I can highly recommend Youles Motorcycles

I can highly recommend Youles Motorcycles, Blackburn to anyone who may be looking to purchase a Triumph motorcycle or those who may require a service or MOT. I have purchased 3 motorcycles over the last few years, all of which I still own. The support provided by all staff, whether it be Sales, Service or Workshop Technicians has been first class at all times, and always delivered in a professional, personal and friendly manner. The whole team are a credit to the organisation. Thanks again to everyone at Blackburn.

Blackburn shop for commuter transport

I visited the Blackburn branch to look into buying a commuter bike or scooter, as I wasn’t sure which would suit me best for year-round travel to work.

Jason was incredibly helpful throughout. He took the time to walk me through a range of options, clearly explaining the pros and cons of the bikes and scooters I was interested in. His knowledge was excellent, and I never felt rushed or pressured.

In the end, I chose a 300cc scooter, and I’m really pleased with my decision. Everything was explained clearly, from servicing to warranty details, and communication in the lead-up to collection, both by phone and email, was spot on.

I’m very happy with my purchase and glad to have found a dealership I can trust and will happily return to in the future.

Had a few bikes from Philip youles …

Had a few bikes from Philip youles suzuki and triumph Philip shoud be so proud of his staff from bike sales to the clothing team work shop team are all trained technicians anna is so clued up on helmets .she sold me a helmet which was a size smaller than all the helmets i have been using 😅 shows go to the professionals .would highly recommend youles for all your biking needs 5 stars all round .Good old fashioned service with modern technology

5 stars, and there’s a reason for it.

I dealt with Adam from start to finish and he was brilliant the whole way through. Took the time to properly talk me through the bike, what had been done to it, and kept me updated constantly on WhatsApp and calls, which made the whole process feel easy.

I had a few hiccups during the finance side, completely on me, but Adam still went above and beyond to help sort everything out and keep things moving.

For my first bike, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Genuinely sets a high bar and will be hard to beat going forward.

Would absolutely recommend Yuole’s Motorcycles, and I’d 100 percent go back to them again in the future.

Excellent experience

Wow just purchased my new bike from the Blackburn showroom. The staff were very knowledgeable, the atmosphere was very friendly and helpful. These guys are on top of their game, excellent 6 month warranty on their used bikes and a lifetime engine warranty!

What a selection of bikes, absolutely loads of used bikes all different manufacturers, the Blackburn showroom has the franchises for Triumph, Suzuki, Vespa and Piaggio. The Manchester stores have the franchises for Triumph, Vespa, Piaggio and Honda. Thanks again guys!

Not very good sales person

Called and got put throttle sales person mark at Blackburn wanted a price for mine against the speed twin cafe racer mines a speed twin 12 aluminium silver one year old 3250 miles on mark didn’t even know the bike wanted to know what the side panels were like don’t think this lad rides bikes gave me a low ball part x so told him I’d go else were.Aluminium silver is the new 2025 model even Philip youles should know that since my experience trying to part x I’ve heard a lot of the same stories from youles Blackburn

Fantastic shop

Fantastic shop. The staff genuinely care about the customer. The lifetime value of a customer is of paramount importance to them. Loads of other bike shops go bust,Youles keeps going-this is not by accident!!. The last guy who wasn't pleased with his Norton needs to understand these bikes are brilliant,but hand built. This always brings a unique character to the machine. The header pipes were probably of different thickness,hence the difference in colouration. Just ride it and enjoy it! My next new bike will 100% be coming from these guys. Ride safe and have fun!

My advice would be to go elsewhere

My advice would be to go elsewhere !
I bought a second hand bike from these lot, it broke down on the way home. I had subsequent problems with the bike not starting and when it did start it was running too lean on one cylinder (the exhaust was glowing red hot). I had to pay to get the bike back to Youles in Blackburn for them to argue with me that there was nothing wrong with it. Absolute jokers then offered me over £2000 less than I had paid for a £8500 bike having done less than 400 miles on it. My advice is stay away, go elsewhere because you are on your own once you ride out of the showroom !!

We’re sorry you’re disappointed, but we do need to set the record straight. Every bike we sell, especially hand-built (Norton in your case) and second hand machines, is carefully checked and finished to a high standard. The issues you describe simply don’t reflect the condition the bike left our showroom in.

Regarding the buy back offer, it reflects current market values and fair use. It’s not intended as a reflection on you personally, but on the bike’s condition and mileage, as is standard practice for any quality second hand bike.

