I hereby submit a formal complaint…

I hereby submit a formal complaint regarding an unauthorized and unlawful billing practice involving Yettel and a third-party company known as CFM, which operates online gaming and gambling-related services.
It has come to my attention that, through the use of Yettel’s mobile internet infrastructure, CFM has obtained and used my mobile phone number without my knowledge or consent, subsequently charging me for services via the Yettel billing system and mobile application.
I state clearly and unequivocally that:
I have never knowingly or voluntarily subscribed to any CFM services.
I have never entered my phone number on any CFM platform.
I have never provided consent, confirmation, or authorization (explicit or implicit) for such services.
I was never informed by Yettel when, how, or on what legal basis such consent was allegedly obtained.
This constitutes a serious breach of personal data protection regulations, including but not limited to GDPR, as well as a failure to ensure transparency and lawful processing of personal data.
As a citizen of the Kingdom of Sweden, I consider this matter a case of fraud and misuse of personal data. If this issue is not resolved immediately — including the termination of all CFM-related charges and a full refund of any amounts charged — I will proceed with legal action and submit a formal complaint directly to Yettel’s headquarters in the Czech Republic, as well as to the relevant European regulatory authorities.
I expect a written explanation detailing:
How and when my phone number was shared with CFM,
On what legal basis my alleged consent was recorded,
Why I was not properly notified of this third-party billing arrangement.

Misleading customers

My experience with Yettel Serbia was very disappointing. I asked in advance about the termination process and was told I could cancel anytime. After canceling, they still charged me for another month due to a “30-day notice period” that was never mentioned. Customer service was unhelpful and unclear. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend Yettel—better to avoid them.

Avoid Yettel: Broken eSIM, No Refund, No Help

Even though I personally went to a Yettel branch, their employee was not able to solve the issue with my eSIM on an iPhone 13, despite going through all the required steps. This was not my first time using a Yettel eSIM or other eSIM cards. In fact, just a day earlier I had another Yettel eSIM card that worked perfectly fine.

Their customer support did not help at all, and their official response was completely unacceptable. I was left without any option for a refund, which means they basically took my money with no solution provided.

Because of this, I am closing my Yettel bank account and will never use their services again. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customers is shameful.

Esim is not working

Bought an esim which I couldn't get to work in over 24 hours. Since I needed one I bought a new one from a different provider (esim.sm 8,90€ for 15 days) which started working immediately after installation.

Never again.

Esim is a scam

I bought their esim with data and calls included, it has been 3 days since then and they still haven’t released my data and calls, had to call multiple times, they says it can take up to 8 days. Do yourself a favour and buy your esim from another provider. Never in my life have I had to wait a week to get my esim working, that is normally done instantly and them not having an answer to give me is just shameful. Never again with Yettel!

Yettel and Telenor before yettel doing…

Yettel and Telenor before yettel doing the same thing in Serbia. They have been cheating customers. I signed in for mobile internet contact for 2 years but when we came home and tried internet the device didn't work so we recorded everything and went to Ada Mall in their subsidiary where we signed in contract to appeal but they didn't won't to cooperate and just turned us off. At the end we couldn't get another internet mobile device and they told us that we can't broke the contract so we decide to take legal action. Now we have device which doesn't work and we can't use it and we have obligation to pay yettel monthly something which we can't use. Yettel is a scam company. Learn something from my example and don't cooperate with them.

The Yettel network in Belgrade is shit.

The Yettel network in Belgrade is ultimately unreliable and has bad coverage. Most likely it suffers from congestion that is caused by poor technical management and planning. The latency in mobile games in the city center is worse than in Uganda. Meanwhile the prices for the mobile internet are super high. Avoid it if you rely on low latency, high reliability mobile network,

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever, don’t ever get Yettel internet because it is non existent! The story of your life will be turn it on, turn it off, disconnect the tv, disconnect the internet, turn the tv on, turn the internet on, plug and trouble shoot…and it still not working! Isdn lines 20 years ago were more reliable! Yettel should pay us to put up with this rubbish! Mind you rubbish is the mild word I feel like using something much stronger to describe them! Stupid, rubbish nonsense, crap, shite, disastrous. If you value your sanity don’t even think about Yettel! This company should be legally banned from providing so called internet service!

