if I could give zero stars I would. Stay away from Yelp. The sales rep gave a sales pitch offering $300 bonus off for the first month. I was charged $360 the first month and $340 the second month with 11 clicks. They charged $10 per day for ads with no transparency. Called several times to speak to "Customer Success" and each time was on hold for over 30 minutes when I finally would hang up and try again only to experience same thing every time. Stay away from Yelp!!!

After a little nogotiatiom they where out Friday at 8 am
Quark and Dylan were on time.
Seemed very respectful etc.
They did bathroom fans first and probably spend 45 minutes removing and installing the recent fans I bought.
While they where installing the ceiling fan. Dylan asked if I wanted the remote control for fan set up?
He said”if u loose remote u have to go back into ceiling to reset.
As I mentioned my mother had dementia and it was her house.
I said if that’s all it changes ok.
When they finished the install, I turned fan and light came on fan was a small tornado works great but without remote u can’t change fan speed or turn light off.
When I spoke to the owner Dylan he said oh u have to run another wire to your switch to be able to do that!!
That seemed very wierd but ok.
Monday I had to check in ceiling fan instructions and apparently the remote needs to be installed to do those functions!
When I text Dylan his response was he and his partner heard say it was ok not to install.
But only with 1/2 the info.
So gave him 24 hours to resolve, he has decided not to do what he should have right off the bat.
It doesnt make any common sense to to have speed control or lightscontrol I mentioned to him.
He said seeing as I threaten him by suggesting I would do what I have to do! I will do ei social media.!
Also if u do business with this person don’t do cash as I did.
Get in writing what they will do for you!!

I posted my business on Yelp and now Yelp are harassing me and posting false information about my business
I posted my business on Yelp because they offer free listings. Yelp is the only company I know that charges $1 per day to show your logo. Within minute of posting, a representative calls me. I tried their adds for a month just to find out they are 5 times more expensive then google, so I cancelled it. Now the rep keeps calling me to the point of harassment so I advertise with them. I told him no that they were to expensive and would stay with my original advertiser.
They refuse to take no for an answer and keep on calling and calling and calling. I tried to update my company name because we incorporated and they refuse to post my legal business name. My lawyers and I are fed up with yelp. I've told them to remove my listing and they won't. My lawyers are working on a lawsuit against them and I will report them to RCMP for harassment.

I was told it would be free for a week but when I tried to cancel, it wouldn't cancel. I tried calling but couldn't get any answer. I emailed them 3 times to delete the ad as they put my business on the US site and I am in Canada so I got nothing. I canceled my credit card to stop them from stealing my money and got a new card. They, somehow, got my my new credit card information and have charged it. I don't know how they can get the new credit card information. So now I have canceled the new credit card. I am going to have to ditch my credit card company altogether. I don't know...do a balance transfer to a completely different crdit card company.

This business tricks you in to thinking your gonna get a lot of traffic to your site. They promised me at least 5 customers a DAY. I got maybe 2 in a MONTH but they could of been from my google ads. 2 weeks past and over 300 dollars charged to my credit card. 2 weeks after that over 400 dollars charged to my credit card. I dont even make that much like I said earlier

My thing was I was trying to change my address and they said I couldn't get to next step without a credit card. Of course, they billed me.

It had been a couple years since we tried yelp. A rep called us and we decided to turn on paid features for $120 a month.
They didn't bother to mention in 3 days our account would renew. So the first month was a complete waste. We sent out review requests to customers. They deleted a legitimate customer review. No thanks waste of money!

