You get what you pay for, I guess.

The place did not have most of the amenities advertised on ZenHotels.com when I booked. The place also charged me an additional $17 for a balance remaining after I paid through Zen Hotels. A fridge was advertised. No fridge. No ice machine either. Wifi was advertised also and Wifi didn't work. I stayed at Lodge on the River in Bullhead City, AZ.

prepaid booking

I had booked a room and paid in advance. Due to a situation with my husband's health, I had to change the date. Zen Hotel's support were very proactive from the first time I contacted them. Support kept me updated during the time they tried to resolve the issue. In the end, their supplier couldn't change the date but did agree to refund my money. I found them very professional and offer excellant customer service. I would highly recommend this group.

Heartless Customer care

If this establishment group is genuine in its concern for dissatisfied guests, they would provide us with their contact information, instead of just scoring system KPIs to keep their response ratings up.

Business stay in Ankara

I was booking my favourite hotel in Anakara when I noticed that it was no longer available on my usual hotel booking service. I then looked for it online and found Zenhotel. Actually ZenHotel showed to me that I had an equivalently convenient hotel very close by but 150€ cheaper on the week. Hotel was good, staff very gentle, services OK. Thanks Zen Hotels!

Hotel worth staying

Aloft Pakuwon city Surabaya hotel is only 8 months old and located next to Pakuwon city Mall and only few metres from Park Shanghai, a bustling and popular eating and insta-worthy place. What stands out is the level of service of their staff members are next level and I don’t hesitate to give 10/10 or 5 star google review. From the moment you arrive, the door greeter, reception and concierge are all very friendly and helpful. Big kudos to the chef Mahda , Zainal and team members Nando, Adrian who asked us what dish we want for the next morning! Their cooking is we found better compared to some famous restaurant in Surabaya. I really recommend you to try this hotel and experience yourself their services

This was one of the worst accommodation…

This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had.

Upon arrival, I was shown multiple rooms, and none of them matched the photos or description from the booking. The rooms were dirty, poorly maintained, and clearly not suitable for guests. One of the rooms did not even have a private bathroom, despite this being part of the expected standard.

What made the situation even worse was that I was asked to pay extra money for a “better” room. The staff initially requested around **70 EUR**, then reduced it to **40 EUR**, which felt like a clear attempt to take advantage of the situation.

The overall condition of the rooms was unacceptable – unhygienic, outdated, and completely different from what was advertised online.

Because of this, I refused to stay and left immediately without spending a single night there. I had to book another hotel the same evening at my own expense.

This place is misleading customers with inaccurate photos and then trying to charge extra upon arrival. I strongly advise avoiding this

Misleading cancellation advice led to complete loss

I booked a hotel in Andorra through ZenHotels for a stay in January.

At the time of cancellation, I was explicitly instructed by ZenHotels’ customer service to cancel the booking first in order to begin refund negotiations with their partner/supplier. I followed this instruction in good faith.

After cancelling, I was then informed that no refund would be provided due to the supplier’s policy. This directly contradicts the earlier guidance given to me and left me in a position where I had no booking and no refund.

If I had been clearly told that cancellation would lead to a complete loss, I would never have proceeded.

I subsequently sent follow-up emails requesting them to review the case, but did not receive any meaningful response.

I find this extremely concerning. The guidance provided was misleading and resulted in an unfair outcome.

The handling of this case has been unprofessional, particularly the way customer service gave instructions that were later disregarded.

I am currently pursuing this matter formally through my card provider.

I would strongly advise others to exercise caution when relying on cancellation guidance from ZenHotels’ customer service.

Thank you for your response.

I contacted your customer service in January and followed up multiple times but received no meaningful reply.

I proceeded based on the cancellation guidance provided by your team, which was misleading and resulted in a complete loss.

I am now pursuing this matter formally through my card provider.

I hope this case can be properly reviewed and addressed.

ZenHotels Delivered the Lowest Price by Far

I had a great experience booking through ZenHotels for Southern Palms Resort in Diani Beach.

During peak season, the resort itself quoted me KES 157,000 for 2 nights for my family (2 adults + 2 children). Other travel sites offered a slightly better deal at around KES 132,000, which already felt like a discount.

But ZenHotels gave me the best price by far — KES 106,000 for the same stay. That’s a huge difference, especially during peak season.

Even the receptionist at the resort was surprised with the price I booked at.

Super impressed with the value and smooth booking experience. Definitely recommend ZenHotels if you're looking for the best deals.