I've got a prepaid number, for about two years. Once, a few hundred dinars credit had dissapeared. I went to the shop, where the explanation was, that I need to register my number, to have an overview to transactions. Today again my credit has dissapeared. Very overall bad experience with them

Very overall bad experience with them, they tricked me into chaging package for which they asured me i could chage it without problem, but when i changed i had to pay for both old and new package for 4 months because not one of them told me i had to wait for half year contract period to end so i could change to better one, and now that contract is month upon its ending they cut my internet daily on purpose so that i could call them and renew it, which is not going to happen, they blame it on location not having wifi range, but i know its not true since by far i had 0 issues with internet with same location.
DO NOT RECOMMEND, they lie, and they know that no average citizen will not have time to go to court, thats why they do whatever they want. Services they provide do not match the contract and for amount of money i give its not worth at all.

These parasites will charge you for…

These parasites will charge you for every bank statement that is older than a year. So good luck checking if they’ve been robbing you for the bank loan you got while the bank was under Mobi banka.

They also don’t want to provide you with your loan contract and list of transactions made only for that loan via email, instead you have to do it yourself through web platform that is still under Mobi banka name. Their support team thing with that website tho is, every time you enter it you get a warning that it might not be the actual website that you’re trying to access but a phishing.

Their support team is clueless, unresponsive and not trained to deal with any of the shot that might come their way due to Yettel policies that are Fing ridiculous.

I’ve got nothing nice to say about them. Just horrendous.

Buuut, they won’t mind spam calling you to offer you ridiculously big loans, credit cards and such, freaking cult.

Wish I could give 0 star review

Crooks and thieves

This is a company you can not trust to provide good internet, customer service or to not plain rob you when they get a chance. The company experts advised me how to install cable promising that dogs do not touch them. When the dog messed up the cable, they gave me a bill to fix it because I signed a contract where I agreed with the instalment. The team that came to fix this even said that it is not true that dogs don't do this that small dogs do it quite often. Still, I should have known better according to customer support thieves. I have also had problems with internet flow when the speed drops below 1mbps in a middle of my meeting etc. Stay away from Yettel, I am sure you can find better.

Worst ISP

Worst ISP. I rented an appartment where the landlord has Yettels "home internet" which simply doesn't work well due to extremely high latency.

I called the support and besides the fact they did not understand the difference between network speed and latency, I was denied support because I did not call from the phone number the contract owner registered with the contract - so, imagine one family member who signed the contract and registered its mobile phone number as the ckntact number goes on vacation, and the home internet goes down, the entire family needs to wait for the contract signer to come back from vacation because other family members are denied support.

Companies like this should be banned btly law and decision makers should be imprisoned!

Stay away from thieves like this!!!

Do not use Yettel in Serbia

My advice is that you should not use this company for a Tourist SIM card if you intend to come on several visits to Serbia during the same year. They lock your phone and account with them to its old number and your email address that you may have used several months previously. Lord forbid if you should have forgotten the password you may used several months previously.

I asked them to wipe the former account I had held with them previously. They refused to do this because I had forgotten the password I had used. I did not have the old SIM card in my phone. Meanwhile I had spent 700 RSD on a new SIM card and added [via their Yettel App] another 1700 RSD money which I thought I had directed to my new SIM card with them. All the extra money I spent was added to the old SIM card which I had left behind in UK. All I wanted was the credit added to the new SIM card telephone number.

The manager in the Yettel shop was completely unhelpful given my situation. She refused to give me my money back. I went to A1 instead.

One needs a Serbian SIM and Phone Number to use the buses and trams in Belgrade.
