It was my first time ordering from Ziiaonline. First of all I was so impressed by the huge selection that is available on their website and how easy it is to customise your outfit. I ordered two outfits from them. I have received them today and they are perfect. They have been adjusted and stitched for my height. I have to say I am super impressed by the care and effort put into the order. In the past I have had an awful time ordering online from other websites so I am always cautious. I definitely recommend ordering your outfits from here without any hesitation. I have already placed some more orders with them.

I would not recommend purchasing from…

EDIT to respond to owner:
You’ve said twice that I “repeatedly” asked to see the outfit, but you’ve failed to mention that you didn’t respond until I chased you. I didn’t message repeatedly for no reason, I literally followed up because you hadn’t sent the video I requested. When you finally did respond nearly two weeks later, you still didn’t send all the videos I asked for. Please don’t frame that as though you were doing me a favour.

You also keep saying the order went through “stages,” yet you never communicated that to me as the customer. If you’re relying on that as justification for refusing cancellation, then why wasn’t I updated that it was in progress? That’s something you’ve avoided addressing from my very first emails. You also don’t provide any clear timeline for cancellation in your terms, which is something that should be clearly stated.

At no point did I say there was “no communication.” I stated the facts:

- I placed an order

- received an automated email confirmation, and nothing further unless I reached out myself. The only communication beyond that was when I had to repeatedly ask for a video....something you keep bringing up yourself.

I’m also unclear why you’ve claimed you won both disputes or they 'sided' with you. I closed one myself and reopened it due to the ongoing lack of communication. Both the bank and Klarna are currently siding with me, largely because you failed to respond to them as well. That’s the reason this process has dragged on. It’s incorrect to say they sided with you.

The fact that I had to sell the outfit to recover my money is unacceptable. Publicly promoting a “refund or replace” policy as though it’s exceptional, when it’s standard consumer practice, doesn’t change how this situation was handled.

We both have the full email chain as evidence. I remained calm throughout this process despite having to open two disputes, but customers are not going to accept inconsistent terms, poor communication, or policies applied without clarity.

Your service throughout this situation has been extremely disappointing. Klarna had to step in because basic information, including your returns address, which I requested multiple times and even offered to cover the cost for...was never provided.

Of course you will not respond to this email because you know i'm right. I will happily keep going because there are points that you didn't even answer. You've got your payment, which is great, but this doesn't mean I'm not going to add this on social media. I'm not a liar, no have I ever had to do this, but I'm tired of Asian business businesses thinking that they're always right with nothing to back them up with.

Review:
I would not recommend purchasing from this brand based on my recent experience.

I placed an order for an unstitched outfit on 8th January. On 25th January, I requested cancellation as my event was no longer going ahead. During that time, I received no communication beyond the initial confirmation email, no progress updates or dispatch notifications.

The website does not clearly state any cancellation timeframe. It mentions that “orders cannot be cancelled once production begins” and that a cancellation fee may be deducted during production. However, it does not define when production begins, nor was I offered the option to pay a cancellation fee! Nowhere on the website did it state a cancellation time frame (for example 7–14 days). As a customer, I reasonably assumed I could cancel before dispatch.

Interestingly, my order was dispatched the day after I emailed requesting cancellation. I was then informed that it could no longer be cancelled because it had passed “final quality checks” and was being prepared for dispatch.

When I attempted to resolve the matter, I was told I would need to return the item at my own cost and have a £5 fee deducted, despite having tried to cancel prior to dispatch and despite unclear cancellation terms. When I asked for the returns address under reasonable conditions, it was not provided. And I asked MULTIPLE times for a returns address.

I escalated the matter through Klarna. After weeks of back and forth and no resolution, I ultimately sold the outfit myself and paid Klarna to close the dispute and to not deal with this merchant.

Clear policies and transparent communication are essential when running an online business. Unfortunately, this experience lacked both and resulted in nearly two months of unnecessary stress.

For clarity, we are setting out the facts of this order.

You placed your order on 8 January.
On 19 January, after repeatedly requesting to see the item, we shared a video of the exact outfit with you. At that stage, no cancellation was requested and no indication was given that you did not wish to proceed.
The order therefore continued as agreed.