Hand-built bikes naturally have character, and small differences in components or appearance are part of their charm, not a defect. Importantly, your experience is not reflective of the thousands of happy customers who ride away from us confident in the quality of their bikes.

We always aim to deal fairly and professionally, and we stand by the care and standards we put into every machine.

Top bloke.

I don't normally write reviews, however, I feel the need on this occasion. Buying a motorcycle during the depths of winter is not something I've done before. Not being able to physically see the vehicle or do a test ride, because of distances involved, gave me some trepidation. Meet Jason,a sales person at the Blackburn showroom. He went above and beyond to make the purchase of the vehicle a pleasant experience. He sent numerous videos showing the condition of the bike, organised pickup and delivery (Ironhorse transport, which I also recommended). Any questions I had, if he didn't know, he found out. Top bloke. Thank you Jason.

Great service by Joe and Dave

Great service by Joe and Dave. They helped me on my motorcycle journey . I’m very new and only just passed my CBT. They helped me choose the right bike as a commuter and I wanna travel up down the country .

The service was brilliant and I highly recommend as they took an interest in my needs and wants.

Poor sales team I was in discussion…

Poor sales team I was in discussion over 2 bikes I asked if they could offer me a bit more money on my px I was completely shut off . Some of the sales team need better manners.
And not just ignore customers.
I have since purchased another bike from another dealership.

I don’t trust this dealer

My experience is completely at odds with most of the other reviews. I can only think that the latter relate solely to the buying experience.
They promised me a new bike with a PDI, 1 year tax and a full tank of petrol. Pretty simple. The reality was that there is no evidence of the PDI having taken place ( it’s all on line sir - but it isn’t), the fuel gauge showed less than 1/4 ( Philip Youle subsequently told me they put enough petrol to get you home…) DVLA had no record of the bike being taxed when I got home.
I booked the 600 mile service and payed £230 up front thinking this must be the Honda price and include things I couldn’t do like can chain and tappet adjustment. They did NOT say what was involved. I subsequently found out that the Honda 600 miles service consists of 4 parts - link to diagnostics. adjust chain, oil and filter. By their own admission They didn’t do the first two. So £230 for oil and filter.
There are other things they haven’t done, that should have been in the PDI, but they just brush these off.
I am leaving this review to advise others to make sure what they are paying for and to check it has been done before parting with hard earned money.

Thankyou for spending the time to leave a review. We have conversed many times with yourself but seem to be struggling to meet your expectations.

I would like to break down your review, You were sold a new bike with 12 months road tax. We had carried out a Pdi, infact if we had not done a Pdi your bike would have been given to you unbuilt up and certainly would not run. I can not see any notes on the sale regarding a full tank of fuel however if you had brought it to our attention at the time and it was what was agreed we would have sorted it for you.
All our bikes are registered on the day of collection with the Dvla, this can take a few weeks to show online.

Myself, Philip and Dave have conversed with you many of times regarding your first service.
You brought your bike back to us after the service accusing us of not adjusting your chain correctly, upon your visit back to us we brought yourself and your bike in to the workshop where myself and Kyle our Honda workshop manager showed you how to adjust the chain correctly as you had taken it upon yourself to tighten the chain way past where it should be. We also went through what is done on the first service and how we do it. In conclusion your chain was lubed and adjusted correctly at the point of service. Regarding the diagnostics you may have previously owned a bike where you do get a Autoscan type sheet at the point of service. You do not get this on a Honda.

After the visit to the store you got back in touch with the same accusations again and basically told us that it would all go away if we refund you £95. You feel we should do this as a contribution to stop you taking it further. We did not refund you £95 as we are confident in our work and cannot be subject to such threats, after all you were told the cost of the service on two occasions before it was carried out and we have certainly done everything we can to satisfy you since.

I do also believe you have fallen out with the previous Honda dealer in Manchester, I hate to say it but it might be time to review your own expectations.

You know where we are, if you want to come for a brew and a chat you are welcome. I want you to help you but you are going to have to put this behind you.

Just picked up my BMW R18 from Youles…

Just picked up my BMW R18 from Youles Blackburn, been a few times over the last 2 or 3 years, originally looking for a 2.3 Rocket 3 but when I saw the R18 I had to have it. Great service every time I went in, all staff are great, always ready to get a coffee for me and my wife. Extra special thanks to Mark, really pleasant and very helpful, took his time to explain everything and made the whole experience a joy, I would definitely recommend Mark and Youles every time.
