Yintatech Store on Amazon: Card Charged - Nothing Delivered
I believed I'd purchased a 3 point hitch receiver through Yintatech's Amazon store. The first tracking status said it had shipped, but then changed to 'Delayed' with an apology for any inconvenience and a statement that my card would not be charged until the item shipped. The promised delivery window came and went before the status then changed to 'Undeliverable' without explanation. Undeliverable how? I received other Amazon deliveries in the same time frame - the issue was not on my end. Their vague "undeliverable" message wasn't disclosing they hadn't shipped the item. The next update to order status stated: "Unfortunately, a problem occurred with your shipment and we no longer expect it to be delivered." And under Amazon's 'Order Details' it said, "Cancellation Requested: Return Requested" Cancelled by who? By them! I never cancelled the order. Fortunately, I checked my credit card statement and discovered their message claiming my card would not be charged until the item shipped was untrue. My card was charged through Amazon the day I ordered from Yintatech, and the charge is still there despite their failure to ship the item. Their language in the messages is an obfuscation of the facts about my purchase. "Undeliverable" and "Cancellation Requested" has nothing to do with my delivery address, and the cancellation was entirely on their part. Amazon requires 48 hours of back and forth with Yintatech before they'll resolve the issue of the charge to my card. If unsuccessful, I'll have to dispute the charge through my bank.
