we use zettle for the payment whick…

we use zettle for the payment whick controled by paypal, they holding our money with out any reason, dont use zettle with paypal, still try to get our money they liy to me telling withdraw issue ot security reason , just use customers money we will stop using this company and complain to ombudsmant.

Advise not to use Zettle

My zettle terminal which is used probable once a month threw up a BL error. Was told by zettle support this cant be fixed and wanted just short of £150 for a replacement. It appears the BL fault is quite common and for a reason that can only be a coincidence appears after the machines warranty has expired.
So, no zettle I wont spend another £150 with you to have this happen again

Gone down the pan

The account seems to have merged with PayPal, the app updated and didn't work after being assured I didn't need to do anything, apparently I did as I couldn't withdraw any funds. The customer service advisor the proceeded to argue with me. Not being able to withdraw the money for nearly a week was caused me financial hardship

I'm a taxi owner and driver

I'm a taxi owner and driver. I have used Zettle for a few years. I can not, in all honesty, recommend this service. About half the time the card reader is very slow connecting with my phone and I have to turn the reader off and on again to get it to connect. Very slow. On top of this sometimes the Zettle payment is late coming through. PayPal, formerly owned by Elon Musk I understand, paid a billion pounds for Zettle. The performance of the system just isn't good enough as far as I am concerned.

IMPOSSIBLE to onboard to Zettle…

I am still trying to onboard to Zettle after 2 weeks. Their sales guy is sensible and helpful but their process is truly AWFUL. I have uploaded the same ID and proof of address documents many times. PayPal has me set up, but Zettle (same company) cannot see or recognise ID docs so insist on them all again. Their uploader failed to accept docs. Then when that worked, Zettle says the "restrictions on my account" have been lifted. And also, that "they haven't been lifted". Which they cannot explain. I now have to wait 2-4 working days - which is too late for my event. I have spoken to FIVE separate individuals just today - none of them know the conversation with the previous colleague so everything has to be repeated again. Put on hold many times. Still no fix. Cannot get through to a manager. RUBBISH COMPANY. IF YOU CAN, PICK SOMEONE ELSE.

Stopped my account because of CBD soft drink on our menu

I was genuinely shocked when I found out that zettle paused my account!
They send me an email which went to the spam folder; no attempt to contact me in any other way. Transactions were going through but zettle stopped sending money to my bank account!!!
Reason for this is CBD soft drink on our menu. This drink is being sold by major retailers as M&S, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Boots etc.. completely legal and unregulated.
Up to this date they owe me 10K. For a small cafe significant amount of money. Customer service doesn’t really care, no sympathy or understanding of the situation. Had to take the drink of the menu, send confirmation emails and proofs and still no money back. Disgraceful approach from their side. Looking for a different provider!!!

Need to fix the technical issue

For 1 year i can't have zettle none of the team in US and UK can fix the issue the message is the email is familiar outside the US that i never left. On another note we have another business for 6 months couldn't just add a simple employee users again nobody is able to fix it .

Machine worked well for 8 months then it just stopped working. Infact justt after a data update down load. Contacted zettle. Had to take 2 videos. One of me holding down the start button, one of me pushing pin in the reset. Told to try a different cable which I did. Told to waitwhile they discuss.This is the second same message. I had to chase up the first one. Quote - Hi Angela.

It is a Scam where as they usually ask only under 18 for 5-10 pounds to help fight knife crime in the UK. The bank account is off shore. Some of the money may go to knife crime. But when I asked for a charity number they got sketch and didn’t have one. Then upon looking them up many others have had the same reviews

Non-existent customer service

System went down two Saturdays in a row meaning loss of business and all you get is a sorry we fixed it quickly but then happens again same time next weekend. This time no replies.

6 years of doing business

The issue is I have been working with PayPal here as a business for 6 years and after PayPal has changed from PayPal here to zettle, zettle never approved my account and when I spoke with the customer service team member today 06.04.23 the gentleman cleared that zettle will not accept me as a customer saying that I don't meet zettles criteria and when I asked if there was a reason? He told me that he can't give me that detail and I should look for a new card reader provider for my business.
After that I called PayPal customer service the lady had a shock from what i told her but then told me that they dont have no say in zettle's decisions.
So clearly and respectfully I been told to f*** off my customs was not wanted.
It doesn't make no sence as 2 or 3 weeks ago PayPal called me and send me £35 so I can buy the card reader and they didn't want the change to effect me.
Funny part is we are a team of 24 traders who go to different festivals around the UK and I got all of them to sign up for PayPal here back in the day.
Thank god they haven't applied to zettle yet and I have just made an agreement with sum up so I will probably get them all to sigh up to sum up at least I will get some pay for each referral.
I liked PayPal during Elons management even after till you guys came along I can see they have made a massive mistake working with zettle.

Awful Company, Held money, no explanation. AVOID

Awful, I took a payment for an event, which has now been and gone, positive customer feedback received. Zettle have kept my money on hold £292.50 for 3 months now. I have chased several times and they have provided no explanation what so ever, other than its on hold for 120 days and i cant take any further payments. Terrible product, terrible customer service.

Zettle has not giving me money of £42043

I Have business card machine account with Zettle. My bank has close my account in July 2022. Then after i have update the new account in my Zettle but unfortunately my second banbk account also become closed by my bank and Zettle has transfer the money in my closed account. (Banks will notice a closed account and direct deposits will be returned to the sender or declined. How long does it take for money to bounce back from a closed account? Each bank has its own policies in place, but some sources supply a rough estimate of 5 to 10 days until funds are returned), I have send bank statement many times to Zettle to prove that my bak account is close so money must return to your account. but they still not Deposite money to my current working account or either rely my email.

Zettle have sent me two dirty and damaged Terminals

Zettle have sent me two Zettle Terminals in the past week ... the first terminalwe received had fingerprints on the screen, a damaged screen protector that had been punctured through to the actual screen and scratches on the surface.

We had a tough time with a representative named "zelly" who put us on hold when it wasn't necessary.

Zettle then sent the replacement reader using an incomplete address, meaning we didn't have the required terminal for the weekend trade.

We received the new zettle terminal today and it also has fingerprints, scuff marks and scratches on the surface.

When you pay £200+ for point-of-sale terminals, you expect them to arrive with no damage, no dirt and no scuff marks ... I was told that the zettle workers 'use gloves' but they are not disinfecting or cleaning their products before sending out to us, clearly ... and we do not like to recieve dirty, non disinfected products while Covid is still a reality.

Disgusting.

Zettle by Paypal have terrible customer…

Zettle by Paypal have terrible customer service. It took 1 hour and 40 minutes on hold to get through to them about a missing card reader ordered over a week earlier only to be told it had been returned to them and I would have to pay a further £150 to get it. The customer service really does not give a dam about customers, just taking your money. We are moving to a different supplier.

Slow refund policy & customer service polite but ineffectual

Ordered a card reader online that came with an adaptor, printer and dock on 22/03/2022. It cost me £238.00. But coz they didn't acknowledge my order or even send me an order number, I thought, 'what's goin' on?' I started wondering if I was dealing with a bona fide company, so decided to cancel it. When I contacted them they said it'd already been dispatched. I got the card reader but I wasn't at home when it came, if I was I would've rejected it and told the courier to return it. As it was, a member of the family accepted delivery. So, I returned the card reader, unopened, via Royal Mail. That was 9 weeks ago and I still ain't got my money back. They're quick to take my money, late about acknowledging my order, continually bombard me with emails about how great they and their products are but don't wanna return my money, even though I returned their card reader and stuff to 'em 9 weeks ago. Yeah, gimme back my money, like pronto!!!!!!
