WARNING TO SENIOR DEVS: Unprofessional Recruitment Tactics by Josue David Rivas

I am writing this to warn other Senior Full-Stack and AI Architects about the solicitation tactics used by Josue David Rivas of zcaler.io

Josue reaches out with unwanted solicitations, claiming to be interested in your specific expertise. However, the moment you provide a professional resume of your work, he refuses to engage. Instead of a standard 5-minute technical discovery call, he demands that you immediately fill out generic internal "application" portals as a prerequisite for him to even look at your experience.

This is a classic "volume over value" recruitment play. He is not looking for a Lead Developer; he is looking for compliance and data-entry. If a recruiter solicits you but then claims they "need to evaluate your resume" only after you’ve done their busy work—despite having the documents in hand—they are wasting your time.

If you value your time and your stack, avoid the "pure attitude" and gatekeeping. There are plenty of recruiters who actually understand the AI space and won’t treat a Senior Architect like a entry-level applicant.

Good luck in recruitment, Josue. You’ll need it.
