I was able to receive the information quickly. When I needed assistance, the customer service representative was quick to respond to me and we were able to remedy the situation in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Zilocar to others.

Sure wish I had known about these other issues with the $5 “trial” when I used it in September. I mainly needed one report, but tried to get two additional because it said I was entitled to three. Of course, once they had my $5, they only wanted to provide one report. Okay, the one I needed wasn’t helpful, with very limited information. So I immediately made sure I wasn’t going to be billed anymore, and chalked it up to a $5 lesson. But no … Zilocar keeps charging my credit card for the $99 year-long membership. Now my credit card company says they need to cancel my card and issue a new one so Zilocar can’t keep charging me! What a mess!
REGARDING ZILOCAR’s RESPONSE BELOW: Did anyone notice how they didn’t address at all the fact that I was billed over and over even though I canceled? I haven’t even been on the site since a few hours after I first gave them my money! Also, just a couple weeks ago Zilocar posted here that they have a satisfaction guarantee. No evidence of that with my experience!!

I used the $5.00 trial and was perfectly satisfied with the results I got back with the report. However, my understanding was that after 5 days I would have the option of purchasing a subscription, not paying for a subscription with a trial and then paying $99.00 before the trial period ended. besides, I only needed one report. I had no interest in a subscription. Quite deceiving. My bank alerted me that fraud might have been involved because Zilocar tried to pull the $99 from my account. Not happening. I changed accounts and my bank is reporting the transaction as fraud.

I just purchase the $5.00 trail and try to get some information regarding buying a car. I did not received any information or email after i paid. DO not trust this company and i do have question to Trustpilot do you really give this company 4 start for what?

I was at a dealership to buy a used car in Berger, Lagos (Nigeria). I needed a quick history of the Toyota Tacoma, searched Google and found Zilocar. I got the information I wanted very fast. I actually forgot to cancel the trial, and was debited for a renewal a few weeks after. I sent an email after the debit to my card, and I received an immediate response from Zilocar, with a refund being approved—swift business.

The number one thing I like about this company is it a customer service? They were very responsive in a timely manner and very professional. The report I received was prompt and was able to help me make a very good decision on purchasing a car much less expensive than the competitors

Zilocar is a ripoff. Their $5.00 trial is a ripoff. Their reports are a ripoff; I paid for a service report, the one they sent was missing nine years of service records, a.k.a 97,090 miles. The service records it did provide only gave dates, and not what was serviced, i.e., were they oil changes or engine repairs?
Their trial states $5.00 for unlimited reports for up to 3 days, if you do not cancel they charge $99. Well, I paid the $5 and I got a useless report (see above) and a notice that I was only entitled to one report unless I pay $99. This was in less than an hour of signing up for the 3 day trial.

Using ZILOCAR stopped me from buying at 4 cars where the odometer was rolled back, some were rolled back twice

Dirt bike. So many unsafe cites out there but zilocar is safe, fast, and reliable.

We were in a hurry. Trying to beat out another person vying for the same car. We received the report very fast. It contained great detail, and we confirmed it all once we met the owner.

You get to have a trial and pull a report. When you pull a second report they do NOT let you know that you are being billed $99. It simply bills you without stating the amount or a confirmation. That is rapacious. It is also triple the price of other providers of the same service. NOT a good deal and tricky billing methods. Sneeky and not really honest. The report is good though but that info comes from a common provider that all these companies use.

I appreciated the ability to do unlimited searches with a monthly fee and the depth of the reports I received.

Has all the basic information, but with $29.95 is about $16 cheaper than Car fax. Good if you buy a used car, to ensure no accidents and regular maintenance.

On the other hand Car Fax has a bit more detail.

Overall, these reports are way to expensive, because once the software is set up, the cost for the provider is almost zero per report. These are huge moneymakers and a Ripoff for the consumer.

Great product! Just like the big company that provides this service, but at a discount price.

There are only 3 things you want in a car history report: 1) Accuracy, 2) Low price and 3) Speed. That's what I got with Zilocar.
