Experienced catastrophic engine failure within 2 months of purchasing a 2021 Kia Sportage. An exhaust valve failed due to excessive oil consumption. Ziegler Kia of Holland was very happy to quote $23k for an engine replacement. However no effort was provided from either Ziegler or Kia in determining the reason for the oil consumption. This despite the fact that Ziegler had performed an oil consumption test just before we purchased the car, and it had passed the test (i.e. very little oil consumed). And finally, no support was provided from either Ziegler or Kia in looking for other, reasonable options. The $23k for a replacement engine is nearly twice the value of the vehicle

Tried calling 6 times today for service appointment, no phone answer, no return call. Service seems to be returning to their former unresponsive ways.

Huge shout out to my salesman Daler, the sales manager Kyle, and the finance manager Dan! These guys went ABOVE & BEYOND! I arrived in an Uber, and these guys made sure I left in a new ride! They were all patient, professional, and willing to work with me! Daler the salesman did a GREAT job with checking in with me, while Kyle worked his magic on the phone with the banks! I’m telling you, if you give them something to work with, they’ll do all they can to get you rolling!!!
