The designs were nice but it was really frustrating that initially everything fit in one page and when you download it is split into two. Also, VERY expensive for what it is.

Regarding your inquiry, to modify your CV from two (2) pages to only one (1), we would suggest you follow these steps:
Start by logging into your account using your credentials (email and password). Then, navigate to the section where your resume or profile is stored, and choose the particular resume or profile you want to edit. Next, Click on the pencil icon to enter the edit mode for your CV.
Once there, look for the paintbrush icon, which is located between "Templates" and "Add Section" on the right side of the window. Click on it to access the "Design and Formatting" area. In this section, we suggest you focus on the margin spacing, paragraph spacing, and line spacing options. Reducing these settings can help you condense your content to fit everything on one page. To see how your changes look, you can use the "Print" option. This will give you a preview of the modified document and help you ensure everything fits well. Lastly, please don’t forget to click on "Save and continue/Finish resume" to make sure all your changes are stored.
By following these steps, you should be able to create a polished one-page CV. However, please keep in mind that if there is too much information on the resume, it might be more than one page regardless of the changes on the spacing.

I signed up for a 14-day access pass in August 2023. After that, I did not log in, use the service, or download any documents.
I recently discovered (in July 2025) that Zety had been automatically charging me approximately €23.70 every four weeks for more than two years, totaling around €590.
While I understand that subscriptions can auto-renew, the issue here is the complete lack of billing transparency. After the initial 14-day period, Zety stopped all communication. I did not receive a single invoice, receipt, or billing notification during those two years.
Without regular billing emails or receipts, there was no practical way to notice that the subscription was still active. This absence of communication effectively concealed the ongoing charges.
When I contacted support, I approached the situation reasonably. I acknowledged that I could have noticed this earlier and was willing to accept partial responsibility. However, my request for even a partial refund was denied. No refund was offered.
Constructive feedback for Zety:
Sending regular invoices or receipts is standard practice for legitimate SaaS services. It ensures transparency and allows customers to track ongoing subscriptions. Failing to do so creates the impression of a system designed to go unnoticed rather than a service designed to be used.
While I acknowledge that subscription services may renew automatically, this case raises serious concerns regarding transparency and compliance with standard consumer protection principles.
Specifically:
I did not receive any invoices, receipts, or billing notifications during the entire period of over two years.
No reminders, renewal notices, or ongoing billing communications were provided after the initial subscription period.
The absence of billing documentation prevented any reasonable opportunity to detect or verify the ongoing charges.
This lack of communication constitutes a failure of basic transparency standards expected from subscription-based services. Regular billing notifications and receipts are a fundamental requirement, enabling consumers to monitor and control recurring payments.
