that the Reverse mode is deactivated (despite being previously activated) etc. Fortunately the settings in the Zipforce itself do not reflect the status indicated in the App.
To be able to see the correct settings, you have to wait a minute or so after the Zipforce has completed its startup sequence and detected the pedal sensor before starting the App.

There is also an issue with wear on the drive roller and the bike tire. I live at the top of a steep incline and after several runs up and down the hill about a third of the tread on the roller has been worn away along with half a millimeter or so of rubber on the tire. Using regenerative braking when going downhill seems to exacerbate the problem.
Similar concerns have been raised by another reviewer (Herrmann on 26 April 2023).

As expected quick and easy! Very good product! Big fun to use!

Zipforce is great! You can't compare it with a expensive E Bike. It will be a good solution for special cases. In my case for using a folding bike on my way to work without engine. On the way back i take a trailer for my child at the kindergarden and use zipforce to ride up the Hill. Another Day i put in on my normal bike. So it makes you really flexible. It is not really silent but this is okay.

I bought the Zipforce Slim and it's installed on some junk old mountain bike. I like this thing a lot, it's easy to install and it gives a good help. Easy install, works great, shame it cannot be bought in the UK.

This portable, electric bike motor works very well. Delivery was swift.

Very quick and personally support to email questions. Prompt and quick repairs. Free transport service and all this for an ecologically perfect product. I'm excited!

Great to electrify the favourite bike. Perfect, but only if there is not too steep ascend. Avoid wet gravel roads.

This Zipforce is good but the noice is too high.

I took my time to test the device and admit that I am really happy with it! I never had the desire to buy an electric bike, because I like biking with muscle power even on long distance trips. So an electric bike was never an alternative for me. But with zipforce I have found a real compromise between "bio" bike and electric bike. I can leave the engine at home, when I quickly go to the city, and I can take it with me and switch it on and off on long distance trips (according to the terrain), in order to extend my daily range. It is the perfect solution for me. In addition, I know the friction roller technique from my nearly 60 years old "Velo Solex" and have therefore good experience with that technique. Great that this method now has been electrified and made available to upgrade any regular bike. Before buying the device, I had some questions to the support, which were answered immediately and very friendly. Thanks to all who have invented and engineered this fantastic product!

Compact, easy to assemble and quite efficient on the road. The customers support is of premium. The parcel is swift and replies to questions sent by mail are both quick and valuable.
Two little flaws:
That’s more noisy than the average.
I tested both options. There is no doubt that the normal installation should be on the rear wheel for comfort and stability. But for safety reasons it would be better to design the reverse mode to be set by a positive and secure mechanical control rather than by means of the app.
