Received a letter this morning from Case Matters in a brown envelope, return address somewhere in Birmingham. Had my full id. I think I know where the Data Breach has occurred, so I have made a complaint to that company. Also be aware, another scammer is doing the rounds, PCP. Who had my mobile number from god knows where, and was bombarding me with texts about the same thing. Mis- sold car finance! Haha, unlucky. You contacted the most suspicious woman on the planet and you have been reported too! I have NEVER had car 🚗 finance!

Was contacted about car finance…

Was contacted about car finance mis-selling when they stated there was a chance to make a claim. Without having full information, I decided why not. It was easy to start the process and updates have been provided as the process has continued. Since the mis-selling has made national news, it has become clear to me that I could have easily made the claims myself and kept any commission fees, which are hidden in the small print of the initial communication. So my overall rating is that their initial communication is disingenuous and they should be clearer and more explicit up front stating what their commission is, the timeline and right to cancel without incurring any fees and that you can claim directly if you want and their value is if you want someone to do it for you and save in that time, to utilise them. They can add value if you want to pay commission, but they need to be better at informing you of costs, your rights, the process and where they can help, so you can make a truly informed decision.

NOT TRUSTING THEM Classed as registered company no…

Classed as registered company no contact numbers they sent me letter to claim money for car finance but I don't know how they get my details because I NEVER GOT FINANCE for the car in my life so look like they fishing people to make it money on your own circumstances very badly and desperate looks like if you are genuine company and respectful for what reason you not having a contact number so people can call you and discuss the details in person not by someone over the email and trying to be genuine people

Still waiting for claim

First submitted my claim back in March 2022 have still not had anything back. The last communication I had from this firm was back in October 2023. I constantly email & ring for an update but get the same answer every time "waiting for the lender to come back to us". I didn't think it would take nearly 2 & 1/2 years when I first submitted my claim & still waiting.

2 years they been handling my case and…

2 years they been handling my case and I have to chase them up every time. Last time I had any contact from them was last November and nothing since.
They are total scammers who only seem to look for those with big money claims and rest of us they just string along.
I shall be reporting these scammers unless I hear from them in last month and will be seeking for this company to be struck off from ever been able to operate ever again.
They won’t even accept id that the government( both regional and national ) have accepted no problem at all saying only a valid passport or drivers license accepted which many don’t have, let alone most disable people like me.
I have explained this to them but they just didn’t care less.
Also when I claimed my ppi back they accepted the id I have now so why won’t this company accept the same id??
Also they seem to answer many other reviews on this site quickly but not mine which goes to show they don’t care about cases that don’t make them alot of money but to them disabled people are not real people.
