Battle to get a refund Website now unavailable
Ordered stupidly from a Facebook ad, a black jumpsuit which took 3 weeks to arrive from south east Asia country unspecified but despite being the largest size was way too small and had no return slip. It was in a non stretch velveteen not mentioned in the description so impossible to move in it. I asked for a refund and a return label
Zhivox firstly suggested that I keep it and have a 50% discount on another order.
Having realised that the so called 70% discount was too good to be true and that I wasn’t going to get anywhere with the BOT I was dealing with, I contacted my bank. Barclays put in place an investigation which took 6 weeks and I had to send them all my correspondence including a subsequent threat that unless I withdrew the chargeback they would not refund my money £69. ( Not exactly a bargain)
At this point my bank asked for the payment back but the zhivox bank tried to take the payment AGAIN. This was stopped by Barclays and Barclays subsequently refunded my money now having proof of an attempt to defraud.
Unfortunately this is an example of misleading sales information and not actual fraud so it takes a lot longer to investigate.
I’m determined not to order from any textiles company as they are all based in China and their sizes are ridiculously small. My size in Chinese would be 2XL and they only supply L or XL and the dimensions and proportions are wrong.
Stick to Amazon as their complaint process is excellent and money refunded immediately.