I had the worst experience with sam club store at 1-10 and fry road. Doing my usual weekly shopping I obtain 3 boxes of bleach continued my shopping only to realize when I got to the register the bleach had leaked all over my groceries, clothes and ruining my clothes as well as my Louis Vuitton bag. I was assisted by staff and the manager whom told me that everything would be taken care of. Only to find out three days later that they clearly decided that they would not cover any of the damages that I endured in their store. I am so disappointed in the service of Sam’s Club.
After speaking with the supervisor today December 15, 2022. She informed me that they are not responsible and will not cover any of the damages. And there’s nothing they can do about the bleach that clearly damage my clothes and my Louis Vuitton bag in their store.
I think it’s important for everyone to know that Sam’s club does not commit to their constituents with good service. This incident clearly was not any fault of my own, and I cannot understand why Sam’s Club would not agree to compensate me for damages in which I endured in their store.
Signing off as a sad, loyal customer who has been a member of Sam’s Club for many, many years. SAD!
Yelp hurts small business
Yelp is awful. Their algorithm for reviews is seriously flawed. I had someone who has a grudge against me and wrote several fake bad reviews on my business page and Yelp LEFT them on there. They actually hid good reviews left by real clients. Why?! I asked several times for the fake ones to be taken down, even called them and had a police report documenting the harassment on my business pages and they said “ we can’t remove anything, it’s all up to our computer algorithms” “the positive reviews are hidden because they are believed to be solicited” which they weren’t. Very disappointing this company is actually hurting small businesses rather than helping.

This site is full of lies. i was told the advert will run and they will design and make my business visible, only to see charges in my account in less than 5days. to top it up they are telling me i will not be refunded, and the agent said, i will not be charged unless the business has some leads etc. and i can cancel anytime with full refund , but this is not true

I think these guys are a scam. Was just advised today by them that they only keep good reviews on the front page of the listing IF the reviewer actively uses Yelp - if not, well then they drop off the review.
And if it's a bad review, the kind you get when a reviewer wants something for nothing and if they don't get it they threaten and then post a bad review, well in that case Yelp keeps the review front & center.
And they want you to pay for this service !!!
Never ever - and I'd suggest that you don't pay for it either and then don't worry about Yelp - most people know how bad they are what their game really is !

Our massages and facials were wonderful and the girls were very sweet however; the customer service at the cash was awful. I am a 65 year old woman who saved up to take my daughter and granddaughter, who are visiting from away, for an aveda spa experience here in the beautiful town of Wolfviille. We were so excited! My daughter and grandaughter were called in fist as my girl was still finishing up with another client . I decided that I would pay then so my daughter wouldn't try to pay where she would be out first. I was feeling rushed when paying as I was waiting for the girl to come for my massage. After paying I went back to sit down to wait and when I looked at my receipt and realized that I had made a mistake with the tip. It was $93.00 and change!! I am a retied senior and absolutely could not afford a tip like this! I panicked and immediately went back to the cash and explained that I could not afford a tip like this., I will not go into the details of the rude and condescending attitude that I experienced from the girl behind the counter. I understood what an inconvenience that I had caused and as mentioned ....I apologized a few times. My apologies were met with grunts and obvious major irritation. This immediately tainted my whole spa experience. and carried through my whole session! To note.... I was refunded the tip in cash so I could then give what I believed to still be a generous tip. My daughter experienced the same attitude when inquiring about prices for some products she wanted to purchase while waiting for me to come out. She also overheard that same rudeness and attitude with phone customers.... I/we will never return!!!! Word of mouth is advertisement and I am afraid my reviews are not positive.
Wonderful travel agency
I wanted to plan a special trip for my grandsons my sister and myself and had many details to work out that left me metotally lost, so I went to Sunset Travel and Cruise and Martha Galvez planned and took care of every single detail for me spending a lot of time helping me. I wouldn’t have been able to have the great trip that we had without Martha’s help. She was wonderful and very caring and did everything to insure we had a good time and we did. I look forward to go to Sunset again and will make it a point to recommend them and Martha to everyone.

We had dinner at the Gillnetter Pub last Sunday. I ordered Poutine with Beef Dip. My poutine was cold and the gravy tasted like someone had added too much flour to thicken it up. My son's onion rings were rock hard. My husband's fish and chips was not good. The batter wasn't cooked properly. They did take some money off the bill but I think the whole meal should have been comped.
