Everything has been great working with ZenMarket. If I had any complaint, I felt the broker fee was a bit much, but I’m happy with the product I’ve ordered. I have a second order that I won on an auction, and I fear the broker fee will be more than the cost of the actual auction I won.

Some information from new users to avoid them fake discounts from Zenmarket.
Sometimes Zenmarket makes matketing actions and offer "cashback" on different marketplace. Please don't belive them because it is not a cashback/discount in normal understanding. Normaly "cashback" means that you receive some money after payment or after delivery. Sometimes - at the end of the month (if it cashbank by the payment card). But not here.
1. You will not receive money on your account in any case - you will receive Zenpoints. And this Zenponts you can use only.... to pay for parcel!
2. You will not receive it after payment, or when even ariives on the stock or even in the end of the month... You will receive it when... you sent your items abroad the Japan!
What does it means for the user, It means that if you really want to use this fake "cashback" - you must to buy something else and sent it in another parcle (not together with item which follow under the "cashback")
If you take in mind that comission on the Zenmarket is highest on the market (800 instead 500 on the other proxies), it means that you overpay as minimum 600 yen (because you will buy as minimum 2 items). But if you take in a mind that you will buy several items to make your shipping cheaper - your overpayment will be "over" your discounts. Don't let yourself be "swindled"

Worked much better than I could've ever expected. 10/10. Everything went exactly as described and the entire process was flawless for me. The site is also easy to navigate and use.

I am writing this review to warn other buyers, especially media collectors from overseas. I placed an order worth over 130,000 JPY (~100,000 JPY for 4 limited Blu-ray sets of the Monogatari anime series, and over 30,000 JPY for shipping and DDP fees).
Since I paid for DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) upfront, I fully expected a smooth delivery with all taxes and customs procedures handled. However, ZenMarket failed to provide any warnings beforehand about hidden tax/customs surcharges or the strict regulations regarding shipping media items via FedEx to my country. Only AFTER I paid the entire amount and the package arrived in Vietnam was I shocked to learn about massive additional fees and complex administrative requirements.
Despite paying over 30,000 JPY for shipping and prepaid taxes, FedEx held my package and forced me, an individual collector, to personally clear heavy cultural inspection paperwork with government departments.
When issues arise, ZenMarket leaves customers stranded to bear 100% of the financial loss and hassle. Returning the package is impossible without forfeiting all funds and paying double shipping. For a 130,000 JPY transaction, this is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. ZenMarket collects high service and DDP fees but offers zero transparency or protection. Buyers beware!

While it may be expensive sometimes they have so many options if you’re willing to wait a little extra time for your items it’ll save you some cash and they have amazing sellers on here. Couldn’t have asked for this to be shipped safer, faster and all around amazing. Thank you guys for helping me get these cards and weekly jump to America!!

They sided with the seller on mercari for false advertising instead of seeing my proof photos of the original listing. The item did not match the original listing, so it should not have been accepted by Zenmarket. Poor service.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER. THEY TOLD ME THEY CANNOT PURCHASE THE ITEM FOR ME BECOZ I AM AN OVERSEA CUSTOMER!? ISN'T IT THE POINT OF THEIR EXISTENCE? IT TOOK DAYS FOR THEM TO UPDATE THE STATUS, NOT TO MENTION I HAVE TO CHASE THEM MULTIPLE TIMES!!!!!!

I just received my first package from Japan containing a vintage Seiko watch. Everything arrived in excellent condition, and the item fully matches the description and auction photos. I want to highlight the packaging—it was incredibly secure and well-protected, ensuring the watch arrived without a single scratch.
I am very satisfied with ZenMarket's service; everything is clear and straightforward. For future buyers from Ukraine, I highly recommend inspecting your package directly at the post office before signing for it. If any issues or shipping damages occur, it is much easier to resolve them on the spot rather than after acceptance. Thank you to the ZenMarket team for the quality work, I will definitely order again!

I've spent approximately $17,782 USD (about ¥2.88 million) with ZenMarket since March, so this review is based on extensive experience using their service—not a single purchase.
Overall, I've been satisfied with ZenMarket, which is why this experience was so disappointing.
I recently created a parcel using the "Leave items at warehouse" packing strategy and selected AVIA Small as my preferred shipping method. My parcel contained several vintage wristwatches and one much larger alarm clock.
When the warehouse packed my parcel, they removed several of the smaller watches while leaving the single largest item—the alarm clock—in the box. As a result, the parcel value dropped below the Japan Post threshold for U.S. shipments, my preferred shipping method was no longer available, and I was automatically moved to a much more expensive shipping option.
The frustrating part is that this outcome appeared entirely avoidable. Removing the one oversized alarm clock instead would likely have allowed the original shipment to remain within the intended size limits while preserving the parcel value required for my selected shipping method.
I spent nearly two weeks working with customer support to explain this. Every representative was polite and professional, and I appreciate the time they spent responding. However, despite multiple escalations to management, ZenMarket refused to make a simple goodwill exception. Rather than correcting the parcel by removing the obvious oversized item, they insisted I pay a repacking fee to undo a packing decision that ultimately created a significantly higher shipping cost.
I understand that ZenMarket has internal procedures, and they repeatedly explained that the parcel was packed according to those procedures. My disappointment is not that they followed a policy—it's that there was no willingness to apply practical judgment or customer service when the result clearly conflicted with the shipping outcome I intended.
For a company that has received nearly ¥2.88 million in business from me in just a few months, refusing to make a small customer-service exception over a repacking fee was disappointing. The issue was never the fee itself—it was the unwillingness to resolve a situation that could have been handled much more reasonably.
If you use ZenMarket, I strongly recommend leaving detailed packing instructions for every parcel. Do not assume the warehouse will remove the most logical item if a parcel exceeds shipping limits. Be extremely specific about which items should be left behind and which shipping method you want to preserve.

Always fantastic.
I have only used a couple of times so far. But everything I have ordered has arrived as expected, and in good shape and time. Always packed well.
Thank you so much!

They answer all my questions. The costs were better than other platforms, and the delivery service was affordable. It took almost 2.5 weeks to arrive but really worth it.
Take note: they add 500 yen as a tariff for every product you add to your cart, even if the product costs less than that amount.

Slow service, longer delivery times than the competition. Package assembly service can take up to a week due to labor shortages. Waiting times are too long, but their conversion rate is higher.