Following this, the piece went through sourcing, quality control, and international shipment to the UK - all standard steps required to fulfil the confirmed order. Your cancellation request was received only after these stages had been completed and the item was scheduled for dispatch.

The claim that there was “no communication” is incorrect. The requested video was provided, and no cancellation followed at that time. Had the order been cancelled then, the subsequent logistics and international costs would not have been incurred.

This matter was independently reviewed through the payment provider’s dispute process on two separate occasions. Both reviews were decided in our favour based on the full documented timeline, communication records, and delivery confirmation. These decisions were made by the financial institutions assessing the case, not by us.

The suggestion that this was handled unfairly does not align with the evidence reviewed by two independent assessments. The customer is not automatically right in every situation, and this case is a clear example of that principle in practice.

As the disputes have been concluded, this matter is closed from our side.

I was honestly quite nervous ordering a…

I was honestly quite nervous ordering a Pakistani outfit online, especially for an important occasion, because it can be such a hit and miss.

But ZIIA made the whole process way easier than I expected. Communication was clear, the outfit arrived when they said it would, and the stitching and quality were really good.

What stood out most for me was Afifa’s attention to detail. It actually feels like you’ve got a personal shopper / stylist helping you rather than just ordering from a page and hoping for the best.

You can tell she understands all the usual issues people face when ordering and really tries to avoid them. I’d definitely order again and recommend ZIIA to anyone who’s unsure.

Trustworthy and reliable

Absolutely Disgraceful Experience – Avoid at All Costs

Ziia Online has been, in my personal experience, one of the most unprofessional and shockingly unethical companies I have ever dealt with. After years of being a loyal customer—and recommending them to countless friends and family—the way they handled my last order was nothing short of disgusting.

Before their newly introduced “Refund or Replace” rule, I purchased an outfit for over £500 that arrived damaged. Instead of resolving the issue promptly or professionally, the company dragged their feet and showed zero accountability. I was forced to go through Citizens Advice and even threaten legal action just to receive the refund and return-cost coverage that any reputable business would have issued immediately.

The entire process was appalling and showed a complete lack of integrity, respect, and basic customer care. After everything I had to endure, I will never purchase from Ziia Online again and have strongly advised all my friends and family to steer clear.

No consumer should ever have to fight this hard to be treated fairly.

Update: response to ziia’s reaponse
From day one, I asked for the return details so I could send the outfit back, and it was you who made the process difficult. Under consumer regulations, customers are not responsible for return postage when an item is faulty or not as described—yet you insisted that I pay for it.

Please stop misleading your customers. The refund was never reversed, and I have proof of this.

I stand by my review and strongly advise other customers to avoid this company.

For anyone reading this review and trying to understand what happened, it’s important we share the facts from our side.

The order in question was a high-value designer outfit of over £500. When the customer reported it as “damaged”, we followed the same process we do for any fault on a designer piece:
– we requested clear photo evidence,
– we contacted the designer and followed their claims procedure, and
– we offered the customer options, including a repair via the designer and a goodwill discount.

Because we work with independent designers and do not produce these pieces ourselves, there are limits to what we can promise in terms of exact repair timelines or discounts. In this case, the customer declined the options offered and chose instead to escalate the matter through our payment provider.

The case was then escalated via our payment provider. At that stage, a refund was initially issued to the customer while the dispute was under review. Despite receiving this refund, the customer repeatedly refused to return the outfit to us, insisting instead that we first provide packaging materials and attempting to keep both the product and the refund.

Because this fell outside of our standard and fair returns process, we escalated the matter further. After a full review of the evidence – including proof of the item’s condition at dispatch and the communication regarding the return – the payment provider ultimately reversed the refund in our favour, and the outfit was then returned to us in line with our policy.

As a small business, we absolutely stand by supporting customers when there is a genuine issue, and that includes working with designers to repair or replace faulty items wherever possible.
At the same time, we have a responsibility to protect our business and our designers from situations where a customer expects to keep both the product and the refund.

For clarity, we have a clearly defined “Refund or Replace” policy published on our website. This exists to protect our customers on any genuine faults or damages and to make sure there is a fair, transparent process for everyone involved – the customer, the designers we work with, and our team.

Our aim is always to resolve real issues promptly and fairly, within the boundaries of that policy.
